The chemistry of this team still needs work but individually they are better than Bermuda. Which means nothing because its Bermuda. 8 years ago we would have demolished them. Their game has risen dramatically. Us....not so much. If by some miracle they actually qualify they could be decent at full strength if handled properly.AGREED 100% They need to step up BIG TIME vs CR on Wednesday in very HOSTILE stadium...and we should be aiming to score as many goals as possible TODAY because goal-difference could be a factor
Operative word is if.....had you thought that the team was good enough you wouldn't be using "if". Just like most of our national teams this team is ill-prepared.
Good luck today guys.Actually we HAVE beaten the US at U-20 level 1-0 off a goal from Jerron Nixon when we qualified for Portugal 1990
We have never beaten USA at this level.
They won 5 and draw once.
Romain Gall of Columbus Crew can score.
The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association today announced at a Press Conference that the November 19th Friendly International against Jamaica at the Hasely Crawford Stadium will see two of this country's 2006 World Cup team members recalled to the current senior team for a send off in front of the home fans.. Christopher Birchall and Carlos Edwards will be added to the Squad and local fans will have their opportunity to say thank you to the two stalwarts for their services to the country. Birchall has officially announced his retirement from the international game while Edwards has hinted his intentions.Coops you're wrong on this one buddy. When David Nakhid had a testimonial match it was in an International friendly vs South Africa (although he came out of retirement to play in the 2006 qualifiers) and when Russell Latapy had a testimonial in was in our last local warm-up match here in T&T before the 2006 World Cup (although he too later came out of retirement to play in the 2010 qualifiers). So based on precedent Testimonial matches have been traditionally International friendlies
It would have been except for some nice "Scenery" in the standsWas at the game...disappointing performance and disappointing turn-out...WConnection should have won 2-0...same striker threw away a sitter, then then an easy 1 on 1 with the keeper, wouldn't want to be him in that dressing room tonight, nuff cuss will pass...agree not enough urgency showed by players...a couple players impressed me though, Connection #6 and #3...also peeps who went COVERED for $150 you got a chit-sheet (like in all-inclusive) for 2 doubles, a (mini)BakenShark, Corn Soup, 2 Shandi or Beer and a bottle water... so I was happy, didn't have to worry about dinner afterwards lol
would have been my highlight for de night
