So was Jack picked up in Switzerland or not? One article seem to suggest he was among those arrested.

Not to mention the law suits that would probably follow once the lawyers get a hold of this and start advising the victim and her family, especially if that girl suffered any facial injury. I could see law suits against the school district(s), the individual high school (s), the family of the attacker...

And for any violence on any school property here in Texas, protocol is to call the police because with everybody potentially packin heat... need I say more. But every school in our school district has its own school district police squad assigned and they attend every sporting event. They have the same authority as city police. Again, it's Texas.

My daughter got into a fight last year, playing for her high school soccer team, home game, and as soon as the ref walked her to the sideline, I immediately took her to the car and left before the police could make their way over to where we were. I did come back and check with them and the principal to make sure it was all good. It was a home game so naturally they were biased and cut her slack. Had it been an away game, it could have gone differently.

Ok cool Tallman..thanks. The primary schools I went to, Scarborough Methodist and Eastern Boys, didn't seem to know anything about football.

Eastern boys had Cricket and Track. Never knew about primary school football, thought it didn't exist. Was wondering if that is why our national players seem to be technically deficient.

Played football at home though, little neighbourhood "leagues/games". Lived in Diamond Vale and that place has 'nuff fields, so it used to be street against street (growing up in D'Vale was great!). To this day don't know who organized these. Passed through there the other day, on a glorious Saturday afternoon and not a soul was kicking a lime seed even on any one of the 5 football fields.

Where all dem people gone? And dey eh making children? Where dem? How come the youth eh playing football like they use to? Or I missing something?
You must be mad!!!!! eastern boys had one of the best football coaches and some of the best players in the whole of EDR. men like paul rudder and his brother micheal (sabba) came out of eastern under coach rudy gordon. to me eastern produced some of the best footballers in the POS region.

Thanks JC, Mr. Gordon, that was the man name, a dougla-looking man. I know them Rudder brothers, might have been same year as Michael. The Principal was Mr. James, Soca Fan, that was Jamesy (from Poly) father. Also, I was in class with Chucky older brother. And I get licks with that friggin whip too. Is Black Beauty he used to call it. Aleong and that noisy Volks Wagon beetle.

But Eastern had a wicked football team.

And even down Carenage, I remember primary schools league with Pt Cumana Government school playing Pt Cumana RC and also Carenage Government school as well as (used to be) Boys Industrial from Diego Martin.

You must have been in Aleong class (Eastern Boys), is why you didn't know they had Primary School Football at Eastern. LOL... I think I went Eastern slightly before you and remember going to the Savannah to see Eastern play Nelson St.

But seriously, even down Carenage, I doh see men playing ball everyday like we used to when I was growing up. I started in them small goal leagues in Carenage, then to U14 at CIC.

Went Saturday to see Dynamos (2) vs Redbulls (2), just to say I saw Thierry Henry live.

Most of the game, looked like Henry just say I go give them 50%, still hold down a starting spot on this team and make my millions. BUT, the few times the man decide to open up, get free and hold onto the ball, was like he (and J P Angel) have football PhDs, and everybody else still in middle school. But he strutted around the field like a friggin prima-dona only complaining. In his defense, he make some boss runs, but they didn't have anyone in midfield to make the passes. Henry throw way a sitter, bout top and middle of d 6-yard box, keeper beaten, and that man tap d ball wide of the far post. Unbelievable miss, and it came back to haunt them as Brian Ching scored a 90th minute diving header to tie the game for Houston who played most of the game with 10 men due to a red card.

Hilight of the game:
2 youthmen run on the pitch after Ching equalize. I thought them running to celebrate with Ching. One of them run up behind Henry, and jump on the man back and stay there for at least 3, 4 seconds. Henry was so cool with it, not even reacting, especially since he never saw the youth coming, so it had to be a surprise to suddenyl feel someone jump up on his back.

All the Dynamos security was a bunch of short fat men. So to see them fat men chasing after them 2 youthmen all over the friggin field, was funny no ass.

Fabiano hand ball!

Under all the shit talk, I cannot understand how anybody could say that Nigel (Jet Li) DeJong kicking Alonso in his friggin chest was "unintentional".

Which part of that was accidental?
The run-up to gain the required momentum?
The jumping to gain the required elevation?
The extending of the leg to deliver the knock-out impact?
The perfect delivery of the kick (that would make Jet Li, Jackie Chan and even the late Bruce and Brandon Lee proud)?
No wait, the appologetic raising of his hands after flattening Alonso... yeah, that was the "unintentional part".

Bottom line, he should have been sent to f*ck off! Because that was perhaps the most brazen foul of the entire cup. A move like that is only acceptable in MMA. It is worse than Mike Tyson biting Evander Hollyfield's ear in a boxing match. At least Mike was fighting with Evander!

Brazil was supposed to hit them 4.

Men criticizing Brazil because they not playin de way they want to see them play. Meanwhile, they have 2 wins and comfortably moving on to the next rounds.

How many times in the past, yuh see Brazil come to the world cup to entertain and get their ass sent home early. Dunga objective it to get # 6. And so far, he is on course to do that.

Sure up your defense, hold them out, and put away the chances when they come. I guarantee every team in this tournament has that as their mission. Not go out and entertain men thousande of mile away in their living room. And so far, nobody eh doing that better than this Brazil team.

Eh... even New Zealand on board with that. LOL

I doh know how long this been going on, but I notice some teams sporting sponsorship on their uniforms (doh know but I might be showing how long I ain seen ah SSFL game). Just came back from Trini.

My cousin gave me a Mucurapo shirt with his company's logo on it. He said he signed a 3-year contract to sponsor the team (he went Mucurapo). I think that's good for the schools and the league.

I had my doubts about Latas eh, but I'll say this, after watch last night's game, I will prefer to see them forget about nuff ah dem foreign based, and let Latas develop a core of local based into a TEAM.

Keep JLloyd, Birchall, Carlos. Tell Kenwyne to handle he stories at Sunlun and wish him well. Pick up the  men on the U20 and leh we push on to 2014 with dat startin now.

Oh, one more thing, tell Daniel if yuh ever ketch him anyway near where de national team training, we go have to do him sumting devious. STAY WAY!

Other dan dat, give Latas a chance with de local youths. I firmly believe now, after watching last night, dat a TEAM of locals, given time with Latas and Yorke, go be much better dan de fragmented bullshit we gettin when dem foreign based ride in 2, 3 days before a game. I think we could be good enuff to run with de best in de hex by 2014 qualifying.

Give Latas & Yorke a chance! Let dem start now, run some friendlies and watch de ride.

Watch de ride to not even makin de Hex.

Our BEST players will ALWAYS get contracts abroad and go abroad to ply their trade because it's simply not good enough here.

So you REALLY think a squad of players who are NOT OUR BEST PLAYERS playing in our inferior league will somehow do better?

LOL!

I happen to believe that given time to play together, they will do better than a "pick-up" squad of foreign based players... yes!
Just my opinion dred.

How good did our Best Premiership Striker do last night and any other night?

I'm not judging his character..I don't know him.....but he made a statement about his parents growing up in a small house and then said how great we have it here in the US and my argument is based on that last statement about how great "we have it here in the US"...that is an ignorant statement and from that it is obvious that he is walking with his nose to the ground.

How in the world you arrive at that conclusion over a simple innocous statement is beyond me.  The US is a very blessed country, it has it's share of problems but it is a blessed country.  Trinidad as well... I think that much we can agree with.  When I was still living in TnT and used to visit my mudda family in Toco, with their simple wooden home, no electricity or running water, coal pot and mud oven... I used to marvel.  There was something about the rustic lifestyle to me that was charming... I loved it.  At the same time I also knew that as much as I liked it I preferred what we had... brick house with electricity and indoor plumbing walking distance to the EMR.  It made me appreciative of those things which we had... it wasn't much by most people's standards but I was appreciative all the same.

Now does that make my statement ignorant simply because I didn't in the same breath acknowledge the dire poverty of the Beetham, hardscrabble existence in Laventille or the squalor of the squatters who were living just outside my neighborhood in Valencia?  I doubt it... but feel free to disagree.  Findley was speaking in very specific terms about his experience, to a reporter in what was largely an improvised conversation.  Let's not act like the man was making some grand sociological comparison, or even some Kerouac-esque observation.  Context matters.

Yuh forget de posey under de bed.

1. Have you ever try jocking with a rough pair of gloves ? well I would like to re-comend you try it if you have plenty time on your hands. Yuh does feel somebody else does be jocking yuh toetie for yuh.... try it and get back to me....

Or try this one, it was a success with Tongue and Truetrini

2. Put a mirror by yuh asshole so you can see your kakahole and jock at the same time, yuh swear is doggie style yuh facking ah ting. Take that, take that....

To me, plenty of the back-in-d-day stars get their ranks from playing savannah ball, skinner park, etc. althoug I know some of them did make it to the NASL and maybe even beyond.

Players today getting graded on a higher level due to the greater exposure today.

Back in the day, ah man woulda call a player a shithound if he couldn't pull down a ball dead like Ron La or Archibald. Today, Kenwyne getting put down because he cyah kill it dead like Berbatov.

Exposure have a big thing to do with it. Men does rate up players from long ago based on what they hear. Today, the opinions are more based almost exclusively on what you see.

Put the old time team in their prime against the modern team (and I too talking about pre Strike Squad) and is lix for the old timers, is my belief.

I guess even I too subject to it to a certain extent because I eh think this current team beating the Strike Squad. But, I say that realizing that the thing that stands out most when I consider Strike Squad and the current team is, the Strike Squad was a TEAM!
