This is what stood out the most for me. I hope the NAAA takes this seriously and make the necessary adjustments instead of ignoring the complaints being made.

First of all, arriving to a World meet just two days before the start is not good enough. I understand the team was to leave on Friday 18th. What was the reason for the delay. The delegation left at midnight on Saturday and arrived sometime on Sunday morning. After rest and check-in the team only had Monday to get adjusted to the time difference, jet lag, the accommodation and track. The time difference is an issue as Eugene is three hours behind TT time. This means that our young athletes may have been getting up at 3am/4am in Eugene in keeping local time here (6am/7am)in TT.


not to mention that 4-5 of the athletes almost didnt have any kits to run in. Their luggage got kept back in ney jersey and got back to them the morning before the games..
