I've been to several Trini based/related forums since the world cup started and have noticed a disturbing trend of people criticising the team for the sake of it and mostly using it as an excuse to lay on their self loathing for themselves and their fellow countrymen.

Mr Icky you atttacked people in here for having faith and because of that lack common sense? Your superficial intellect astounds me. The TnT team entered this tournament via hard battles. defeating the likes of Mexico and a close call with bahrain. We were then laughed at and touted as an easy team to beat by nearly every football expert who were ignorant of the teams strenghs and sucesses.

Some claiming in England that we will be a goal fest.

People wrote us off against Sweden.

Well what happened? The defense manage to break down Sweden's attacks and the ones they didn't Shaka stopped all the strikes getting past the post.And half that time was with ten men People soon started to take note.

Then came England. We cut down all their best players including rooney when they had the ball. Apart from 1 excellent goal by Gerrand, England had to resort to cheating to get into the qualifying stages. What does that tell you? If your trying to come across as more intelligent than the "rabble" in here,then you have seriously exposed yourself. Using the logic that you claim to be using, TnT have fought off two stronnger teams and in Sweden who was constantly attacking we held them to a draw with excellent goal keeping skills and good tactics in defense. So using logic a team capable of doing that should have no problem with a team that isn't exactly strong but are not a weak team either compared to what we have acheived so far.

If you said were gonna lose because England won't beat Sweden than i might have agreed with you. But its obvious to most here that your self hatred to Trinidad and its people is the real reason why you are attacking our team with unfounded nonesense I've eve rread in my life.

my complaint is we have only seen a glimpse of what the soca warriors can do and hope we can see there real potential once we get to the second rounds. that's permitting if England does their part.

Its simple Tnt doh carry on so. We don't rub it in peoples face about how great a country we are ad neither will we make a chupid movie about how we win the world cup against all the odds.

Its the yanks previous behaiviour is why they get treated as such.

While that may be true TSB .Jack is coming off being injured and he may not be strong enough to repel any goals from a determined Paraguay side. Shaka has really shone in this tournament and has proved himself a strong goalie. Does Beenhaaker think this will be our last game in the tournament and thinks by playing jack he will at least have a game in this WC campaign? If he wanted to win i'm sure he would have just pick Hislop.

Anyhow we go see if Jack can go beyond what Shaka done in this WC.

Why we still giving attention to this jammo mudda____?  He thinks our team getting through because we play weak teams? Like Jamaica was so strong in that 6-0 defeat against an injured England. Steup. We now have we players in the top player satistics in Tackeling and goal keeping. Not bad for a country whose only making their first WC appearence.

Face the trut, Reggae bullers yuh time is done. Like soca in the caribbean we go dominate the WC from now on in. All dem people can say this and dat and the Soca warriors will do their talking on the pitch where it matters. Because so far we shut half de people who say we no good and have to swallow their tounge when they realise we got a good and strong WC side. Now it time to shut the other ignorant naysayers up, starting with beating Paraguay and qualify to next round.

Sando speaks true,that ref was handing too many yelow cards to TnT while letting england get away with more serious fouls. If he could yellow card the Soca Warriors for breathing he would have.

I'm content that the moral victory is on the side of the warriors.

I see nothing to get excited here. Rooney wasn't on form against TnT though he couldn't do anything against our defense whether he was fit or not. Sweden won't layabout and England will. They don't need to win this match so they will just go through the motions since they are naturally lazy players.

The best thing about this experience which everyone agrees with is that people take TnT seriously now in football stakes. I no doubt we'll win against Paraguay but i have no faith in England beating Sweden.
