any lawyer worth his weight in Salt would try his damnest to find a loop hole

You don't know what de ass yuh talking about.  Any lawyer worth his salt would try his best to advocate and find a loophole for his client.  Who is Anand Ramlogan client here?

Best yuh did stay quiet.
man take it easy
ya go give ya self an aneurysm
here this is what you said ::) ::)
so you going back on what you said
YOU ARE THE GREATEST
but your friends LOVE YOU

Y go 2 d Privy Council just advise d govt dat dey name eh Noriega so doh sent dem.

That is not a position TnT want to find itself in... cooperation with the US on criminal matters is nothing to be trifled with, not when we need as much help as possible with getting the situation in Trinidad (in particular) under control.  That said, I believe that if some legal loophole can be found this government will try its damnedest to find it.

2010 World Cup - South Africa / Socceroos' Tent City
« on: June 13, 2010, 09:14:36 AM »
check the Socceroos' Tent City.

"DURBAN South Africa (Reuters) - Australians have finally taken charge at Durban's Kingsmead stadium, 40 years after their cricket team were humiliated by South Africa.

The clipped turf is now home to 1,200 Australian soccer fans housed in neat rows of green tents with a vast beer tent ensuring a World Cup party atmosphere.

Australia play their first game in Durban against Germany on July 13 and the fans will be able to stroll from the downtown Kingsmead ground to the nearby Moses Madhiba soccer stadium.

The campers have paid anywhere from 4,500 Australian dollars ($3,775) to 6,000 Australian dollars for their South African soccer odyssey."................more in article

Football / Re: Glen rescues National Team against Pro League XI.
« on: June 11, 2010, 06:06:24 PM »
Quick question ..were you there ? did you see the game ? Did latapy tell you what his objectives were for this scrum ? If all your answers are yes .. I following your enlightened  posts from now ..as most of us are in the dark about just what Latapy's aims and objectives are with the national team ....
He has been there as assistant and now coach for years .......
Quick question:  u pay to see the game? it had match officials ?  the team wear the official uniforms? what national anthem played? the teams line-up and shake hands? the coach was in a shirt and soft pants?

If the answers to all that is yes, then i will follow your hater posts from now on as u are well aware of what it takes to coach a national team to the world cup in 2014 under the Jack Warner regime.

Spidey I think yuh being a bit harsh...Jai John just making a point re the level of PROFESSIONALISM (or LACK thereof)..I remember some years ago when Vranes was our National team coach, Arnold dwarika injured hmself playin in just such a "scrimmage" up at UWI, because he reached late, didn't put on shin pads and was tackled hard. Now I was NOT there, but I think regardless of what the INTENTION of the Coach is, ANY game should at least have officials and it's the reponsibility of the COACH to CLEARLY SAY what the purpose of the game is..Latas needs to keep in touch with us about his plans..COMMUNICATION either directly or via the Team Manager (Shaun Fuentes is out of the country) is needed.
We Like It So

Are these players insured? Was medical personnel at the game?  What happens if someone gets injured?  Who pays the medical bills?  Unless it is an official training session or an official friendly, such games should never be allowed by the TTFF.
even in matches that the TTFF sanctions we players get shafted when they get injured

So, if de FBI din give this man $$$$ arguably the Peruvian woman would have been alive today?

The money came from the mother not the FBI. The FBI apparently had some charges they could have held him on (wire fraud), but also the Aruba police could have held him again for at least 180 days based on new evidence from that extortion incident.

I heard he passed through Colombia when two girls went missing as well, but haven't read if they found any further evidence to make a link.

There are reports the FBI paid him $25K ... seems this was separate from what he received from the mother.
that story is real messed up

Football / Re: Sepp Blatter: Brilliant victory, my friend Jack!
« on: June 11, 2010, 06:11:55 AM »
If you read the original post and all you get from it  is Blatter congratulating Jack then you may have missed the forest for the trees. Read it again and see if you do not see anything else. Baltter also mentioned the president and sports minister ...is that customary ? ...we have a world cup tournament here later this year No ? ...

There isn't even a tree there... let alone a forest.  Did Blatter step in during the election and endorse anybody?  That would be "interfering" in politics.  At best this is a perfunctory courtesy congratulation extended to a new government... at worst is Sepp congratuating he pardna.  Big deal.

This is a prime example of how people in Trinidad could be in the dark about Jack and he bobol.  The real corruption allegations does get lost in de ole noise allyuh does be raising about Warner.

This is not the first time for this scenario you see ,dats why people could jump to certain conclusions ...as they used to say ...for those who came in late ... Lets scroll back a bit ...

Blatter got Jack's endorsement and votes to keep his Presidency .... Come world cup in T&T and a new government ...Jack buys Scarlet Ibis hotel ....Jack renovates hotel .... New government agrees to fund construction of several stadia around the country ...a company called W construction is formed to build these stadia ....warner construction ... Jack claims his company would get FIFA approval before any competitor as he knows the  FIFA specifications ....big money parse !
add to that Jack renovated hotel for accomadation  ...jack food company to feed players , jack son company for communication, travel agency ...package deals , tv rights ..etc.

Jack and the then PM were buddies then .... Jack even took the bail for his wife when both she and her husband were before the court on corruption charges ...

scroll forward now ....new government in power ...jack and Pm are buddies ..jack Blatter's support and endorsement ...jack is on Blatter's side with his 33 votes next election ....youth world cup in Trinidad and Tobago coming later this year ...jack is appointed Minister of construction ...ooops ..works !! same thing ...see any similarities yet ?
Dat is why some of us old ones are sceptical ...doh vex ....is just that we have lived long enough to have seen this movie already ..so we know how it ends .
well said Jai John
