Besiktas are reported interested in Garcia and it’s reported they’ve submitted a proposal. The coach loves him, they value him around 5 million EUROS. So I heard. Nottingham Forest, Wolves and some smaller teams from Italy like Florentina is also said to be interested.

All just rumours, maybe in the summer being the transfer window closes in one week.

Fenwick dating Gary Griffith's sister or some family member, hence the reason his son Gary Griffith III is on the team.

From my observation on Fenwick.

I think Terry can form a decent game plan. But it would be quite basic. He usually create teams from the back. Solid defence, hard to breakdown but not very imaginative going forward. Lots of 0-0 and 1-0 results.

I don’t think he can change tactics mid game. So if he goes 1-0 down, he probably will lose. His talent is in building a good team spirit. Players will fight for him and dig deep. He’s a good motivator. However, he rarely takes responsibility and usually blame players for poor results.

See how Liburd turned on Terry? He’s really developed a reputation of stabbing people in the back. You notice how lots of the main football people don’t talk to him? He’s shit on everyone over the years!

Terry will do well against most regional teams, but the better coached teams will expose his lack of tactical ability. Check Terry’s stats in Belgium. Lots of whippings over there because his lack of tactical adaptability was exposed!

Look how he did nothing on Sunday vs USA to stop the attacks down the wings! His successes have always come when he’s had money to spend. That’s because the players make him look good! When Clico left Jabloteh, Terry followed. He demands exorbitant salaries and will sacrifice players to earn what he wants.

As for Sean Bonval, he is ok. He could be a regular in the team but he won’t be a star.

Heard Edwards might leave Central FC among other players. Central FC not paying the players and when they do players have to beg them.

I think the club is about to fold up, not sure if they got their prize money as yet, but I hope they do.

The Super League is better run.

Dennis and his staff was warned not to do any interviews with the media especially SWO and wired868.

Apparently DJW wants to sue both websites.

Peter Rampersad was fired after 26 years.

Unless transportation is provided once the TTFA move its office to the Ato Boldon Stadium the women in the office Delyce, Fabrice and Hannifer will have to seek employment elsewhere.

Technically they not directly getting fire, but could be forced out unless the TTFA provide extra money or transportation.

Something has to give.

Spoke to someone inside the TTFA, apparently Daneil Cyrus refused to resign with W Connection hence the reason he wasn't called up, he is trialing with North East Stars.

More to come on this.

To be honest, Cummings looked far superior and technically better than the rest of the players.

I hope Lawrence use this player more often.

A game or two more and he should be fully fit.

Hodge and Hector looked really good to me.

Mitchell, Arcia, Boatswain, Perry, Paul and de Silva played decent to.

Akeem Roach looks powerful, with him and Boatswain untop for T&T, could do some damage.

Cyrus played central defence.

I liked what I saw as far as attack goes, however, our defence wasn't really tested and that worries me, because Panama and Mexico will come at us hard, I feel the TTFA should try and get one more game, because we going into these WCQ with a false feeling about our defence.

There were most staff on the substitute bench than there were players.  :rotfl:

Football / TTFA hiring Women & Men coaches & Hart is still owed.
« on: January 30, 2017, 01:06:29 PM »
The TTFA hiring Women coach (foreigner with top pay) and a full foreign staff (top pay) and Lawrence for the Men's team plus a full staff (foreigner - Sol plus more to come) and Stephen Hart is still owed for work he has already done in the past 6 months plus the remainder of his contract which ends in 2018.

FIFA made David John Williams head of the committee that will oversees coaches/players status so any grievance Hart will have to go through DJW. ....

Not to mention players have not been paid for their last 4 games for T&T.

Lawrence has pull out of the race for T&T coach.

Skeene is upset with DJW but has a double tongue.

Stuart Charles is our next coach, T&T is doomed.

DJW is worst than Jack Warner.

DJW reject Lawrence demands. Fight in TTFA as DJW bullying for Stuart, but the board want Lawrence.

An insider in the Guardian told me Walter Alibey from Guardian on Shabazz and DJW payroll.

The technical committee say Stuart Charles and the TTFA board pick Dennis Lawrence.

I could imagine how DJW taking this.

The current TTFA board of directors comprises: David John-Williams (president), Joanne Salazar, Ewing Davis and Allan Warner (vice-presidents), Samuel Saunders (Central FA), Sherwyn Dyer (Eastern Counties Football Union), Karanjabari Williams (Northern FA), Richard Quan Chan (Southern FA), Anthony Moore (Tobago FA), Joseph Taylor (Trinidad and Tobago Football Referees Association), Sharon O’Brien (Women’s League Football), Wayne Cunningham (Eastern FA) and Dexter Skeene (TT Pro League).

The TTFA technical committee comprises: Dexter Skeene (chairman), Dr Alvin Henderson (vice-chairman), Bertille St Clair (former World Youth Cup coach), Errol Lovell (former national goalkeeper), Jinelle James (ex-national player and current administrator) and Muhammad Isa (technical director).

Mitchell had ligament damage, they sent him back on. Cornell with hamstring went on a hobble in the game. Four players with all hamstring injury?? And they bring in a trainer for this, where was he.

Where the doctor and physio now talking about professional integrity.
These are the questions that needs to be asked, why was Cornell allowed to play with a hamstring injury because while hobbling he could've tripped on himself, fall, hit his head and suffer a concussion. And why was Mitchell playing with a ligament injury? Where's the integrity towards our players well being?

I expect a resignation soon!

They used the Jan Williams supposed injury to fire Hart.

The only person that needs to go is John Williams.

And his sidekick (I can't call names) backstabbing him and he don't even know it, that how I got the news about Mitchell.

Shabazz, Isa all of them have the football in a mess in T&T. Look at the Women, Girls team, U17 Boys and the U20 do. All under the TD and nobody questioning anything.

The U20 gone to Curacao and taking players who not registered.

DJW telling people Shabazz not involved and yet he went Panama to organize the camp for the U20

DJW says one thing in meetings and then ask for a private meeting with his crew and bad talk certain staff members trying to fire certain people. I can't call names.

Andre Samuel is now DJW mouthpiece.

22
I was about to post something familiar.

I heard Jamal Shabazz talking and out of pure ignorance, David giving this man to much power, I don't understand why he is stooping to him?

He wanted Hart to take a more sterner stance on the players who break curfew, and Hart had nothing to do with the punishment, it was the TTFA committee.

Shabazz expecting Hart to stand guard by every player's room so they don't break curfew? He can't monitor these men 24-7.

This has happened under every coach we had including Leo Beenhakker.

So much to be told, but I have to go, will send Flex an update.

What kind of foolishness is this??

Really insider?? He's worse than Jack Warner??

So the basis of this is that he did not go down and greet the players?? Really?? This is the reason for an entire thread??

Negativity? Affecting the players?? How silly is this??

Controversial, you never liked DJW from the start, so nothing he does will satisfy you.  We got a friendly against Uruguay, you have a problem because you want to know who initiated talks, lol.  Totally laughable.

We got a friendly for our local based against Grenada...........you said that we need more friendlies.  The only place i see negativity is in here.

I am not a fan of DJW, but geez, give the man a chance.  Four months in to his tenure and men saying that he not speaking about the national team with the same passion he speaks about the club he spent the last 30 years grooming.

So unreasonable and so unnecessary.  As i keep saying, we are the creators of our own demise.

Andre, I believe the president needs to reach out to the players and fans.

Show me where he has done so since being elected and it cost NOTHING !!!!!!!!!!

He is upset since the players protested before the game vs Haiti.

He does not like Kenwyne and Jan.

Bro, its deeper than you think.

I went over to see the game vs Grenada and can you believe David John Williams was there with his W Connection crew, he never even walk down and greet the players and staff.

Asked yourself, he has won election 4 months ago, have you guys ever hear him acknowledge the players, coaches or even the supporters?

The guy look at Hart like he is nothing.

He has won election since November last year and never even acknowledge the players or greet them.

He is riding around with his W Connection crew to all the games and no respect for the T&T players and staff. He passing them straight like a stranger.

He secretly flew in for the game vs St Vincent with his crew and nobody knew.

The players they feel he is disrespectful.

The guy have a motive.

He doesn't care about anyone.

He is pushing for his W Connection peeps.

The faster the team fails, the better for him, it will give him excuse to fire Hart and his players and bring in his team and his players.

This guy is worst than Jack Warner, he is doing things so dread in so little time he has been here.

Someone on his staff told me (I can't call names, his close friend) that he said he will go to the game on Tuesday.

T&T Couldn't beat my spice boys but you know I love both teams  ;D

Should have been up by 5 in the first half for T&T. But T&T throw away chances!

Wincester alone should have had a hattrick and Williams two.

Second half continue the same, Lewis miss a breakaway, and a tap in the ball dropped at his feet and Hector blast a sitter wide also.

Frustrating! But good football playing wise, possession and penetration just TT have no strikers for the top level

FIFA Match Agent Pleads Guilty in U.S. to Corruption Charges
By David Voreacos and Christie Smythe, Bloomberg.

A Colombian soccer consultant pleaded guilty to paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes to officials who awarded media and marketing rights, admitting he used sham contracts and Panamanian bank accounts to cover his tracks.

Miguel Trujillo, 65, entered his plea in federal court in Brooklyn, New York, where he was the 13th of 40 people charged to have admitted guilt in a U.S. crackdown on soccer corruption in the Americas. Prosecutors say soccer officials and business executives paid more than $200 million in bribes for media and marketing rights to tournaments, World Cup siting votes and elections at FIFA, the sport’s governing body.

In pleading guilty, Trujillo admitted paying bribes to help two marketing companies, Traffic Sports USA Inc. and Media World LLC, win rights to tournaments. Those events were staged by the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, or Concacaf; regional soccer federations; and national federations in Central America and the Caribbean.

He said he paid the bribes in advance of the World Cup qualifiers in 2014, 2018 and 2022 for Central American soccer federations.

He and his co-conspirators “often used sham contracts and invoices in an effort to disguise the true nature of these transactions,” Trujillo said in court.

Earlier Pleas

Trujillo’s admissions buttressed earlier guilty pleas by Traffic Group founder Jose Hawilla and former Traffic USA Chief Executive Officer Fabio Tordin; Media World’s former CEO, Roger Huguet; and Concacaf’s ex-president Jeffrey Webb. Trujillo said he conspired with those three and 10 others not identified by name in court documents.

Trujillo said he used several small companies he ran and Panamanian bank accounts to help move bribes through a labyrinth. One $80,000 payment moved from his company account at Multibank Inc. in Panama to a Bank of America Corp. correspondent account in New York to a Citigroup Inc. account in the name of a Caymanian lawyer, court documents show.

Another payment for $170,000 went from his company’s Multibank account in Panama to a Deutsche Bank AG correspondent account in New York to a Loyal Bank Ltd. account in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. That account was in the name of a British Virgin Islands holding company run by a Concacaf official, court records show.

Match Arranger

Trujillo, a legal permanent resident in Florida, was licensed by FIFA to negotiate and arrange matches between the sport’s national associations, according to a statement from Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Robert Capers.

Trujillo pleaded guilty to one count of money-laundering conspiracy, two counts of wire-fraud conspiracy, and one count of filing a false tax return. He agreed to forfeit $495,000.

Trujillo’s attorney Joseph Steven Rosenbaum declined to comment after the hearing.

In a separate hearing, the former president of the Venezuelan soccer federation, Rafael Esquivel, made his first appearance in federal court. Esquivel was extradited from Switzerland, where he was one of seven soccer officials arrested last May.

He pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy, wire-fraud conspiracy and money-laundering conspiracy.

The case is U.S. v. Trujillo, 16-cr-108, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York (Brooklyn).

The TTFA had hired Miguel Trujillo to be their official match agent. I think he was the one who got the Uruguay match.

However, I heard that they had to let him go because of this.

Miguel Trujillo is very good friends with Jamal Shabaaz who recommended him to Williams and without doing any research, hired him.

I spoke to one of his friends over the weekend, off course I can't call names anymore.

They told me he is upset with the attack he and his staff gets from SWO.

I am assuming this is the reason why he is ignoring you Flex.

You guys keep doing what you do in a decent way, DJW wants to tie everyone's tongue and SWO being a separate entity that he can't control makes his more upset.

They also told me, that after the both upcoming games that they will announce their plans for summer.

Football / Re: Marvin Oliver Thread
« on: February 27, 2016, 06:45:26 AM »
The Players’ Status Committee has therefore ruled as follows:

i. That the player be paid all outstanding monies owed inclusive of salary for the months of January and February without deductions.

ii. That no obstacle should be placed in the path of the player with regard to him seeking to be transferred to another Club.

Marvin was not fired and remained an employee of the club. But Marvin did not want to return to the club so he has left as a free agent. Central will pay him his February salary as he has already received his January salary.

This should highlight to players that they should follow the correct grievance procedure instead of running to the press. Marvin has lost 4 months salary through his actions, instead of accepting that his role would no longer be as an automatic starter.

While Central have successfully defended their actions, it is sad that one of their pioneer players has left this way, particularly when he may have left with another Pro League title and maybe another CFU title as well had he stayed.

Shabaaz is very sly.

He have the senior women players controlling the entire team and Richard Hood like a dummy, they need a brave coach to get rid of the trouble makers and groom a whole new team.

I have a strong feeling they going and try and get rid of Walkes very soon. They treating the poor man like a dog. Imagine he not even on the Technical committee.
