not much to add to what people said.....except flights to london gatwick from toronto are normally cheaper in my experience.....there are usally chartered flights using air transat (or canadian affairs)

as many of said there are many cheap flights like ryan air and easy jet but they have weight restrictions with severe penalities....prolly best to get the eurostar if you have a lot of luggage

or if you book in advance you can still cheap flights with 'non-budget' airlines...check

« on: September 28, 2009, 05:41:45 AM »
congrats to kenwyne on his double strike today . . .  but wha is steve bruce scene. .

Asked about Jones taking the second penalty, Bruce added: ''It's a good job he scored, it won't be happening again that's for sure.''

taken from article on

Bent is the designated penalty taker....he let Jones take it...sounds familiar  ;D

hence Bruce was vex....he was vex with Bent not with Kenwyne

Sorry to hear Kandi.  Stay strong girl.

Another thing too- KEON DANIEL SHOULD BE THE DESIGNATED FREEKICK TAKER IF HE'S ON THE FIELD. The man has proven himself to be the best freekick taker we have, and prob among the top 3 in our history- why the hell did Carlos(who is our best player for years now still) take that freekick around the Mexican pen area in the 2nd half- he pushed Keon away from the ball after he had lined it up, and proceeded to blast the ball into the far post of the imaginary goal next to the real one. I'm sure Keon would have at least gotten that on target. That is the same shit that caused the pen miss in EL Salvador- and why we only have 2 pts instead of 4.

Keon Daniel is the designated taker of ALL set peices.

Totally agree , could not help but  :banginghead: the location of that free-kick was tailor-made for a left -footed strike with the ability to dip at the end. Look at where the goalkeeper positioned himself, he was prepared for Carlos as he covered the far post, I am sure he was aware of Carlos's goal in Tobago. Carlos is a flat ball striker whereas Keon has the ability to bend and dip with pace. This was a missed opportunity and Latas has to address this issue of senior players pulling rank over the junior players ,especially with freekicks from the mid to right side of the penalty area where Keon has a natural advantage.

Because maybe Carlos just came off a game scoring a FK from similar position.

Maybe Carlos should have realized that he was scouted.
yuh right...since he scored in the previous game he shoulda automatically think he was scouted and not take anymore free kicks for the rest of the hex  ::)

Money talks.....Good move for ManU, more money to buy other good players.....Maybe they can keep tev now

all yuh need to buy a pivotal player with that money not 3 or 4 quality u squad strong enough as it is.....

if this goes through, people will play down the loss of ronaldo cause he's not that well liked, but he is very important for man united....from set pieces, to goals, to that spark in the midfield....

Curious to get people's opinion on how Edwards is playing.  He's been in the starting line up for a while now.  Would you say he has solidified a starting position?  Who is he replacing?  Malbranque?  Is someone injured or is he just playing better now?

Haven't seen much Sundarland games this season

If anybody has seen Machel perform this year, when he performs Raving he includes a popular techno track in the set where he dims the lights and sends the crowd into a frenzy.

Well on Sat in AC7, Shurwayne Winchester found nothing else better to do, but to use the same techno song in his set. Well that didn't sit too well with Boy Boy.

Machel ran on stage and told Winchester to come to 4k off. Boy Boy then proceeded to his dressing room and put ah cuss on him. He also told him, "I give yuh ah shot in meh concert and that is wha yuh go do meh?!?!"

that sig is still make meh cry....lawd  :rotfl:

i know people emotional and ting....but lawd breathe and think rationally.....yuh cah blame one person for the loss.....this article is bullshit and its only purpose was to stir up ting, which it obviously did...

also if you get a 2-0 up....your star forward(not only star forward-but legend goal scorer for yuh country) tell you he confident he could score the penalty.....i cah fault dwight for giving him the penalty..

also, i actually get more nervous seeing dwight take a penalty than any other player....i always get scared of de chip own the middle.... ;D

Pre - Match

By Nick Alexander

Ricky Sbragia is thrilled at the prospect of experiencing a North-East derby for the first time as a manager.

Sunderland enjoyed wins over local rivals Middlesbrough and Newcastle at the Stadium of Light earlier in the season when Sbragia was part of Roy Keane's back-room team.

The Black Cats face a return match against Boro at the Riverside Stadium tomorrow and this time Sbragia will be in the manager's spot in the dug-out.

"It'll be great to experience a derby as a manager," said Sbragia. "I've done it as a coach but it'll be a little bit different taking them out.

"With the situation both clubs are in, it's an important game. There's a lot at stake but nothing will be decided tomorrow, it's one of 18 big Premier League games we have left to play this season."

Sbragia reckons a point from tomorrow's match would be a decent return to bring back up the A19. "First and foremost, I want to make sure we come away unbeaten," he said.

"It would be great if we could go there, do ourselves justice and come away with at least a point and, preferably, a win.

"We've already taken three points off Boro at home this season and it would be nice to take another point tomorrow - more if we can."

Sunderland go to the Riverside sitting in 15th place in the table, just two points outside the relegation zone. Boro are two places below them and only goal difference is keeping the Teessiders out of the bottom three.

Sbragia added: "It's a game with local pride riding on it but I have to try and put that out of my mind.

"The first goal will be the most important and we have to make sure it is us who take the initiative."

Kieran Richardson should shake off an ankle injury to play while Steed Malbranque and Phil Bardsley are set to return after being rested against Bolton last weekend.

thanks for the links kev  :beermug:
