http://www.uncommoncaribbean.com/2011/12/27/uncommon-attraction-the-village-of-toco-trinidad-tobago/

the image in the piece? Looks like work I've seen here before.

Your memory in good order Jumbie! Yep it's mine.

;D Ah still grinning from ear to ear to eye!! The article came out last Christmas weekend, and only great things following it since then.
The recognition received is overwhelming.  Now I have a contract with another magazine to snap photos for Carnival and/or TnT.

Things nice ;)

Condolences to the families of the respected departed ones. I am familiar with Rolf Warner. As a lil boy in Tunapuna RC. And he used to come to all them QRC(Old Boy) matches and functions. Go with the Naster!!!

Deeks from what I heard,  he was actually playing football for some charity event with QRC when he collapsed on the field.  They said it was at  the stadium!!

Men who knew Rolf personally on my FB page...bawl when they heard he just died last Sunday. Massive heart attack......just so!!!

16
We lost all these icons in their own right this weekend.

Rev Paul - Prostate Cancer
Rolf Warner - Massive heart attack
Eulalie James - Cancer (to confirm)
Geraldine O'Conner - pending

May their souls Rest In Peace.

Rest In Peace Pat Bishop.

Your choir is even larger now.  :(

edit:

The Office of the Minister of Planning and the Economy has issued the following statement:
Pat Bishop died today, Saturday August 20, 2011 in the emergency facility of the Port of Spain General Hospital.
She was rushed there by ambulance after succumbing to what has been preliminarily diagnosed as a stroke and heart attack during a meeting of the High Level Expert Panel to Guide the Implementation of Arts, Cultural and Entrepreneurial Projects and the Patriotism Project at the Ministry of Planning and the Economy.

She was 71 years old.

Pat Bishop has spent her life as an artist and as an activist in the creative community in Trinidad and Tobago. She has been from time to time outspoken on issues related to culture and the arts and was one of our most independent thinking  citizens.

All members of the High Level Expert Panel, the Ministry of Planning and the Economy and the Government of Trinidad and Tobago on behalf of citizens of Trinidad and Tobago mourn the passing of this cultural pioneer and leader and extend our condolences to her sister Gillian and the rest of the Bishop family.

Travelling on the London underground the other day during rush hour (most train carriages were full!)

Some tall big boobs older black woman pushed herself into the train carriage I was in which only had a little standing room and pushed her boobs right into my face!

There was not much room & I was almost suffocating but I was too embarrassed to complain & say anything!!
Lucky thing I was coming off next stop or else I could have suffocated!!  :whew:

Should I have gotten annoyed and reported that big boobs black woman to the railway police for sexual assault or should I have just tried to enjoy the ordeal and count my blessings!?  :-\

Then is your fault!  Matter of life and death and you embarrass?  You ain't like yourself nuh!!  ;D

When I start to cuss people in the plant, they does just watch me an smile and sometimes I get the occasional wink.  >:( Nobody does take me serious in the plant anymore, so I just email my thoughts and press <send>

On a positive note, I do get anything I want from the male specimen in the office  ;D

Did you accept the friend request? If you did, then.....hold ya tongue!
I have no one from my company on my page. It will never happen.

I'm slowly moving away from FB and using google +!
Definitely have more control over my settings and circles. And with google + they give you advance notifications of changes, unlike FB when they change the settings to now show your contacts cell phone numbers publicly. Even dem effers you have on block.

Man hadda scamper to un-sync cell phone and shit....steupse!! >:(
