So in fact if we want to go Germany we need to win 3 at least the next 3 game and at least drwa our away play-off game in Asia, so that is four games more to play if we want to go Germany!

We have made it hard for ourselves but the 2006 WC dream for us is still alive if only our team can deliver the points we need!

So win the next 2 in the Hex!
Then win the Asian play-off at home
And draw the Asian play-off away!

Can we do it folks?!!

Even if we win our next 2 games and get our 6 do or die points and end up in 4th place (provided Guatemala doesn't win their last two games as well) we still have to beat the Asian team in the play-off if we want to make the trip to Germany!

Getting to World Cup takes more than hope and prayers, it takes more will and determination than your opponents, blood in your shoes and some luck and at least one upset!!!

Who have we upset yet? We need to upset a team taht is expected to go to the World Cup if we think we deserve to go too!

Lets get real guys we can do it but we need to show that we deserve to go!

Looks to me that if we took our chances we could have walked away from Costa Rica with a point in the bag!! 

Bottom line if we think we deserve to go World Cup we have to take 3 points away in Panama and another 3 points at home in T&T!

From here on only wins will do and if we get 6 more points then we have proven that we deserve the 4th play-off spot which is not a gurantee spot in Germany until we beat the Asian team whoever that might be!

This are hard but not not impossibloe and nothing good comes easy!

Good analyst RF, have to agree with yuh dey!

We need to play for at least a draw in CR and then we should aim to kick Panama's ass in their yard, a difficult but not impossible task!

Additionally Mexico should be qualified by the time we have to play them in our yard in October and we should go all out for a win against them in our last game to secure our spot on the Soca Train to Germany!

I have based my realistic draws on the present form and potential of teams as well as whether they are playing home or away!

Don't forget if T&T plays really well in remaining games we can possible sneak an away win as well and more points could be added to our final tally.

So on balance I believe my possible results are still realistic!!

Final Round seeing us on 12 points and on the way to Germany is hard to achieve but still within our gasp as a team...  What we can't afford to do is not to WIN our reaming home games and we must aim to at least draw our remaining away games. If we steal a road win some where then all the better for us and booking a sdpot on the road to Germany!!

1 point = 8 = 9 points (we not guaranteed a spot in Germany yet!)

T&T 2 Mex 1 (This is another BIG game for us like back in 1989 at home but this time we MUST WIN to guarantee ourselves the 3rd spot on the road to Germany!!)


I believe this scenario is more realistic than the one Anil suggested!!

What allyuh fellas think? I say it will go down to the last game for us so basically if we play well we could be fighting for 3rd spot or 4th play-off place with Asian team!

So to summarise we can do it if our players perform with heart like true Warriors!!

Whether we make it with the help of old men like Russel or not the point is we can make it but we need to want it more than CR, Guat and Panama! USA & Mexico already book they they tickets!

We need 3 points in this game so we must go for a shock win but without losing our defensive organised approach to this game as masterminded by Beenie!

Good counter-attack and scoring all of our chances (Stern hope yuh take ah bush bath!!) will be crucial in this game! If we do that then 3 points is not impossible. Lets hope we can pull out our best performance so far and keep steadily improving! May the hungrier team palying the better football on the day win and lets hope the refereeing is FAIR!! (Is ah Mexican ref. this evening!)

T&T 2 - 1 USA will be a nice result but we need to at least draw this game as a morale boost before having to deal with Guatemala at home!

Doh worry bout Sam, he is mixed-up, I have him sussed longtime!!
In fact nothing Sam says offends me, is like water off a duck's back.
