Would he be able to get in the starting 11 if everyone is available including Molino and Cummings?

33
Our women's development program starting at the grassroots level is far behind USA, Canada, Mexico etc. It's a tough job for any TT coach to qualify us for a big tournament.

34
Alvin coached me for a couple seasons with Coffee Giants, during that time we dominated the southern division. In one of the FA Cup season we lost to the great TRINTOC in a semis re-play at Guaracara park with the likes of Brian W. Clayton, Spann, Philbert Jones etc. playing for TRINTOC.

Alvin has very good soccer knowledge but sitting on a committee sometimes can be difficult as your vision and ideas may not be accepted by others who may not be at your level.

And how many starters we missing?

Hope something can be worked out to participate, it will be excellent exposure for the world to see TT can compete at a high level and our participation will be very motivating for our young players!

I understand lack of preparation can be a result of poor performances, but when you see senior national players in the video making basic defending mistakes that they should have learned as youths it's difficult to accept excuses from poor team defending in the video.

For i.e.
1. Players are slow to close down the ball (ball gazing)
2. No second defender to back up the 1st defender
3. 1st defender diving in and getting beat easy
4. Players seems to not know if they are playing zone defense or man to man, everyone is standing around watching the 1st defender and then reacts to the pass at the last minute.
5. Defending in front your goal the keeper should be the most vocal but it seems that there is 0 communication from all.

39
Seems as EPL clubs scouting are poor. Zidane, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo (the original), Messi, Neymar when these players were picked up before they became great it's very difficult for them to move due to their high value.

40
They should also give best assist, Joevin will definitely be in the running for #1

Mr. Corneal can one of your upcoming article headline to be on the EXCELLENT COACHING JOB BY ONE OF OUR OWN and then you can outline for us using your years of experience covering our national teams the good job you have seen Mr. Hart has done coaching our National team! It will be an interesting article coming from you.

Let say we down in the 2nd half he can be effective coming off the bench as an attacking midfielder. Then again he showed a lack of respect to the coaching staff so unless he man up and apologize he done as we are not short attacking players.

43
Football / Is Keon Daniel available for selection
« on: September 11, 2015, 10:43:04 AM »
A while back when I saw Keon Daniel played he looked like he had the ability to help the national team but somehow things didn't work out with him playing for TT.

I don't know if he improved or regressed but if he is playing, kept his form and is willing to play for TT under coach Hart he should be looked at. Sometimes players mature with age and at 28 he is in his prime.

44
I always say TT have ballers we only needed someone with the knowledge to identify those top ballers and challenge them to play ball.

Can you imagine how advance this team would have been if SH had gotten the financial support to have a few extra camps but was deny due to lack of funds.

I hope gov't and TTFA will step up and provide the $ support to let the coach do his work!

" balance on the field" good point FF.

The problem with the 4-3-3 is defensive transition where players get involve in the attack and can't recover in time. Hart will have his work cut out to teach the team how to play their defensive roles in this system, not at easy task good luck Harty!

The Dutch master of the 4-3-3 and still can't with the big one as they are always good in attack but on the defensive side always concede goals.

Jose and other big managers hardly ever play the 4-3-3 due to fact that its a very very difficult system for players to comprehend transition from attack to defense.

47
Jones " Like every other striker, he needs to get the right final pass" agreed, but at times when he did get the final pass he looked like he didn't know what to do as defenders were on him in a flash.

Friendly advise: Jones at times you have to put your head down fake one-way move into the space and look to try and create a shooting lane, trust me Harty will not be mad at you for trying to be creative he may even help fine tune you if he sees you trying to make something happened.

You is the most experience baller on this team and and as striker at times you have to take the initiative to try to make something happen. Defenders at this level will not give you an inch of space but strikers at this level need at times to try and create that space you is our bread and butter striker bro so just play with confidence!

What about a change to the 3-5-2 I think this may help get the best out of some of our players. Ive seen Jones play for the Fire three times this year and while he is average defending he has played well going forward. By all reports Gomez excelled in the Panama game after moving forward. It also seems that we are really deep at CB right now with Bateau, Williams, Hoyte, Cyrus and maybe even Inniss. It seems that we are still struggling in the midfield so maybe flooding the midfield might help us keep possession. I think this team wouldnt be bad. Ive included DeLeon because of Flex's info that he is interested.

Williams
Cyrus
Bateau
Hoyte
J. Jones
DeLeon
Molino
Hyland
Gomez
Peltier
K. Jones

3 in the back is risky especially with one CB. In transition from attack to defense not always you can get the FB's and DFM's tucking in fast enough to help out the 1 CB. Van Gaal learned fast, since switching back to 4 in the back Man U has more wins. Very few teams fool around with 3 in the back.

"Structure is needed in our national teams. All of them, the juniors, the women and our senior team. We must find defensive methods which will help to win the ball, rather than just hope that the opponents make unforced errors in their passing."

CORNEAL NEED TO SPEND MORE TIME PLEADING TO THE MoS, TTFA & THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY THE IMPORTANCE OF FUNDING THAT IS REQUIRED TO PROPERLY PREPARE OUR NATIONAL TEAMS BEFORE EVEN TALKING ABOUT STRUCTURE AND FINDING DEFENSIVE METHODS!

Half time 1-0 W Connection.

W.C. needs to tighten up the midfield Surinam getting too much space to attack, we lucky that Surinam can't finish.

You only have a short time in life to represent your country don't ever miss out! Also after GC is WC qualifications and every player dream is to represent his country at WC. Later on in life if you know you had the ability to represent your country at WC and you did not go for it trust me it will be your biggest regret.

Keon is a good baller and representing your country will only help to increase his value.

Keon needs to man up, give SH a call and move on.

56
Hart made some good points "too many players are not playing full games, Jamaican players are playing more 90 mins games with their clubs. Players not listening to instructions and doing their own thing like using too many long balls" Good luck to Hart it's a tough job if you can't get the players in camps more often.

I think that some players didn't quite understand their roles in the 4-2-3-1 system when they were under pressure as we had too many big gaps between lines, also switching Molino out wide seems to not have work well, he seems more comfortable in the # 10 role

What going on with this Socawarrior team....why it seem they walking not moving and waiting for a pass.....they can't hold possession....the Cuba hitting the one two and possession more than trini team

Our 2 better attacking ballers on the bench

Maybe Hart could consider using a 3-2-4-1 system.

For example

______________JAN___________
__HOYTE______CYRUS______DAVID
_____BOUCAUD______GEORGE______
_PELTIER__HYLAND____MOLINO____JOEVIN
____________KENWYNE__________

Never liked 3 in the back lot of work for 1 CB. Most teams that tried 3 in the back has failed and had to go back to a 4-man back line.

3 in back can be used in situation when you are going all out for a goal in 2nd half of games

3 in the back does not mean 1 CB. Most coaches who play a 3-5-2 plays the 3 defenders as 3 CBs. The 3 cannot afford to really separate and have to work hard to keep their spacing tight to support each other.

The 3-5-2 can make much more sense in going ultra defensive while still giving us some offensive punch.

Yes, but the 2 CDM have to fully understand their role.

Btw when was the last time a club or country played 3 in the back for an entire major tournament and won??
