I will endorse Spann for our midfield not based on his interview or his divine grace. Not even on why he believe he was left out or not. Or if he feel he is it or not. It would be based solely on his last performance. I have seen him play in the past, and based on his very recent performance his game has improved, and most likely still improving.
Doh I appreciate the interview (thanks guys and Mr. Spann),. It does not mention the fact of his improvement, as a team player. This to me is the most obvious omission, given why he may or may not have been selected for past campaigns. He is growing, and as he states, every person calling is timely, some later than others.
That being said, I hope the Almighty see it fit to let Yokohama, Been and him, to answer what I think should be his next call.

Ponnoxx, let me understand yuh good...
Yuh saying Tousse should make the team before Tiger, because Tousse has more skill, and Tiger don't ?
If that is the case...
Where does Tiger play? - midfield and Tousse? - forward
Does Tousse play midfield?- no Can he? - yes
Does Tiger play forward ? - no Can he? - yes
Do we have many midfielders with skill ? - yes
Do we need more ?- maybe not, depending on the coach strategy, he may need a 'wildman', would be better to get a skilled 'wildman', IF one is available. If you use through balls, passer of the ball will be of concern, or midfielders that create space, then skill will be a concern, or if you have enough of these, you may need a defensive midfielder to win tackles and give to the creative midfielders etc...etc..It all depends on the individual coaches strategy.
Do we need forwards ? - always
How many do you carry? - again depends on strategy. If 2 required (4-4-2.e.g.), 5 might be too much, if 3, then 5-6 may be good, but we can't pick all the forwards available, it depends on if you will be using crosses, then you will need headers of the ball, or if through balls, then require speed, or creativity, forwards who can beat, or maybe forwards who can just shoot...

Now I have never seen Tousse play, so I can't outrightly say what his strengths/weakness are. But each coach would look for something (especially in a tryout)to suite, his style of team formation and strategy. Beeneman has been asked to do this and his approach seems to be, "not what you have done in the past, is what you can do fro me now". So from what he has seen so far, he chose his forwards to suite his plans. and he chose some midfielders. Then when he gets to see the rest, he will choose the best midfielders to suite his plans, not necessary, what one might term the best players mid you, but the best to suite his plans...
or he might re-evaluate his plans and choose a different set of players and leave out players he saw but did not choose int the past (n.b. i used did not choose, as opposed to rejected).

So berating Tiger, for a preference of Tousse should not be an issue, for people on this board. It is not a matter of who better than who, it is a matter of who can play a particular role, within a given structure..
Can either of them replace the other with their respective teams ? - I think not

In that case, Alberta, yuh son, could take ah ting...or yuh doh wha he associating with we....or yuh thinking, it is not fair to ah Trini born, who not stepping up, and yuh son who want to stepup has to take the shaft, and the team has to take the shaft, because you finding it ain't fair for ah non-trini-born to do the wuk......
If yuh doh mind a lil advice from the top goal scorer and Top beer-boy of this newly formed National B(eer) team...Leh yuh son come through, his father's country need him, I whether forward any one of my 5 buh dey doh drink, dat is why ah does have to hold down so much, have to keep up d family name...one ah d little ones (8 reading right now "from columbus to castro - the history of the caribbean 1492-1969 by Eric Williams".
Alberta, I never read that. when ah tell her dat, she start to tell meh bout the Colonialist and why we dress like we do....blah..blah..
And is not that she super bright or good student...she jus want to know all she can of her parents country, and yuh know when she would be going there? Whenever we can afford to take 6 of us there, which would probably mean when she is an adult...

So for we team sake, let the youth come thru nah, we need young legs to run to dah corner store quick..Coach cyar send you with yuh old foot, and dem true trini youths to big for that, dem wha be assistant and VP position an thing, and how much money dey making....is dem distant others willing to do what is necessary, to just be part of the ting, and really contribute.

I’m not saying we don’t have talented players I’m just saying if Adu was a Trini every body would be hailing the new king the kid is good even if he 17 his vision ball control and his ability to use both feet put him in a different class it don’t matter where he was born or who he plays for the kid is good

I hear yuh...buh what I saying is ..yes Adu is good (special even)...I saying if we had equal oppurtunities , or more direct, equal attitudes towards development, we could most likely produce a few Adus (or Adues ???)...Our bigest problem is us, we can eventually produce the individuals as training and nuturing awareness improve, and I think it is in that process now...football is a team game though....and that has been our major obstacle...that is where attitudes, and exchanging respect with team-mates, opposing players, coaches, confidants, supporters, a mix, as opposed to an individual, plays what may be as far as we and team sports are concerned , a major role....like some fellas say...dah's is wha make WE we...Our individuality, our uniqueness, our ability to stand alone, and withstand any environment, our ability to achieve as individuals...our society preps us for it....

6245
yea, buh he ent US either, so...an he playing for dem....so wha wrong with we, we have equally good youths, always had... buh yuh doesn/t know, improper attitude & future training/development, regressive sport environment, disruptive friends and peers, ignorant and selfish parents, abusive & insulting SUpporters...make every potential pearl, just want to stay in dey shell....thankfully few stepup...
Hurrah all T&T representatives...dah includes you Dwight, please doh mess we up again

no joke FF...trini blood line, yuh tink...dah is same fadder, boy..grands doh count >:(

6247
Sub1, I think I understand ! buh ah could be wrong...no need for exposure bredda, keep it covered  ;)
Look, I'm jus saying it is always easier to cast blame...than provide solutions and/or commit to what seems like solutions...

Yuh could blame blame JW for bring back BSC...yuh could blame TTFF for allowing JW to assume so much control...yuh could blame the T&T Gonv. for giving the run of Football to TTFF...yuh could blame the people of T&T for letting the Govn. do that....etc...etc...all the way back to colonialist ...all the way back....

Yuh always find someone to blame....more difficult to suggest/find solvers, and thus I have full respect for those that attempt to solve...i.e. People...govn..TTFF...JW...BSC....BSC....and You....

but we have moved on to the next phase, not necessary to dwell...whether you had exposed BSC or not...he is gone....if you must expose, help we expose Panama, Mexico, Guatamala, US, and Costa Rica, that is the job required now...if yuh can't, or mistaken, nobody wouldn't hold it against yuh...

Do you think that the coach should at least have an earlier  idea of who will be his final players would be aganust Panama and at least have them play together as a unit for a couple of warm ups?

This way the palyers  have a dequate tim to adjust to each other and to develop aflow for the game

How he coulda get a earlier idea Alberta? He never see the players play together. Obviously the one he could have seen play together before, the ones on the tapes nah, wasn't working...dah is why dey give him the job...so where dis idea was coming from divine revelation? We had plenty ideas, for the last few years, and when it didn't work, we blame the coach tactics, lack of subbing etc...if Been don't have an idea which players would suit his tactic, then he doing his  job, by checking out d guys. No? If it doesn't work (Peru team/Salavador), then he will know he is using the wrong tactic to suit the guys and opposition. He will den have to re-evaluate tactics, and players to suit Panama...dat is the difficulty of the job.....he basically getting 1 shot to get things right (Panama), and if a miss, hope for a richochet from the miss to hit Guatamala.....Do you disagree ? or misunderstand?

6250
so, yuh supporting now sub1. or still fighting down past? den while we at it, lehwe cuss up dem people for enslaving we forefathers and bringing dem to the caribbean. Buh wait......if dey didn't do dat, it wouldnah have no Trinidad or Tobago or maybe no Caribbean...hmmmnnn...it wouldnah have no we....cuss dem anyway, dah way worse dan football......

Yuh have to drink 20.833333 % of every case yuh serve, and sometimes dem man wha open 2 case same time an ting..So yuh have to remember to count.
Las match one ah meh asst. in Baltimore run orf with the money an come back with a bottle ah Cockspur, the patrons drink it, and den ah had to beg for de man, bout how he ent bring back Oak....ah had to fire he yes..
So people management skills very important..

I hope it's not to little to late
Not personal on U Cowen

Yuh know, I hearing many people making that statement...What if it is to late? Would things be done differently knowing that? Wha, we eh go play no games, pick no team, drop out the competition? Find ah nex scapegoat coach?
Who doh want out, "eat your biscuit and shut your mouth"
This is the road chosen, this is the road we will go down.... forget bout what ifs and maybes'. If we don't make it, we don't make it. Wha the hell late or earlier have to do with anything. "Cyar have yuh cake and eat it too"
Been have to do it, if he don't. We in the same boat we have always "been". So what is the big calamity?

We going down so. If we don't make it. Been gone, we find a nex scapegoat, and go again, or we find a next coach and continue trying.
Are we warriors or wusses... Well get d fXXk up leh we go den !
who want to lie down on this site and hold dey head an bawl, start now, Who ready to face adversity, no matter how many times is come, to eventually truimph ...... Come with me, dah is the road I looking for...

Players was so good back den, coaches was so good back den, look wha we come to...how the hell we never make it before den?
USA, Jamaica, and Haiti (doh dey thief) were always more supportive, of their athletes than we...We biggest sport fans is the athletes/Coaches real  immediate families and friends, to everybody else he is a shithound and somebody else should be dey....well to hell with dat, I supporting whoever they send to represent meh....even if he is the biggest shithound to everybody else....

All kinda big shit talk bout not settling for mediocrity, and crticism and ting....allyuh just "Lying down in the road and bawlin"... If we lose a practice game to the women team I supporting... Yeah, I is ah Mook so....everybody else is a rocket scientist, SAY WHAT

Patriot and Cowens's next. It is clear doh, that NE stars played quite well, and outshone the national selection. As stated, I am not surprised.
