If my chile born in america I will encourage him to play for america, especially if he does not grow up in TnT.

for the same reason I would never try to rep america if I had the chance I would always chose TnT.

Football / Blacks say he would have score 2 with the left
« on: October 13, 2005, 07:55:52 PM »
Alyuh remember what Stern did say.

He said that Blacks " mickey trotman" told him in a dream that he would score 2 with the left versus mexico.

And guess what it come to pass.

the first goal and the second goal were both off stern left foot.

The only thing is he should have show more faith and kick the penalty with the left ;D

Big Truck bago I watch the match man you make some good saves.

that second goal you get make you look bad but he catch you with that one not much you could have do.

How the game end up Sunday?

couple things I would suggest

talk a longer run up with your kicks you will put less presure on your legs

stop that 2 steps off your line thing you like to do on every cross it makes it seem like you indeciseive with cross balls

I think alyuh team could have done a lil better if you went out for the game but some men on the side lacking touch, but they have good speed.

That ex metro stars man is real pressure
he hot alyuh up

but all in all i looking for you next year

good luck

GPS dont have the resolution for such short distances.

it would require a localized satillite system to perform this task.

I think the beauty of football is that the poorest football team and the richest football team abide under the same rules.

if you start needing tv replay and thing the rules at different levels become different

Football / Transition is one of our Big Problems in Attack
« on: September 12, 2005, 07:54:03 PM »
when we win the ball we too slow to surge forward and take advantage.

In modern football that is when goals are scored by winning the ball and moving quickly into attack .

In the CR game we we having good possesion but with 8 men behind the ball we could not break them down. The long cross to stern not working.

Our defense is holding strong but once we win the ball our build up is too slow so we not getting behind the defense.

I think we will beat Panama no matter what but to beat mexico our transition game will have to improve.

Good teams are hard to break down once you let them set up
Mexico is a good team

« on: September 12, 2005, 07:49:04 PM »
These men and them on this site football Dotish Nothing wrong with leaving the left wing open if we have no left winger.

That is what we did for the second half versus Guatemala Latas move from the left to the middle and we did not really play with a left winger. That is what I mean by leave it Open.

Of course if the side attacking through the left side a central mid will have to slide out to tackle but we need not play witha man out there if there is no one to play effectively there.

Football / Beenie Man Cost we that Costa Rica Game
« on: September 11, 2005, 04:08:35 PM »
we should have never go with a 3-5-2 but I guess his hand was forced based on who was available.

He should have leave Spann as Right Back and leave the left wing free, it is no big deal to play one sided because we have no left side penetration anyways.

We look solid otherwise
Cox not to blame for the goal alone.

Whitley loose the ball and fail to tackle the man.
Spann Tackle the man with he right foot on the left side and fail to chase back.
Cox get leave out yes

but the Tallman get caugth facing his own goal and Dog let the man beat him to the ball again.

This is the 3rd game in a row a side score on we with a ball rolling across the six
Bennie man need to address this shit.

when man attacking the byline

A defender must mark the First post area to cut off any low cross.

Like we forget that.

In addition Jack need to be pointing this out to the defenders and have better command of the six yard box.

Ball constantly rolling across we six yard Box What kind of nonsense is that.

If Shaka or Ince get some playing time with they club they should be recalled Jack is doing a good Job but we have 2 other capable keepers and we should give them a chance as well.

Jack aint keeping no clean sheet so is no big deal to give a next man a try.

Once we keep this form we will beat up on Panama.

They will come hard but if we score early they go give up nothing to fight for.

I really aint see Costa Rica beating Guatemala on the road so we go be in for some problems

Once we beat Panama and Mexico beat Guatemala
I like we odds going into the last game .

If Guatemala need to go out for a win Costa Rica should be able to hit them on the break.

St Clair was sacked as coach of the team after a 5-1 defeat to Guatemala in the first round, but was allowed to coach the team in its goalless home draw with Costa Rica at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

The man get fired after the 5-1 loss but they still let him coach the team,

And alyuh does call me a mad man.

Is mad people running football in Trinidad you fire a man and then tell him go and coach?

That is what the assistant is for! to stand in the itermin until they new coach come

Football / America Squad to face Guatemala
« on: September 06, 2005, 10:04:37 AM »
Keller not going so GK is a weakspot right they.

They defense also look suspect But Midfield and Forward still strong.

Guatemala does play real hard at home but I think they could get a cut arse.

They key thing is that most of these men playing for they world cup pick so expect them to put out a good show.

If America loss this game I done support them for a while.

If we did cut they ass on Ash Wednesday with Tiger Score that goal al now so we in a must better position!

ROSTER BY POSITION
Goalkeepers (2) – Marcus Hahnemann (Reading FC), Matt Reis (New England Revolution)
Defenders (6) – Chris Albright (Los Angeles Galaxy), Jimmy Conrad (Kansas City Wizards), Nick Garcia (Kansas City Wizards), Frankie Hejduk (Columbus Crew), Chad Marshall (Columbus Crew), Greg Vanney (FC Dallas)
Midfielders (6) – Chris Armas (Chicago Fire), Bobby Convey (Reading FC), Clint Dempsey (New England Revolution),  Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado Rapids), Santino Quaranta (D.C. United), Steve Ralston (New England Revolution)
Forwards (4) – Jeff Cunningham (Colorado Rapids), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy), Eddie Johnson (FC Dallas), Taylor Twellman
(New England Revolution)

Football / Re: To D Tacticians - What formation we really use in that game?
« on: September 06, 2005, 06:45:50 AM »
I think it is not the formation but rather the Roles of the Players.

First Half (Attacking)

Latapy Role was to Try to attack down the Inside left Chanel
Yorke and Stern Was to attack the box for the crosses
Carlos and Spann was to provide attack wide right

Birchald and Whitley was to hold the middle and spread the play.

Defensively

Yorke role was to get back in the middle to help out with Latapy just loafing and not provide any defensive support.
Stern role was to stay on the last man.

Second half

Scotland was given the go ahead to attack down the left Channel with Latapy moving forward a bit.

Yorke replace whitley in the Holding Midfield role in support of Birchald.

late in the game Yorke droped deep because it had more space in the back and he took the responsibily to play accurate long balls from the back.

latapy was given the freedom to go central and try to play just behind stern.

The one criticizm I have of Bennie man was that Both Scotland And Sealy and Stern was all clogging up the forward line. All of them are inside forwards and at times it looked as we was clogging the attacking third and not able to penetrate.

But that was all he had on the bench.

This game was calling out for a attacking wing player who have speed and crossing ability.

A man like Josh Johnson would have open up the game for us with speedy attacking play on the wing.

Carlos crossing is very poor of late and he not getting Byline.
We have no left winger.

A wing attacker like Leonson in his days would help this team immensly.

We might need to switch Carlos and Spann because Spann look more capable at getting past defenders and getting to the by line.

Atiba Charles look very good in terms of getting up the field as well making overlapping runs in the first CR game and the Panama match.

Football / Re: Artificial surface in Costa Rica?

they have been playing all there games there.

this is an experimental thing by Fifa they have one if these fields in mexico.

it is they new grass-like turf

60
it was clear that them men and them did give up on bertile you could see it on they face and you could see it on  Bertile face, he look lost on the bench.

Some Key things I see is that Pierre will slot in nicely on left back for avery, he adds good composure and steel to we back line.

Atiba also play good in them 2 game and we should give him another chance. not because a man play shit in one games mean we should drop him.
