Watch Real Gill fellas. Boss player.

Time to phase off on Marvin Phillip, Joevin and Adrian Foncette, them fellas to old. And Hackshaw to slow for today's game, not a bad player thou.

We have Gold Cup, Caribbean Cup, WC and Copa America to play for. Doh blow it Eve.

Believe in de youths.
Nobody could convince me that's how Hackshaw is built. He's definitely overweight!

Eve needs to shut up about foreign born players and the rule that narrows our pool. It's not as if he's gonna pick them anyway. He's still chatting bs about developing players locally when the league is dead and he's got a competition in 2 months.

Is angus scouting in the diaspora ?
Let's be honest here. Eve will NEVER scout in the diaspora. He will NEVER make an approach to any player, they have to approach.
Just in England there is Dion Pereira, Jacob Bedeau and Ryan Innis. He moans about lack of a number 9 but there's Daniel Carr in Ireland who can't get a look in  but that's ok so he can play with a false 9 and/or use Levi up top.
Joke ting!

Eve will never pick players like Luke Singh, Ryan Ince, Dion Perreira, Rory McKenzie or Malcolm Shaw. He's also never going to pursue any potential players who haven't reached out, he's never going to try to convince them it's worthwhile to play for TNT. He always moaned about local players just as good enough as foreign born or those playing outside TNT. He already said he only picked players he worked with before.
He also followers a Bertille St. Clair philosophy where fitness, determination and will trump skill. Marry that with the former and you'll see what he's on about and the results will be. He'll stick with this squad and try get through this group. And if he does progress his ego will not allow him to pick any better players to press on. We will get shown up sooner rather than later.

She called time on her international career in defence of her friend and teammate Maylee. It sends the wrong impression if Jones goes to her. It has to be the other way around, she needs to make the approach to him and maybe they can forge a professional relationship moving forward. Plus the coach is in charge, he has to make decisions based on the group rather than an individual.
Plus these two have a history of falling out with management and administrators, from Carolina to DJW now Jones. They may have genuine issues but if leaves a bitter taste if you're always the constant in these disputes.
I know they gave blood, sweat, tears over the years but I simply can't side with them in this.
Jones must stand firm!

I was hesitant at first but I paid and it's a good stream.
Levi is clearly head and shoulders above the rest of players. Built like a proper athlete. I can see why AEK took a chance on his lil bro Judah too. He's having a decent game. Telfer the usual workhorse and so is fortune. Could do with seeing Hackshaw and Archer in the 2nd half.
Need a better partner in the centre of defence for Aubrey. Moses ain't cutting it, too many misplaced passes.
Could say more but it's definitely a work in progress and a good place to start.
What I'm not happy about is that we weren't even offered a squad list ie starting lineups.
Disgusting oversight imo.

Like  many players there comes a time when yuh shelf life  reaches an expiry date-  Its not that the players were not valued but I think the game and the direction is changing.

To be perpetually  keep on recycling players and hoping for success  is the manifestation of a deeper issue  that being the lack of adequate player development or national programs  to feed  into our national teams.

If you look at the men's friendly- you saw evidence of players whose better days are behind them and  in games like this when the stakes are low why not expose younger players to garner  valuable experience?

In the matches thus far, I would  surmise that the impact of these two did not change the games outcome significantly nor do I see  the omission of them moving forward as detrimental to future success.
Thanks for the years of service but we need a revamp.
💯💯

Not sure what's gone on here but in the last 2 games Maylee was absolutely useless. She's been great but at this point she won't be missed on the pitch.

Define or refine that.

In a game on a team that was poor but had some good indivual glimpses and touches she was non existent. She's spent force.

It's possible to get. It might be easier if one of the parents gets a TT passport first.

Do you personally know of anyone who get a passport without having at least one Trini-born parent? Is T&T so anything could happen, but according to the law, one of the parents must be born in T&T.

Yes I do. In fact she played for TT in the u17 world cup. Her grandfather did not give up his TT citizenship when he became a Canadian citizen. Her father was born in Canada. I can't remember the full story. I believe the family moved back to TT when the father was a toddler. Then they returned to Canada when he was 9 or 10. He does have a TT passport. And his daughter played for TT u17 world cup.

Was it Rose Bahadursingh, Diarra Simmons, Nykosi Simmons, or Emma Abdul?
Andre Gray at Watford got his Jamaican passport via his grandad even though he had died.

« on: July 11, 2021, 09:08:44 AM »
Those criticising the tactics and comparing it to the back to back draws when SH was in charge are clueless about football.
We were coming up against a team that would have scouted us; lots of our players were unattached, lots in lower leagues; short of vital match fitness, and fatigued after the games vs FG Montserrat compared to Mexico.
He surprised them with his tactics, formation and personnel. You could see them trying to deliberately breakdown our right back Jones. Again the either saw him as a weak link based on their scouting or their strong side. We defended and they couldn't beat us to high balls over the top, we were taller than them, they play their balls on the pitch and try to break the lines. They couldn't get through the lines as if was so congested so the tried to pull it back and have a shot but MP was brilliant.
I was surprised in the 2nd half that they didn't try anything different and then Eve hit them by bringing in fresher legs and changed the system again to hit them on the counterattack. It almost worked too but Moore lost his composure.
Then guys executed the game plan brilliantly and played with pride and heart.
Big up allyuh self fellas. Well done!

Tactical masterclass by Eve. He knew they would have scouted his team so changed formation and personnel. Mainly defenders in the 1st half with 5 at the back. Mexico saw RB Jones as a weak link (or their left as a strength) and targeted him but he stood firm. The offensive subs and team structure in the 2nd half made sense too.
Must give Eve props here. Did proper homework!

Again JJ is a mere passenger, playing very safe, all his passes are backwards, not running at players as he used to. I guess he's at the end of his tether and playing it safe and committing to club football now. 🤷🏾‍♂️

His dad lost his birth paper and doesn't seem interested in getting it, hence he cannot get a passport, Nick wants to play for us.
So can someone else help him in getting his birth paper or does it have to be his dad? I'm not sure how that works.
All he needs to do is get an affidavit. Go to court and swear that is you basically.
My cousin's mum did it!

ttsportdiary

Good news for the Garcia camp as sources have indicated to us that 20-year old Judah Garcia has gotten intense interests from four top clubs in the world. After the former Shiva Boys’ star’s contract ended with Indian Club Neroca Fc on April 1st, the likes of top flight Portuguese clubs Benfica and Sporting along with two of the Greek giants - Olympiacos and AEK Athens - are all in talks/negotiations for the midfielder.

Garcia’s older brother, Levi, also plays for AEK Athens and the next coming days/weeks will be interested to see how this development plays out.

#ttsportdiary
He's not going to get any playing time with those clubs at his age he needs to go to a club were he's going to get playing time.
Geez, you must be fun at parties.
How will he/we ever know if he doesn't try? It's not like if any of these clubs are in the top 5 leagues across Europe.
They certainly aren't TT Pro League or the Indian League.

1. Withdrawing my support if Man Utd is a part of the proposed European Super League.
2. That means cancelling my subscription, not watching games and chucking my shirt.
3. European football is based in the communities and is for the fans.
4. Americans who buy European teams treat it like a franchise as they would sports teams in the USA. They have no allegiance to the fans or the community.
5. This is the height of greed. Absolute money grab
6. Tottenham is no doubt a massive team in England but hasn't won the league or any substantial trophy in decades. Not a top 6 club
7. Arsenal like Man Utd are underachieving
8. Man City like Tottenham is a big club in their city. No worldwide appeal, as they've only been recognised since becoming the Abu Dhabi club.
9.Fiorentina Perez is a slimeball who has been jealous and moaning about the PL television rights which made so called small teams in UK having as much financial clout as so called Big clubs in spain
10 Barcelona are almost broke because of their wage bill.
11. Real Madrid, though not as bad financially as Barca have a large wage bill too.
12. Uefa are damn right to ban players from World competitions and national teams if they play in that shit.
13. Big up Bruno Fernandes for expressing his disapproval by saying "dreams can't be bought"
14. More players need to speak up!
15. Big up Bayern Munich for refusing the slime

Molino the crack egg, he’s never around when we really need him.....no fault of his of course, what else can I say.
Spot on here mate but I'm not even bothered this time. Good chance to see if we can rope in Mckenzie at Kilmarnock. He plays the very same position. 🤷🏾‍♂️

If getting a passport is involved, see him next GC.
Haha I can't even doubt you here pal.
It's typical, the incompetence in our administration in TnT, no matter who's there, it's the same problems 🤦🏾‍♂️
Well if a man could live out 27 years of he life and never see it fit to apply for a T&T passport..I ent go really toss that whole egg in the basket you throwing it into bro. Men does want you to bow and kneel to dem.
The Jamaicans don't seem to have a problem with who has a passport at that age or not. And they have more options that us. Why should that be an issue now. What should be important is that he wants it now and we want it - mutually agreed situation.
His grandmother was the one born in TnT apparently, he's clearly never been so why would he have grand designs of getting a TnT passport before when he clearly had plans of making the Scotland squad (which he's said in an interview 5/6 years ago).
Again if he's available, get him, we need all the personnel we an get!

I liked George - kept it simple, broke up plays, read the game well and was strong in the tackle even though he had a small frame. I remember Hart even saying he was the only one of the bunch he believed had a style that would suit playing in Europe.
Good luck to him wherever his future takes him, football or otherwise.

Lastly...who the hell is QUESI WESTON!??! How I never hear bout he?? Granted from the FB video it look like he playing in some 2nd Division Turkish league, but the man big and strong and -- from all appearances -- have a friggin cultured left-foot??

Oh that reminds me...umm Boatswain was hiding in plain sight from Hart? Oh is only just now that he start displaying this talent?

Quesi Weston played as a goalkeeper on the T&T U-17 and U-20 teams. He was also a goalkeeper and forward for Shiva Boys. Then he went on a scholarship to Wiley College. He is now playing in the Turkish Regional Amateur League which is the fifth tier of Turkish football.

Jamille Boatswain is only now breaking out after moving from Point Fortin Civic FC to Defence Force.
Yo Tallman
What's up with Quesi? Googled him and I think he's now in Cyprus if I'm not mistaken. We need a proper centre forward and he fits the bill although I know we've got Rundell Winchester and obviously the inform Akeem Garcia.

Doncaster Rovers played Charlton Athletic today and the game just finished. Both Ryan Inniss and John Bostock played the full 90 minutes. Charlton won 1-0
Inniss returned to the starting line up today for Charlton after almost 3 months out with an injury and the had been on a bad run while he was out.
Both teams played a 4-3-3 formation which is what TnT plays so they can fit in to the style TF is trying to play.
We damn well need a Centre back (Inniss) and a creative midfielder (Bostock).

Hopefully we can get them for the June game. Both clubs end their seasons on 8th May. So the TTFA, Terry, Sports Ministry, National Security, TT High Commission in UK all have ample time to talk, work out availability, passports, training schedules etc with them and other eligible players that we damn well need.

Hah check my forum logo - watched it myself and thought they'd both do a job in the Trini squad. I imagine Innis ain't interested due to his dad, but who knows....
Yeah ah seeing you're a supporter.
Didn't see the game but caught the highlights.
He's a big lad man
Googled him and found out he's 6'5

Yea he's a proper bruiser, traditional centre back.
A welcome addition I would say

Football / Re: Terry Fenwick Thread.
« on: April 02, 2021, 07:35:54 AM »
From what I've seen....Fenwick brings a lot of perspiration but little organization or structure.

He wants intensity, deep pressing, hustle, from his teams.   These are good things.

He doesn't seem however to be able to have any sort of organisation or structure in any third of the field.   He eschews the technical in favour of effort and graft.

In other words....what you would expect of a stereotypical English coach.

I agree somewhat, he's a self proclaimed admirer of Terry Venables.
Plus all Bertille St. Clair's team played like that. The structure to them was secondary to man management, pace, power, pressing and supreme fitness. If you listen to the Burdie and Barney podcast when asked about his preferred formation he Bertille couldn't say. He said something akin to Get it, Give it and something else is his philosophy.
Marcelo Bielsa  uses a similar idea everywhere he goes and now at Leeds. He loves a 4-3-3 formation with a high, relentless press.
Look at what Terry did when he came to TnT, he shook up the whole league with that style.
If Terry gets the players with that level of fitness he can impress i think but I believe it's a tough one with the national team at the minute.
Fingers crossed

Yeah but does that style of football fit our players and will it produce results for us?

Last time I checked, Leeds placed out of the top 10 ...

This just clearly shows you know little to nothing about football.
Mate, you come on here just spouting bile at everyone if they have a different opinion to you.
Yet you don't know that Leeds was only promoted to the Premier League after 16 years in the Championship and League 1 in the current 2020/2021 season
So you are dead wrong that they "placed out of the top 10", when in fact this is just there 1st season back and they are currently 11th in the table with 9 games to go. This is a great standing for any newly promoted team especially one with no big money spends.
Under Bielsa they play an a stereotypical attacking brand with a high press all synonymous with him.
Hart isn't coming back, get over it!
