I get what Coops is saying. Jamaica is tinkering on bankrupcy and I read recently that things are so bad they're selling bread by the slice!!!

God speed to the youth. From what I know working in health care, this isn't a death sentence and it's highly possible he makes a speedy recovery and returns to football. My prayers go out to him!

@banter Banton, I like your team (4-2-3-1) except for the fact that that David is injured and doubtful

Is John Bostock still interested in playing for TnT? Had a look at one of his league games in Belgium and he looked ok to me. Love the selections though. Very solid team and it seems like we're going out to win it and not just compete which is commendable.

For the life of me I didn't expect a reply strewn with racist undertones by JC. No need for that type of language or behavior!!

I think most people i.e. bloggers and otherwise (myself included) are a bit despondent and dejected following the manner of defeat last Friday BUT are hoping for an improvement tonight to raise spirits. These players gotta understand that they have to earn the respect of the fans after the past few years in the wilderness. We've always produced an abundance of talent and these guys are no different...BUT TONIGHT, TONIGHT DEY HADDA SHOW SOME HEART!!!!!!!!! Might be too little too late but we hadda start somewhere!!
When we qualified for the 2006 World Cup black, white, indian, chinese and syrian Trinbagonians come together and was dancing, eating and drinking together. Ah even see Manning shake Jack hand. GO FIGURE...

Only a convincing victory that guarantees us a place in the quarter-finals will suffice me, after that inept display on Friday night. I also notice there's no activity on TTFA webite or FB page. I guess they're aware of the public anger and working to make things right. I really hope so :frustrated:

STEUPS!!!! but what's done is done. The definite changes for Honduras (IMO and any right-minded person) are:
1. Cyrus for Hoyte
2. A.David for J.Jones
3. and of course Boucaud for Theobald.

« on: July 01, 2013, 06:18:49 AM »
@fishs, This all started because Sam produced the above article about Iniesta assisting his childhood club financially and wondered out loud if Yorke/Lara ever did remotely such. I asked already and I'll reiterate now, have you ever wondered how St. Clair's Coaching School (Dwight Yorke's childhood club run by his mentor) has survived for over 30 years with no help from sponsors or government handouts??!!

471
110% behind this!!

"Thomo , I live in Arima, come see me and bring yuh tanty.

Nothing you say making f00cking sense to me, you talking up in yuh ass hole.

I wouldn't expect anyone go stand up and see they sister suffer in de first place.

If you want to talk civilze then talk, but you talking like yuh eat f00cking baggie for breakfast."

Sorry but my "tanty" and other members of my family are respectable people. Somehow you never got around to answering how Bertille St. Clair's Coaching School has been able to operate without sponsors or government assistance for over 30 years. No I didn't have "baggie" for breakfast but I've had "bhaji" quite a few times before. It's a Trini delicacy that's rich in iron, vitamin C & A, calcium.
Kinda rich you wanting to "talk civilze" (sic) now when all you ever do is swear and curse!!

@Sam, I'm from Tobago. Where the hell were you when Yorke's childhood friend needed surgery??!! did you help, know of or offer assistance or aid??!! No he fitted the bill!!! When his sister had cancer, did you know of that and did you help??!! No he did!!!! Have you ever known Bertille St. Clair go wanting for anything. All these years without any government assistance his coaching school has been operating. Go figure, you trolling runt who thinks he's some bastion of truth and rights. You come on here everyday running your mouth on people that you know little about so you make ludicrous assumptions that are baseless at best.
You have even insulted the good citizens of TnT calling us backward and third world. You apparently live in the great USA. When that American guy with the 132 lb testicle couldn't afford health care to get it removed and tried getting donations to have it removed his welfare benefits were taken away. If it wasn't for a doctor who heard about his plight and did it for free he would have died on the street with the "GREAT USA" unwilling to help. Who's third world and backward now??!!

474
@socalion. Respect due to you. He's also a cousin of MY cousin i.e. he's my aunt's husband's nephew (work it out lol) TBH, considering his nature, I won't be surprised if he keeps up with this site. Another example is when he came home to play for TnT and had visa issues getting back to the USA, it was the club that gave an explanation not a sound from the kid. He was in TnT and no-one ever heard or saw from him.

Keon Daniel is an extremely reclusive person. He isn't even on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social network and almost never does interviews. This guy lost his parents at a young age and was taken under the wing of Bertille St.Clair who assisted in harnessing his talent. Haven't some of you guys stopped to think that this might be a reason why he shuns the limelight and immerses himself in football? He had some personal issues, made a mistake during the Digicel Cup and refused to answer the calls of the TTFA while he dealt with it internally. Which when he did resurface admitted it was the wrong way to handle things and he apologised to the Charles/Shabazz. Yet, some of you wouldn't let it go and still claim that he's disrespectful and "should have his head sorted out". Some even suggested that he be blacklisted. Come on better than that fellas. I even got a bro from Lambeau, Tobago (where Keon's from) who lives UK now and de man telling me could count on one hand how many words he hear come from Keon's mouth in all de time he see de youth growing up. He all he did was play football!! Go figure!!

This looks way better than the last one IMO, which I always thought that much effort or creativity was not put into the design. This looks fresh and up-to-date.

@justcool, sometimes I wonder why coache even bothers to comment on anything on this forum. Always negative. Sometimes I give him the benefit of the doubt when he starts off but his negativity gets the better of him and back to square one. As he put it "same khaki pants". I understand and respect constructive critique but coache is too much sometimes.
