@AB.Trini Apparently Keon explained the reason for his bizarre behavior to the technical staff was that he was having personal and professional issues with his club and ultimately refused to speak to anyone at the time. He admitted his actions were unacceptable and apologized to the TTFF. That's why he was allowed back into the fold!

@Elan, TBH they're Thai, I'm not sure they would have taken lightly to the fact of their nationality being referred to as Chinese or chinee. It's similar to someone referring to us Trinis as Jamaicans or Bajans implying we're from the same region so we're all one and the same!

@Fyzoman I spoke to Shabazz and he was the one that gave me that no answer. Did you expect him to actually tell me the internal runnings (i.e. upcoming matches that probably hadn't been finalized yet) of the TTFF on a flight to London?? I am no defender of the TTFF but simply tryna put things into perspective. Anymore questions??

@Fyzoman Ok I understand you got a real beef with Shabazz because of the coup. I (and almost everyone I know)certainly detest Bakr, Shabazz and the members of the Jamaat for what they did to our country but let's stick to the issue at hand which is football and the TnT team. He's the co-head coach at the minute and let's judge him on this forum in that capacity. Hutson Charles was a soldier in the insurrection and even he has to be objective in his partnership with Shabazz, let's try and do the same!!

@Fyzoman I was the one who asked him if there was a game coming up and he said no. The reason I asked him about a game (in Europe)was because I was on a flight with him to London and he had a few players who I recognised. He answered no but he was accompanying the guys on their trial in Turkey. They were all Caledonia AIA players, Trini and Guyanese to be specific. I can't understand why you are so aggitated because you can't understand how a friendly match was organized without your knowing and implying that Shabazz is a liar?? With the info I have now supplied could you please explain your displeasure.

he wasn't only with TnT players only but also a couple Guyanese. I doubt very much that TTFF will pay for foreigners to have trials abroad. I know you guys have the TTFF under the microscope given its past history(I do too) but it does sound a bit far-fetched to imply that they'll pay for that trip. C'mon don't let your hatred of TTFF cloud your good judgement!

I was on the flight to From Trini to London with Shabazz which was the beginning of his journey to Turkey. I recognized Guerra, Theobald and others and asked him if they had a match coming up. His answer was no but the guys had a trial and he was just accompanying them. They were all Caledonia AIA players so he probably had a vested interested in them. That said I am more than likely to believe that he paid for the trip rather than the TTFF as some here are asking and/or might be implying.

Sounds good but it's the ability to implement it is where we seem to fail. IMHO:
(1)we need a strong FA with proper policies and procedures; we gotta revise and improve the little ones we have already. Treat the players with respect and not pawns as the last administration.
(2)A players union is also necessary to keep the FA in check and have the players interests at heart. (3)Players also need to take stock of themselves i.e. mentally & physically and any other way that is commensurate with a footballer/sportsman. Have to look after their health and nutrition 24/7 and not just wait for a competition. Scouts are present at these Cups!!!!
(4)Players should carry themselves as role models (no matter if they like it or not) cause they will be in the spotlight and will be expected to behave as decent upstanding members of the public.

@Firebrand yeah, Guerra needs a few more games to reach his peak. Supreme technical ability but it needs fine tuning and he could go far. He could do well with the same agent as Molino and Peltier to see if he can get a bligh in Slovakia

Just what TnT needs as defensive cover in the middle of the park but time and time again he's treated shabbily by the powers that be. I reiterate he should be made captain if we get out this group and progress to the Gold Cup. His never-say-die attitude on the pitch would rub off on those around him. When will someone have the balls to call him up ASAP when available??!! We aren't what we think we are, the type of football we think we can play will get us more humiliation when opposed to tougher, higher ranked opposition!!!!

@Fyzoman not sure if race is the reason why he's not being picked but the team surely does need him and his "man-of-steel" attributes. I would be surprised to think that people harbor such feelings against a man that's given his all for TnT football but then again fools do exist. The same people would be pissed if a white person called them n***er SMDH  .Personally, I'm such a fan of him that I believe that he should be ascended to team captain. I also wish to see Boucaud and the youth from Watford FC called up but hey that's just me.

@ Sando, you hit the nail on the head. When you compare Yorke' experiences and what happened to Gay, the attitude by Gay was poor when he decided to leave. I watched an interview about Yorke and his journey in UK and he literally fought for his place on that Aston Villa team. Got a friend who is Villa supportor and he was saying to me that in Yorke's early days he was known for his work ethic especially after training had finished. Said to me that legend has it he took a bet that he could do a few hundred keepy-uppies in a bin after training...and he won it!!! Hopefully/Thankfully Gay has learned from his mistakes and uses them to gain success in future!!

I agree with Sam but would like to add Dale Bennett, the youth from Watford FC who wants to play for us. We need as much quality defenders who play in respectable leagues. No disrespect to the one's who play in TnT but when they get to opposition outside the Caribbean they are shown up for what they are i.e. seriously below par to quality opposition and cant hack it. Personally I believe we should follow the example set by Beenhakker i.e. solid defending but add quick counter-attacking cause this time around we've got some speed offensive minded players. I hope and pray Hutson Charles doesn't try to mold this team like Strike Squad cause i reiterate that if we play that style we sure to fail against Mexico, USA, or even Jamaica.
We can also surely do without Jones and try two mobile forwards instead of that Big-Man-upfront-British-style!!
