Entertainment & Culture Discussion / Heavy D Dead at 44
« on: November 08, 2011, 04:57:38 PM »
Rap legend Heavy D -- one of the most influential rappers of the '90s -- died earlier today ... TMZ has learned.

Heavy D -- real name Dwight Arrington Myers -- was rushed to an L.A. hospital around noon today ... and was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1 PM. He was 44 years old.

We've learned a 911 call was placed from Heavy's Beverly Hills home around 11:25 AM to report an unconscious male on the walkway .

When help arrived, we're told Heavy D was conscious and speaking -- and was transported to a nearby hospital.

He died a short time later.

Cops are investigating the death -- and so far, there are no obvious signs of foul play. Police are currently at the home.

Bermuda 0-0 Guyana at 55'
http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/nccamerica/matches/round=258361/match=300172465/index.html

A tie for Bermuda means they are out.

if dey win and all dey out lol.

Cuz if dey win today and when dey get dey six pts vs barbados dey total would be 12pts. We currently on 9 pts and wid a draw and win against Guyana dais 13 pts. So wid guyana stayin on 9 pts after d mention loss tuh bermuda (yuh hatta speak it den it would come into being  ;D)..then ah point from d 2 games vs TnT...dey total would be 10 pts and dat concludes d operation socawarriors tuh d hex mission!

SO GO HOME BERMUDA AND GUYANA!!

Good News.. according to FIFA.com

Bermuda up 1-0

Football / Re: Why is Dwayne De Rosario in the MLS?
« on: September 26, 2011, 08:04:21 AM »
One major contributing factor is his age. I think players like De Rosairo and Shalrie Joseph are good players who missed the window opportunity to move on to a bigger league about five years ago.

Correct!!

The MLS does a really "good job" of holding on to their marque players, even if its not in the best interest of the players themselves.

Marque player for real..

Is about 6 years now I asking myself the same question... with his talent, I was always waiting for move to a big club in Europe...

Now at 32 we will assume his best days are behind him...He also make up a group of talanted Canadians on thier national team,, to which i could never understand why they cant do better  ???  ::) ???

Is this round six games home and away, or just 3 games?

6: home and away.

Thus that makes Guyana the head of our group as of rite now (Remember Only one team from each group qualifies for the 3rd round)
Guyana is not ahead , they have scored 4 and conceded one , we scored 3 and conceded none so we are level on points and goals with ah make shift defense. don't worry, JLLoyd and primus will be in the mix if all next month if all goes well.

updated table

Yeah, I does see/talk to him ever so often... I tell him bout his 'missin in action' on the forum months ago..
Like many of us,  he's is an example of a poster who got frustrated with the direction TT football reach. Maybe after we beat Bermuda Friday and the excitement come back, a bunch of them will come back in droves...

Ato said it!   Once the World Championships came around a HUGE name would get DQ'ed....and then the stupid ass false start rule will get changed

When the rule just come out, Bolt was one of the few who say he like it..

Emagine 9.93 wins the Gold. Richard just run 9.85 2 weeks ago in HCF

Congrats to Kim Collins

On Paper, this is a bomb squad no doubt.... The intention perhaps is to give Bermuda about 6, and bring our confidence back ?..... but then again, remember what happen the last time we play Bermuda.

Ivan Sampson stands out to me on that list. The guy became a household name in South Trinidad (and even today ppl older folks does still talk about him) after some massive intercol seasons. At one point he was in the same sentance with Dwight Yorke.

Was poised to be the next great thing.

Went to the US for college.. yuh know the rest... :-\
