Good stuff Anthony !

Very encouraging to see the ball being played out from the back instead of the usual long ball we see in Trinidad.

The Pollonais boy, the CB, seems very composed.

Keep up the good work

Part of this is also the media's fault. They should be seeking out information from the TTFA, rather than being passive and just waiting for press releases.

Agreed, not seeing enough from those who were obsessed with the Tim Kee regime.

The media have to play their part

Actually, I am quiet grateful for the silence. DJW and the new Board were out in front of too many issues early in an unprepared and unprofessional manner. Having been elected for less than 5 months, they needed to close ranks, get the house in order, evaluate staff, review serious budgets and stop making so many foolish comments in the media. I think(hope) DJW, the Board and our football will be better from this silence.

Our sports administrators need to walk quietly and carry a big stick, too often they are pompous and arrogant with out delivering the final product.

Let the press officer make announcements, put the General Secretary to answer questions. Why do we need to hear from the President? I think we create part of the problem by wanting to hear from the President then blaming him when he says nonsense or doesn't have a plan. Let him stay quiet until July, after FIFA money come in, when the audits done, and we have a plan in place.

This post was not meant to question DJW's silence but the TTFA on a whole.

I think we all expected to see more done through the social media pages or press releases. Where is the community work? the marketing campaign? the planned friendlies? news on youth teams ?

Since DJW has been elected president the silence from the TTFA is evident.

On one hand it's good that they are not negatively featured in the media but on the other hand I thought we would have seen and heard more from this regime.

Before the elections we saw an aggressive marketing campaign with alot of good stuff from the Venezuelan guys they hired to push the marketing. Why has that completely dwindled ?

Also we have a window in June to play 2 vital friendlies. It's the only window available between March qualifiers and September qualifiers....I really hope DJW and his staff are lining up 2 acceptable friendlies for Stephen Hart and his squad.

This is a vital year, a make or break year.

Very let down so far by the silence. I thought they would have encouraged fan participation and also continue the marketing campaign with full force. All the buzz around the team is fading.

Lastly, I really hope our game away to SVG will be LIVE on National Television. It would be totally unacceptable in 2016 that the fans can't see a WCQ live from the comfort of their homes.

Let's hear something TTFA ! Anyone out there? Anyone ??

If we get a game during non FIFA dates then great for the local based/North American players but at the end of the day the squad for the 2 Qualifiers in March will be filled with foreign based pros

The real question is who will be our friendlies in JUNE 2016 ! Having missed out on the Copa we have to play 2 friendlies in June to gear us up for the September qualifiers vs Guatemala and USA.

It cannot be games in March then nothing till September. That would be criminal and unacceptable.

Get it done Mr President

No it's just about time for us to host it. We have not since 2007. We've been to two consecutive finals and we also have the best facilities to host it.

Get it done TTFA.

Surely it means the 4 involved will get a bye to the later rounds.

I really hope the TTFA are doing everything in their power to host the tournament. We've been to the last 2 finals and it's our time to host it now. We have the best facilities in the Caribbean..that pitch in Jamaica was a total joke in 2014.

Any streams for tomorrow?

I watched the debate last night and I think David John Williams is the best choice despite earlier fears. He has a clear vision and is very straight to the point. He speaks well and will be a good rep for Trinidad and Tobago football at meetings internationally and also in discussion with other FA heads for friendlies etc. His ability to speak clearly and get to the point will be a plus in gaining sponsors and good relations with the Government...likewise Clint Taylor also seems very clear and educated. He also had a nice vision and you can see he cares about T&T football. I will be happy with either of these guys.

Ramesh Ramdhan has a bit of a smart man vybe, he did not seem prepared and his answers were drawn out and scattered. He strikes me as a figurehead type that will just be along for the ride and have his people under him do the work while John Williams and Taylor strike me as hands on people who will be 100% invested.

Tim Kee as we know is a joke. He has to go, he's done some good things but the bad largely outweighs the good and alot of the progress we have seen in his time is largely down to Sheldon Phillips.

Selby Browne as I said earlier is outdated and not the man for this job. He seems very fishy too, got the worst vybe from him during the radio show with Andre and Liburd. He wasnt on the TV Debate.

Let's hope the new president (If Tim Kee loses) is strong enough to make immediate changes within the TTFA. There are a few members of TTFA staff that are very very against change as they are stuck in their ways for many many years. Sheldon Phillips lost his job by trusting these people who worked their way into Tim Kee and turned him against Sheldon...The new man has to cut out the weeds that WILL destroy any new hope.

43
This old man real bad. And he revealing some shady past dealings. If he win we in real trouble. He and Tim Kee are poor options

44
This Selby Browne fella on Andre baptiste show sounds very very outdated , way too old for this ... I really don't think he would be fit for this role. I'm sure he means well but this is no time for charity

Who will really be in season? Off the top of my head Kenywne, Boucaud, Hoyte brothers.

We will have Jan, Marvin, Cyrus, Marshall, Abu Bakr, Bateau, Mitchell? M.Williams, Aubrey? Peltier, Cato, Joevin Jones, Rundell Winchester, George, Hyland, Hackshaw, Cummings, Guerra, Ceaser? Glenn, Plaza.

CM department weakened without Boucaud but good chance for a local based CM to get into the squad

To address the line issue

I can confirm 100% that the TTFA do not have any decision in Stadium policy as SPORTT operate the HCS.

All the planning for the game including entry points and way of entry is done via SPORTT.

TTFA's presence at the venue would be the booths set up and entrance posters etc.

And I agree with you fully. SPORTT need to fire whoever was in charge of planning because that entrance could have potentially been disastrous. Absolutely pathetic planning.

You know what I cannot understand for the life of me ? The press officer has one job to do, provide information to the press who relay it to the public. You telling me he could not include in the match preview which is all over the local newspapers that the game will be LIVE on channel 99 ? Many people in Trinidad do not know the game is showing.

I can only imagine how angry FLOW are. They are providing the service yet the TTFA cannot inform the public and it comes down to one person to do that.

Madness honestly.

Valid point, Bakes ... thing is, this long has been the state of play with respect to these events. It's important that the TTFA liaise with HCS personnel to resolve with respect to events under its ambit. Same would apply to the NAAA for an international track meet. It's too basic of a problem to present a continual plague.

Sometimes toilets remain locked merely b/c ppl doh want to deal with the cleaning headache.

I can't speak for them, but indeed... the situation isn't new, Touches himself has reported on congestion at gates and bathroom issues in the past.  The problem is that HCS is a law unto itself in this regard... it's not like the FA has many other options, particularly since the HCS is allowing them not only office space, but also use of the facility free of charge.  HCS are under no obligation to listen to any complaint from a tenant who doesn't pay rent.  But even if the TTFA paid for use of the facility, they'd still be at the mercy of the stadium administration for lack of meaningful alternatives to hosting the games.  The key to addressing these particular complaints lies with the Ministry.

Man last night that stadium was embarrassing. I was in covered stands, the bathroom was in a state, doors off the hinges, no paper towels or soap to clean up.. Smelling stink.

I can only imagine the players dressing room how depressing. I really hope they can give that place a facelift before the game in November.

Is it so hard to sort out bathrooms and lighting issues for the safety and health benefits of kids women and men? Jesus Christ.

The gates complaint is a constant thing. Whoever is the person in SPORTT in charge of event organization really not serious. Probably getting big bucks a month to do nothing.

2 things if you do win it DJW

Do not , I repeat DO NOT , even think about for a second interfering with Coach Hart and his technical staff. Just because he didnt pick much Connection players in his time does not give you the right to deem him unacceptable..You cant expect a Senior coach to pick a bunch of untested kids. Even then he has given guys like Aikim and Shannon Gomez caps.

Relax yuh loud self and sort out the admin issues and bring in sponsors.

Very important win for the continued progression of this National Team.  :beermug:

I thought the tactics were spot on to match them 4-4-2 and our first goal was link up between Glenn and KJ. 2nd half tactics to go to the 4-4-1-1 also paid dividends with a very bright display from Ceaser off the right causing chaos and should have had a couple assists with the Joevin and Hyland chances.
We fully deserved to be 2-0 up when Abu put it in.

Now... this is something I have seen for a long time but it seems to go unnoticed. Cyrus is a total liability. I could not believe of all people Hart would bring him on with us 2-0 up and in need of CALM and leave Marshall who is very composed on the bench...Cyrus is a loose dog off his leash who breathes chaos and neglects composure. His very presence on the field caused us to become erratic tactically. I wasnt surprised they took full control from there on in and scored 1 shit goal to get back into it.
In the future I do hope we use a better option such as Marshall.

All in all a great result.

Please ! Please ! local fans come out and support the players and staff on Tuesday. Share the info on your social media pages, spread it via email. talk shout , we need to get back the love for the team because they are fighting for us the fans, for the flag and for the country.

VYBEZ IT UP  :beermug: :beermug: :beermug:

aye Alvin Corneal is one negative dude.

TTFA should have put in the contract with FLOW that he should be banned from commentary. This is a marketing opportunity, they should have had someone go on and be positive about the team etc.

This jackass going on and on like if we losing 5-0

I saw Fatima play Trinity East in Trincity today..I left with 5 to go with Fatima leading 3-0.

Under Hayden Martin they draw 2 and win 1 so it looking like he getting a response. I liked the look of the #10 for Fatima, Sebastian Camacho. Played up top but generally plays the attacking mid role and looks good there but he had a nice game today. Assist with a dangerously whipped corner for the 1st and a sweet move for the 3rd when the right winger played it into him for a 1-2 but he used the run and turned to his left and with his weaker foot spread it to the left wing for the next wide man to get onto and he was then fouled in a last ditch attempt and Fatima got a penalty.

Some of the fans told me Derek King spoke with him after the Fatima San Juan game and told him keep it up, he has national quality. In fact in the last 2 wired868 reports I read good updates about him from the games.

I hope he gets a run out in his favoured role soon so I can take a further look.

1. Panama match confirmed for Oct 8

2. Bolivia match off due to recent changes in BFF and inability to give firm committment.

3. Second match in October guided by CONCACAF.

If we have to play two games vs Haiti why don't we play 8th September since Bolivia off and 13th October.

59
Wow. They better not play the ass. We have a WCQ in November!

Since the winners of the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup (Mexico) have already qualified for the Copa América Centenario, a total of four teams will play in the qualifying play-offs.

The matchups for these two spots are:

Panama (Seed #1) vs Cuba (Seed #4)
Trinidad and Tobago (Seed #2) vs Haiti (Seed #3)

First leg

13 October 2015

Trinidad and Tobago v Haiti

Second leg

November 2015

Haiti v Trinidad and Tobago

2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament ranking

Pld   W   D   L   GF   GA   GD   Pts - Qualification for Copa América Centenario
1. Mexico   6   4   2   0   16   6   +10   14 - Qualified prior to 2015 Gold Cup
2. Jamaica   6   4   1   1   8   6   +2   13 - 2014 Caribbean Cup winner
3. Panama   6   0   5   1   6   7   −1   5 - Play-offs
4. United States   6   3   2   1   12   5   +7   11 - Qualified prior to 2015 Gold Cup
5. Trinidad and Tobago   4   2   2   0   10   6   +4   8 - Play-offs
6. Haiti   4   1   1   2   2   3   −1   4 - Play-offs
7. Costa Rica   4   0   3   1   3   4   −1   3 - 2014 Copa Centroamericana winner
8. Cuba   4   1   0   3   1   14   −13   3 - Play-offs
9. El Salvador   3   0   2   1   1   2   −1   2
10. Canada   3   0   2   1   0   1   −1   2
11. Honduras   3   0   1   2   2   4   −2   1
12. Guatemala   3   0   1   2   1   4   −3   1

We can't play in November 2015... 2 World Cup qualifiers. It should really just be one game in October with us hosting as we finished higher than them. Makes sense. Same for Panama, they should host Cuba in a one off. Why is that so complicated Concacaf???
