Ah copy that post from WIRED868 Blog about the article  "Suriname stun Saintfiet’s soldiers; Tyrone gem fails to save T&T in Gold Cup playoff"

Tom Cat in bag has no tactical plan for this football team. He is a one trick pony of so called “discipline”.

Tom Julianus Maria Saintfiet has a tactical plan for getting National Team Coaching positions:

1. Enter a 3rd World country where people have a self-esteem problem due to oppression, slavery, colonialism and neo-colonialism

2. Immediately tell them the players and society they have no discipline because where ever you find black and brown people they believe that the workers have no discipline and society is lawless. Picking on the small guy the athlete usually works, never mention the administrators nor management.

3. Select a local team and isolate better foreign based talent as spoiled “boys”. The society will agree they have no discipline and too big for they britches. After all these black and brown people have “crab in barrel” mentality.

4. When the uproar comes because I am losing games blame the local players fitness and ability. Quickly, try to get the foreign based talent back.

5. Do my best to get to 90 days, after that they will fire me but have to pay my contract.

6. By the time they figure out what happened, I already inked a deal on another 3rd World FA.

Folks, he has done this before because he understands psychology NOT football. Why you think he was laughing when DJW threaten him? Inside he saying thanks for the bravado of telling me your plan because I can now make adjustments to my plans. While DJW talking, Tom the Cat texting his agent to send out resumes in mid February.

The question is did our TTFA administrators that hired him know or understand the clever Belgian Waffle aka Tom the Cat in Bag?

He hired a coach who is corrupt as he is to execute his plans...

The dictator is not dumb my friend, he knows exactly what he is doing

I agree because no one is that stupid. They find the man that willing to be fired so they could put who they want after. We will lose the next two WCQ games, then hire preferred local coach to play the preferred players..laawd sent help

I read on wired868 that azaad Khan had put Caesar down as injured, when he really wasn't. First time I'm hearing someone making an error on the roster card.

Curious at best? But then again is Azaad

gawd wat you smoking?

Haiti 4-0  with 10 minutes plus extra time

I mean when we play Haiti. If the game end up 0-0. Since Suriname got 2 late goals, a 2-0 win for us will be good enough. So no extra time needed

Think that possible based on what you saw over the first two games?

I think we have no chance!

Final Haiti 4-2

Current Standings as I understand
                    P   W  D  L    GD     Points
Haiti             1   1        0     +2        3
Suriname      2   1        1    -1         3
TT                1            1    -1         0

We would need to beat HAITI  2-0. Not likely but Haiti did us a huge favor giving up 2 goals in 5 minutes

I hope that once and for all people will stop this local players versus foreign players. The local players are local because they not good enough for better leagues so that is why they not good enough for international competition. The same local players trying to get out of the Pro Leagues to better leagues so what that tell you

I wouldnt be surprised if the coach walk away after these games, what does he really have to gain by even hanging around till March if he can't get this team past competition at this level?

He is a stupid coach and a terrible man manager but he not a dunce. He will get fired so he still get paid

Win or lose,we have to use as many of our homeboys as we could,it is important for them to have some international experience. We may fail to qualify for the GC and even the WC,but have to continue to build from home,we know the foreign players will be there at times.

Frico

representing your national team is something that you must earn by exhibiting excellence not an experience for homeboys. How will you build continuity and the team chemistry with your methods?

Have we fallen so low that a 3-1 victory over Nicaragua is the resurgence of our football?

Is this supposed to be the justification for Pro League players?

Beating 124 ranked Nicaragua is not an accomplished, don't you realize how bad it was to lose to them two days ago.

Have some standards and pride for damn sake. Celebrating this is DAMN embarrassing

WTF get out of my freaking head ah now come here to post the above...people love to celebrate mediocrity....when we can beat Mexico and the US and Coast Rica consistently then we can talk...we still years away from that if we pursue this tribalistic way of thinking.

Ok so we shld have lost...

CONCACAF Q&A: Tahir Hanley (Garden Hotspurs and St. Kitts & Nevis)

There is no doubt that St. Kitts & Nevis international Tahir Hanley is among the next generation of CONCACAF stars.  The 19-year-old forward made his senior debut in a 0-0 draw at Nicaragua on August 31, 2016.  In addition to that honor, he was key in helping the Sugar Boyz secure a place in the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship for only the second-ever time, scoring six goals in Caribbean qualifying, including two in the final round.  Hanley took time to speak with CONCACAF.com about his future as a professional and what he wants to achieve moving forward.

How old were you when you started to play football?

I was seven-years-old when I started to play football.  It was a happy moment for me.  Football was my hobby and my love.  Now, I am happy that it is a career option for me.

You scored key goals to help your country qualify for the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.  How did you feel about your role in making that happen?

I felt great.  It is a wonderful feeling when you can contribute for your country and make an impact.  The Caribbean final round in Curacao was a memorable tournament for us.  I would say, however, that our win over Jamaica (2-0) in the Dominican Republic in the first round was a turning point for us.  It gave us a lot of momentum moving forward and thankfully the goals came…so did the performances and the results.  Football is big in St. Kitts and hopefully we can show CONCACAF that we are no pushovers and that we can make a good impression and establish ourselves as a strong footballing nation.

Are there any footballers to whom you look up?

Well, there are two.  Cristiano Ronaldo is one.  He is a hard worker and we are seeing that every season he just improves and improves.  He is a model professional and he takes his football seriously.  It is a good platform he has set for young people.  In terms of Kittitian footballers, I look up to my big brother Tishan Hanley.  He is a regular in the national team and he also plays football overseas.  He gives me good advice and I hope to play overseas like him one day in the future.

You made your St. Kitts & Nevis senior debut earlier this year in a 0-0 draw at Nicaragua.  How did it feel to make your debut?

It was a dream to make my senior international debut.  We did well against a team that beat the likes of Suriname and Jamaica in World Cup qualifiers.  I am now working on to be a regular in the senior team.  That is my next goal as a player.

In the 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship, St. Kitts & Nevis will face Panama, the USA and Haiti.  What are your thoughts on that group?

I must say it is a tough group, but we are in this tournament for a reason.  We have a right to play in this tournament and we are there to win.  Caribbean teams have done well in this tournament, so why can’t’ we.  We have to take things one game at a time and ensure we do our best in all games.  From there, we see where we are and then we take it from there.

What is your objective in the 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship?

My personal aim is to score goals, help my team to play well and to qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.  St. Kitts & Nevis has never played in a FIFA tournament, so this is a grand opportunity for us.  One way to look at it is that we are five wins away.  It is easier said than done, but when you aim high, you shall get success.

What are your personal career goals?

There are two goals that I have in mind.  I would like to become a professional football player and play overseas.  Secondly, I would like to be known in St. Kitts & Nevis.  When people think of St. Kitts & Nevis, they think of sprinter Kim Collins and footballer Atiba Harris.  I would love to be added to this list and make my country proud.  These are my dreams.  It will take time, but I do believe everything will fall into place.

What is your advice to youngsters who want to play football professionally?

Keep working hard.  It takes a lot of hard work.  You have to make a lot of sacrifices in order to succeed.  Once you stay grounded and motivated, you will reap the rewards in life and football and succeed.  Watching more football also helps as well.  You can watch clips of players and see what little bits you can take from everyone and apply it to your game.  Finally, surround yourself with people who motivate you and care about you, including family and close friends.

I have to say allyuh fellas are unfair with some of your comments, we failed to beat that team at home with our first choice players, Nic also have had some quite impressive results not so long ago.We are using a team that was forced on us, what do you all expect, I hope we don't get beaten 4 or 3 nil like we were getting recently.Give the man a chance, and also the boys must be a bit nervous, we have another match and still 45 mins to go.

Deeks, totally agree as I am not against the weight room for all the reasons you mentioned. The multiple reps at lower weight levels are a must. I was referencing that we have players that are "big" not muscularly defined nor truly strong and we often think that is strength.

My main point is that the players need fitness at a very high level to play the proper brand of football to advance out of the group in February. We can not accomplish that fitness in a two week camp in Colombia/Brazil, that fitness and nutrition has to start now.

Coach say we guys need strengthening up. I should have auditioned for TD  ;D. been saying that for ages.

We seem to believe that big is strong, often we do not recognize that the more flexible the muscle the stronger the muscle.

I disagree with one thing the Coach said about not doing fitness because the boys coming off colleges and club league. Frankly, the pace of play and fitness level in those leagues are below what is required at the international level.

AB.Trinis response sums up my viewpoint exactly:

Personally I advocated for Hart- I probably could do a search to find  when we began tooting his horn- for so many reasons I thought that we had finally found a coach who understood our game , our context and our players - I relished inthe early success he had with this team and with the program but then the wheels fell off. Reasons one can only surmise. I am not saying any coach is beyond reproach however inmyopinion, there appeared tobe external factors and disruptions which seeped into what was a cohesive unit.

I think the success of a team like this involves more than a coach and in my opinion  Coach Hart was not given the supports or treatment toco duct business to sustain success.  I think if all supports were given and tne results were not forthcoming I could see justifiable reasoning for dismissal.  I mean would it not have made sense to have a Terry Fenwick as a technical advisor or someone else with some credentials to work on Hart's team?  Surround the man with a supportive qualified staff and let's see what could have happened?

Players doing bs and getting reprimanded should not be seen as a slap on Harts tenure - why did the TTFA not come out and publicially denounce and take a strong stance aganist playes who demonstrated a lack of discipline? Why would certainly TTFA officials allegedly be interfering and soliciting players regarding coaching practices - utter unprofessional! So in many ways I think that Coach Hart is a good fit for TnT but I believe certain players let him down and certain personnel around him did the same -
Ironically it felt like a coup!!I would always continue to support our national teams but don't have to agree with some decisions- then again there may be things that they knew that we have not - I support  but will not blindly follow those who claim to lead.

Contro-

I hope people who are uncomfortable with you can recognize the core problem is that the Technical Director and Coaches are responsible for everything on the field. The President, Board and General Secretary are never supposed to be on the field but responsible for getting the resources to support all our national teams and youth development. Unfortunately, the big belly men will not stay in their lane, no professionalism resulting in poor governance
