El Salvador and Guatemala are not safe either. However, there is a significant difference. In those two countries the violence is between gang members and tied to the drug trade which affects also Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua (the safest country in CA). In otherwords, if you stay out of troubles, chances are crime won't affect you. In Honduras instead the violence amd crime very much targets the common population for money.

Most dangerous country in the World. A pure war zone. No idea what's the rationale.

You realize Alajuelense is terrible this season? And he is not getting playing time with the coach who brought him there and now with the new one who did not pick him for the match vs Saprissa?

Well until now they gave the benefit of the doubt. After this not anymore. Check that facebook post and see comments from fans. Reminds of Willis Plaza times in Alianza.

Boatswain is so not needed in Alajuelense they let him leave early before the match with Saprissa https://www.facebook.com/lda.cr/posts/10154844233601127
what ??

He has been getting almost no playing time and that's with the coach who agreed to bring him who has now been fired this past Monday. The new coach lets him leave two days early skipping the Sunday match with Saprissa (players don't need to be released until Monday otherwise). Wouldn't be surprised if he stays in Trinidad for good because I know the team is actively looking for a replacement before the transfer window closes.

That's the problem with some agents. They offer the wrong players to teams that have high expectations. Result? The Costa Rica market will be closed for T&T players after this.

Was it ever open?

Yes because Aubrey David had done fairly well there. But obviously he was more experienced and playing full back has a different pressure than playing striker.

So no more Trinis in the CONCACAF League.

Central FC get knockout by C.D. Árabe Unido (Panama)
San Juan Jabloteh get knockout by A.D. Santos de Guápiles (Costa Rica)
C.D. Honduras Progreso (Jerrel Britto) get knockout by Chorrillo F.C. (Panama)
Liga Deportiva Alajuelense (Jamille Boatswain) get knockout by C.D. Olimpia (Honduras)

I am sorry but Boatswain cannot play in Alajuelense. At least not now. Kurt Frederick neither. They should build a statue to that agent.

5'10" 150lb? He better start living in Red Bulls weight room.

Dinner Mints

At 18 that's appropriate size, I hope you don't want him to be fat, overweight and unfit like so many of the Pro League players currently in the national setup that are exhausted in the 70th minute.  Let me help you by showing you the height and weight stats of arguably the 10 best LWB in the world:

                              Age   Height   Weight
Luke Shaw               22   6'1"           165
Patrice Evra               36   5'8"           159
Nancho Monreal               31   5'10"           159
Raphael Guerreiro       23   5'7"           148
Aleksandar Kolarov       31   6'2"           183
Cesar Azpilicueta       27   5'10           154
Marcelo Viera               29   5'9"           165
Danny Rose               27   5'9"           168
Jordi Alba                       28   5'7"           150
David Alaba               25   5'11"      165

Average Height     5.67
Average Weight    162
Average pounds/inch 2.376

Next time use some data to back up your statements. I am sure by 22 Powder will add 10 pounds of muscle.

Though they play very different positions with different physical demands, Neymar is 5"9" and 150 pounds.

Alex Sandro and Marcelo are better than all of them. Arguably.

The only way the league steps us the level is if they bring some foreign coaches and players. But not from amateur Caribbean islands. The low hanging fruit is Mexicans. Why? Because the USD to Pesos exchange is awful now and because their top two divisions are flooded with foreign players and the third division is only for U25, so there are fairly quality players over 25 who are left out of the system and immigrate to Central America, mostly Costa Rica and Guatemala. Mexican football tends to be fast pace, aggressive on the ball, give it all mentality. That's what's lacking in TT Pro league.

Please comment on the admission policy regarding foreigners and the Mexican third tier.

I am not sure but I see so many amateurish players coming in from other Caribbean islands and Colombia

And that's why players from the local TT Pro league who have never played abroad should have no business on the National Team

I watched parts of yesterday's game and Central appeared to be the away team. Arabe out-hustled and outmuscled Central, especially in the middle of the field. Our guys look weak and outpaced. Our football is regressing. We have one or two individuals who can match anybody, but that is not good enough. Our collective football is poor. But I am glad that Nathan and Seepersad got recognition.

Another thing. Any TT team playing in any Concacaf tournament or competitions should start with this handicap. You will NOT get the calls from the refs. Especially against the US and the Spanish teams. So they should stop making some of those fouls. They will not get the benefit of the doubt.

Wow Spain sends teams to Concacaf now?

So they shoot our midfield maestro, then after his rehab he get drop from the national team and now he is no longer in the pro league

People could say what they want but he's more talented than molino imo much more deadlier in the box as well

My prayers are with him but such is the nature of politics and corruption in regards to our football in TT

Why doesn't he go to a small team in Central America first division to prove it?

Anyone disagree with the ranking within CONCACAF?

1. Mexico
2. Costa Rica
3. USA

Yes, MLS is more competitive than Costa Rica Primera. If you take Saprissa, Herediano, and Alajuelense they would not be more than playoffs contenders in MLS. You simply can't discount players like Giovinco who have never been seen in Costa Rica. All top CR players leave to Europe or MLS.

Is that a subjective view? How does one gauge "more competitive"?

it's not subjective. half of the teams in costa rica pay $1,500-$2,000/month.

I would also be inclined to say Ascenso MX is third before Costa Rica Primera.

So if this guys is so good, how come he is not in the mix for our current campaign?

Since when the national team has called the right players?

Just naming foreign based players is one ting, but more importantly how many of them are actively playing for their clubs? Pointless to get hopes up about players who don't even get much sweat for their clubs to just suddenly have an impact on the national team

Soccerway is accurate for recognized leagues. Jerrel Britto and Dwane James always start. James always goes 90 mins.
