I really really hope you guys win that match. I see a lot of Americans underestimating T&T.
Your national team is good. Almost the entire XI is composed by starters in MLS or European leagues. I guess people didn't notice how good T&T looks right now in CONCACAF level.

Can't wait to see you guys winning!!

This past month has been hard. Too much work. But it was beautiful, wasn't it?

I'm happy for all the athletes and especially our soccer team. We did well for a country that doesn't invest on sports.

Did you like it?

Can't wait to watch T&T and especially Bostock and Levi Garcia on the qualifiers.
I'm cheering for Panamá and T&T to reach the World Cup.

Regards from Brazil

Bostock had a very good performance for a slow match. He is pure brain + precision + vision. Always with his head up instructing other players and looking for the best pass. Also, RC Lens has a good team and is capable of reaching Ligue 1 again.

Believe me guys, Bostock has potential to improve A LOT the ball movement on the T&T midfield.

Arsenal x RC Lens is gonna start in 20 minutes. Bostock is gonna start.

You can watch it in HD on the Arsenal website after registering an account. www.arsenal.com

Cordell Cato played A LOT better than the current RB of the San Jose Earthquakes in a historical win against Toronto.
The Quakes started winning 1-0 but then had 2 men sent off. So Toronto tied the match, and the Quakes scored the game winner even playing with 9 man.
After that they had to hold the result for 40 MINUTES. Fatai Alashe had the best defensive highlights but Cato was solid.

Steven Goff, reliable source, said Kenwyne is close to deal with 2017 MLS expansion side Atlanta United. Would go on loan until 2017 perhaps in T&T.

And to think that Quintero was a guy who couldn't even get Liga MX teams interested when he was at Lobos BUAP in Ascenso MX...

Hahah He's good but too inconsistent. He does well 80% of the match but in the other 20% he misses key passes and easy finishes. And he's the type of guy that needs to be completely confident to perform well, probably that's why no clubs wanted him. Also having Aníbal Godoy on the same team maybe helped him to adapt and feel comfortable.

In Brazil, there's a fruit that is about the size of a tiny tomato (and looks like one).

Sometimes it is a bit bigger. It is sweet. The seed is small and hard.

Sometimes it is not completely smooth all around. It may have ridges.

What's the name of this fruit?

Hahah It's Caqui. Why?

Wait nah.....dinho back on de forum?

Best pic I could find for my avatar.  :P

He get a sweat yesterday at right back (he really cyah beat that Panamanian Quintero for the RM role anytime soon)... in my opinion he was kinda vulnerable in defense especially when running backwards to defend...but did add a little bit going forward.

Quintero is a lot better than Cato, but our fullbacks are REALLY bad, so I would like to see Cordell as LB or RB more times.

Which Euro leagues? I don't think the main leagues are very physical. EPL ok. BBVA is not physical. Serie A? Pirlo said MLS is too physical and he played his entire career on Italy. Ligue 1? Nah

Europe has this fame of being physical as a whole because people focus a lot more on Europe than North/Latin America. I consider Argentinian League one of the most physical in the world. Not because the players are tall and strong (most are not), but because the players sweat blood on the field, which makes the matches a lot more physical than big bodies.

It's just a guess. Not saying that's an absolute truth.

I'm basing my opinion on quality of play. I don't follow Ligue 2 but I watch Ligue 1 sometimes and it's not one of the best leagues. Brazilian League > Ligue 1 (except for PSG and sometimes Lyon, Marseille) imo.
MLS has some bad teams in terms of talent and tactical organization, like Chicago Fire. But some others, for example, FC Dallas and New York Red Bulls could compete in Ligue 1 to be a mid table team.

MLS is still underrated because there are REALLY bad players on the league. Soccer is still growing on the country so they are still learning how to scout and evalute players. People talk a lot about parity but it happens most because the league doesn't have international breaks and because the physicality sometimes destroy all the tactical play. Talented players suffer a lot of injuries and hard fouls because of that + bad referees. MLS is comparable to the Argentinian league in terms of physical play.

Just an example (it doesn't prove a lot, of course), but Pierazzi, former Ajaccio captain (played Ligue 2 and Ligue 1), was below-average in MLS. And he was an important player in France.

Do you think Ligue 2 is much better than MLS? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm just curious. :)

Lens is essentially a Ligue 1 squad playing in Ligue 2. There are worse decisions. He can achieve promotion with Lens.

Much more interested in when he "achieves promotion" with us. Aka the hex.

Good point, but he was recently relegated to Belgium 2nd division. I don't think he should go to another 2nd division club (except for Championship that is better than the others). He was the player of the tournament in 2014 (not sure) and had a great season in 2015. I believe he could be in a mid table Ligue 1 club. Even MLS is better than Ligue 2 in my opinion.

Well, I hope he does well for you guys on the Hex! I really like Panamá but I'm cheering for Trinidad to reach the World Cup! :)

He would fit perfectly on FC Dallas. Dallas and New York Red Bulls are the best in MLS in my opinion, their teams are VERY organized. They could easily play on the Brazilian League, Ligue 1 and some other good leagues.

Dallas is currently playing in a 4-2-3-1, with 2 quality wingers (Castillo and Barrios) and an AMAZING playmaker, Mauro Díaz. Kenwyne Jones would fit perfectly as a target forward for the team.
But I want him on SJ Earthquakes  :P He would be a really good partner for Chris Wondolowski too. There were rumours last summer that SJ tried to sign him. Let's see!

Bostock signed with a Ligue 2 team. Bad move in my opinion. He's better than that.

But maybe he's trying to grow again slowly as a player. He was loaned to a lot of clubs during his career and played (and failed) for some EPL and Championship clubs, maybe he doesn't want to go to England again and risk his good performances. Let's see.

He has received offers from Real Salt Lake, Houston Dynamo and DC United

Wonderful!! Why are our guys being primarily scouted by the MLS! Imagine we don't hv one PL player!

Right now our players aren't attracting PL attention because we not good enough!  We probably could and maybe should get some Championship attention.  BREXIT may presents a new set of problems depending on work permit rules and UKs EU relationship going forward.

Joevin jones and Molino not good enough?

They're good for MLS, so they would be good for Championship, not EPL.
Like I said before, only Levi Garcia and John Bostock have potential to be EPL players, in my opinion. Not sure about Molino yet, but he's doing a great job in MLS.

They're good IN MLS, as a post to for. Molino coach, had said that Molino is as good as any, kaka also said that he wld recommend him to his former club, which is a top club worldwide, even better quality than the PL imho... Serie A. Joevin had been spoken off highly as well with SH saying that even Joevin himself does not realize how good he is.

Mekeil is another one that cld be added. Idk about bostock, haven't seen him play, videos are not enough for me as it just shows selective moments, as a post to a entire game where you can observe off the ball movement etc.

As a fan it's just kinda sad to see such talents compromised in the sense that, I think they're limiting themselves

Sorry for the English, I'm Brazilian, still learning.  :P

Kaká former club was São Paulo, not Milan. Are you sure he was talking about Milan?
Don't get me wrong, I love Molino, he's my favorite T&T player, but I'm not sure if he's EPL level yet.
Agree about Mekeil.
He was asked by a reporter if he would recommend any of his Orlando teammates to Milan. He couldn't really answer, 'No,' because that would be rude. So he picked his best/favorite teammate. I don't think it's any deeper than that, really.

Hm... I think he praised Higuita too. And there was rumors he received offers from Milan.

2 Assists for Molino. Orlando up 2-1 vs Toronto. Orlando would not win this game without Molino's contribution

I was about to post it, hahah. You beat me.

His first assist was amazing. Beautiful first touch!

I think he's not EPL quality. Maybe I'm wrong but he fits better in a Championship team if we're talking about English soccer. He could also play in Eredivise or Scottish Football League. Same thing for Molino and all the others mentioned.

Levi Garcia and Bostock are the only ones I see true potential to become EPL quality players in the future.

Damn!  If he eh EPL quality....then he have zero chance to play in La Liga or Bundesliga

Idk but maybe he could fit in a mid-table team in Bundesliga. What do you think? Bundesliga is a lot easier than EPL imo.

No PL interest!?? This guy is such a talent, he works hard and is super committed, has a great eye for the game, and I can't recal a time he has performed poorly!

I wonder why, man like him, Molino, and joevin not in the PL!? Scouts probably don't even look at MLS players? Anybody know of any MLS players that went to England? I know they retire in the MLS...but what about versa vice

Has more to do with work permits and visas. For them to get a work permit, TT must be in top 50 FIFA ranking for two years.

I guess it's top 70, not 50. And T&T is 64 right now.

KJ has been very good for the national side over th past coupke years. I hope he gets something in England again.

Or the MLS?

Would love a T&T player in SJ Earthquakes  :P
Cordell Cato is at San Jose Earthquakes. He is from Trinidad and Tobago.

another* T&T player in SJ Earthquakes. :)

Cato is not a starter, he's the 3rd option as RM. Kenwyne would be a starter!

cato fell down the pecking order

Yeah. When MPG started playing as RM, Cato became a sub. And now we signed Quintero (another RM/LM) and Cato became the 3rd option...
