Anyone know what's happening with KJ now?  He's left Al Jazira - has he returned to the UK? No news of anyone showing interest or even of him being available.

His loan ended, he should go back to Cardiff.
In my opinion he could easily play in MLS and be one of the top scorers, he's a very physical player so he would fit perfectly on the league. The problem is his salary is too high, I don't think any MLS club would pay like $2mi for him. He's not too famous and already 31 years old. If he accepts a huge paycut to earn like $800k I guess he'll receive some offers.

Cardiff released him on 23rd May.  MLS seems like the logical move, but there's been no news of any club showing interest as far as I am aware?

wow!! I didn't know that. And yes.. he wasn't linked to any MLS club as far as I know.

Joevin supersub! Scored a goal and created the chance for Jordan Morris's goal too! Seattle 2 x 0 DC United.

PS: DeLeon looked really bad this match.

Saw Mekeil playing for the Rapids. Strong and sturdy. And can overlap well.

He's doing really well for Rapids. Solid on defense and already provided 2, 3 or more assists.

He just assisted my compatriot Julio Baptista! NYC 2 x 1 ORL

And then he scored on the last minute to tie the match!!! NYC 2 x 2 ORL
Incredible! #VivaMolino

Couldn't watch the entire match against Uruguay but imagine the team T&T will have with Bostock and DeLeon. I'm not sure about the goalkeeper and one of the CBs, but all the rest looks really good, this would be one of the best teams in CONCACAF.

4-2-3-1

Phillips (?)
M. Williams - Bateau - Abu Bakr(?) - J. Jones
Hyland - Boucaud
Molino - Bostock - DeLeon
K. Jones

Boucaud would do the #8 function, playing box-to-box, and Hyland would be the #6, defensive mid.
Bostock probably will have the best distribution, long passes and long shots on this team, so he can be easily the #10, playmaker. Molino is a RM for Orlando so I think it's his best position, because he's familiar to it. DeLeon is playing CM for DC United but he's a natural LM, so would be a great addition to the team on this position.

Levi Garcia can come off the bench as a supersub or be the starter as LM if DeLeon does bad. And I like Sean de Silva and Cato, they would be great subs too.

This team looks extremely good in my opinion, Bostock and DeLeon need to get their passports or whatever they need to play. Both said that will play for T&T.

I agree with alot of what you said, I like the idea of Levi coming off the bench and inserting Bostock as a plus. I believe the CB that impressed you last night was Westlie John and I must say despite giving up the penalty he looked pretty good. But I will also say that I'm not sure I'd waste Joevins attacking skills at LB. I don't think that we will have enough possession vs the best of concacaf to count on constant attacks from the LB position. Plus I do not think that DeLeon at his best is better than Joevin at his best. So my line up would be the same except with John next to Bateau and possibly David at LB and JJ at LW.

Would be a good lineup too. I like A. David as LB and Joevin as LW too. Let's see if DeLeon will be as good as I expect.

I would like too see Joevin as LB because he would help a lot starting the plays. LB is a very underrated position, people usually think good players are wasted there, but a good LB overlapping can be a game changer. Just look at Jordi Alba playing for Barça, he and Neymar are a deadly combo, just like Joevin and DeLeon/Levi could be in CONCACAF proportions.  :D

Hello Andre ....
I am only kidding. I am a big Flamengo fan. Santos is a close second. I also like Sao Paulo. I also like Nautico, because they came to TT in the early 70s. They were a 2nd division team, but they were extremely exciting.  Flamengo in the Maracana with all those red, black and white jerseys and flags(T&T, T&T, T&T) was absolutely magical. And I got to see them on UNIVISION(formerly SIN) with Zico, Peu, Adilio, Junior, etc. I saw them beat Liverpool in Japan for the World club cup.  Sao Paulo has some great clubs. Corinthians and Palmeires are no slouches either.

Nice! I love when people of other countries are fans of Brazilian soccer. I'm only 20 years old, so I couldn't watch Zico, for example. I've never been to Rio de Janeiro and Maracanã, but Flamengo fans are really great! The stadiums I've already been are Canindé (Portuguesa), Pacaembu (Corinthians), Morumbi (São Paulo FC), Jayme Cintra (Paulista) and some others.

A test,  to check if you is a real Brazilian. Fla or Flu ?

I'm from São Paulo so I don't care much about Rio de Janeiro teams, but just to give you an answer I think Flamengo would be my option. :)

Just checked the site, Red Joma home kit available in (Medium) only.

Still a lot expensive :(

$1 = R$4
$80 = R$320

Jerseys here in Brazil are usually around R$160, so R$320 is like buying two... and I didn't even count the shipping that will probably be $15 (R$60) or more, and I can probably be taxed (more than 60% of the total price) hahah. It's hard to buy international stuff here in Brazil.
The jersey is actually on sale for $50.99 = R$204 but I get your point on the high prices.

Oh, sorry! I looked the price of the wrong jersey. Well, if they start selling Small I'll try to buy, I guess.
You're a fan of T&T and you're looking at a jersey for another country ;D

I'm just messing with you, welcome aboard :beermug:

I'm a Brazilian fan myself but lately they've been playing too much of a European brand and not the Brazilian samba free flowing style with flair that we like. I'm hoping for the best in Copa America.

Yeah, we're doing really bad lately :(

Hey!

I'm from Brazil and I started watching MLS in 2014, so I became a fan of San Jose Earthquakes and consequently started to follow the T&T national team because of Cordell Cato.

Now I'm watching every match possible of the team and I really enjoy it. I love to watch Molino, Mekeil Williams and Joevin Jones playing in MLS, and I'm extremely excited for Bostock and DeLeon debuts for the national team!

I'm trying to buy a jersey for more than 6 months and I can't find it here in Brazil, and it's too expensive to buy on American stores on internet. Do you guys know where I can find it cheaper?

Btw, I found this forum this week and loved it! I'll check it everytime.
If you have any doubts about Brazilian soccer or Brazil in general, we can talk! :P

Thanks!

Wow. Thanks for coming aboard. I am glad that our most recent loss converted into a new die hard fan.

I would like to know, what does the average Brazilian think when they hear T&T? Based on my experiences with Brazilians, most think Carnival. However, many do know about the Soca Warriors. I am guessing these are the true football fans..

Most of them know T&T because of the participation on the World Cup, but they never know any player of the team. Sometimes one or other person knows Kenwyne Jones because he played in EPL, but that's all.
Still a weak team if you think about the whole America, but I can see T&T, Panama and Costa Rica fighting to be the 3rd best in CONCACAF. Bostock will improve a lot this team, mark my words, he's great and will be the best on the team.

Welcome you'll find a lot of Brazil fans here.
The first question I have is when will Dunga be fired?
I am completely unimpressed by his team selection.

He's shit, no one likes him. We're dumb choosing coaches, we said no to Guardiola and Sampaoli and chose Dunga. And our best Brazilian coach, Tite, said no to the national team because he prefers to stay at Corinthians. :banginghead:

Hopefully he'll be fired this year, but we never know...
