Football / Re: W/Cup ban threat facing TTFA over Pellerud.
« on: January 27, 2016, 09:49:15 AM »
Audited accounts!! Umm hmm.
No accounts, then no FIFA funds. No funds then no payment of Pellerud, no payment then T&T banned!
The final true existential threat to TTFA, & by extension, T&T football . After several years of this white collar crime, if no honest accounts produced in the next few days, in February, then it's all over for T&T, for TTFA, for BraveHart, for Barber, for Anton, for Field of Dreams productions, for all those owed money by Jackulito, Scampito & uncle Tim, for the Proleague, for socawarriors.net, for Flex, Tallman, Sam, and all those who do really care about the football
Meanwhile we raising money for Scampito's house. Nice eh?
All over, period. Reflect deeply people how this came to pass as we prepare to witness the meltdown of many posters here.
Sam, get ready as I worry most for you.
Folks, let me say in advance, it was nice knowing you all.

To BraveHart,

Thanks for letting us live the dream and good luck with your future coaching endeavors. You were right not sign a contract with this bacchanal.

Yours respectfully,

Dreamer

Very sad state of affairs with baby Cornmeal. I feel his pain. No TT salary money for quite a while. Real suffering for him although he is likely getting something from FIFA, unlike some of the local coaches who cyah eat a food at all without pulling bull. All the behind-the-scenes goings-on are coming more to light now as Uncle Tim and the most loyal Jackula-ites & cabal-ites found themselves post-election, surprisingly for the first time without the power to control the TTFA treasury, or keep the TTFA/TTFF financial secrets under wraps any more. The crowning symbol of their misdeeds is the absence of bloody financial records for years even when the administration was being reluctantly handed over. Could you imagine what would be going on if Uncle Tim got another several year term, or if Jackula’s Uncle Ram got his talons on the TTFA? Huhyuhyai!!

Baby Cornmeal and Papa Doc Cornmeal never had much to say publically when everybody was ketchin’ their nennen under Jackulito, with blacklistings left right & center or the broke footballers who never had a choice of 2 homes to sell to pay for cost of living, illnesses, career-ending injuries. As long as the gravy train of benefits, contracts, FIFA appointments and backroom deals to pay friends, family and other glaring examples of nepotism and cronyism was flowing like dysentery, there was no need to rock the boat or sue anybody. It churns one’s stomach to see this epidemic of in-your-face injustice and the degree to which some loved it so. It makes you want to feel no pity for them when they taste some presshah, as God doh like ugly.

One thing you know for certain: Just follow the money. When the carrion-money dries up then all the corbeaux does come out of the woodwork saying they are officially hungry, just like the victims they had been callously fleecing all along. It is unfortunately a sort of (very painful) blessing in disguise that financial hard times have hit ,and maybe not qualifying for the Copa America was a good thing, as it would have just covered up a festering maggot infected wound. Now the wound is more glaringly exposed and more painful but necessary surgery to cut out more of the rotten agents can be performed.

Time to call Glenn.

BraveHart,
Frico could have a serious point here. Glen is looking like a hungry animal, with the proverbial "chip on his shoulder" who refuses to be labelled as washed up. He is playing lots of minutes, scoring heavily, confidence is high and could be a good super sub for the Warriors in the last 25 mins in the World Cup Qualifiers. I am not saying longterm as we know he has only afew years left. You are a pragmatist and I know you are going to reconsider all your options. Glen we are watching you, so be on standby with your suitcase always packed for when the phone rings from T&T.

Plaza you looked, as Machel would say, like a boss!! dey breds. Smooth and skillful and friggin' fast.
From the video alone, those Salvadoreans would have realized that they have nabbed a quality player.
This stint will do you good and you will come back to T&T with new fire and belief for the qualifiers against St. Vincent, Guate and most importantly USA where by that time you will be in pipin' form.
You are a quality player who just needs to taste scoring NT international goals instead of your historical pattern of club goals

Big up.
Edgar was a li'l better than I expected. Enjoyed his stories.
Was also enjoying Corneal's contributions but he spoilt it a tad at the end when he tooted his son's horn a bit more than necessary, even though, point taken, many of the current men's NT stars are products of the youth team development that Anton worked on. But Vranes and others shared in the contributions too. Just sayin'.
Cave, always heard if him but never saw him in real life
Steve David is making this show quite a staple
Narada, very smart fellah with very good insight for a young man. Wants the heroes of old to be real enough for the youths to see and touch thus giving them something to emulate
We'll daiz what this show helps with.

Shocking that not a word from Renraw, at least not that I've heard.
When the pain gets shared around football circles, then there might be quicker galvanization for collective action and shared sacrifice to help Scampito.
What is astounding is how Uncle Jackulito could leave his decades-long right hand man to twist in the wind so. Nobody saying a word. Daiz de elephant in de room.
Latas, I say watch yuh back in thinking of taking this all on your back without any word / help from Scampito's supposed real friends in the football fraternity. You on yuh own as that money may never be seen again and is monkey smoke yuh pipe until an election makes you relevant.
Help I feel may come at the last minute from unexpected sources.
Lasana please do something to delve into these topics being treated with deafening silence.

Interesting. Like the group committee thing.
Some people there I like. Good to see Bertille back with a role. Need just one more real potent senior coach there in the technical committee but some such people are perceived tainted with off the field suff
Wonder what role he has for Gally, if he is interested in any post.
I personally like Waldrun very much & very sad to see him go. We goin' local it seems including BraveHart

Would love to hear what is causing this new or increased interest in T&T players by Central American teams
I think it is a good thing for toughening up our players & exposing them to the Central American style that the NT struggles to conquer.

Very very interesting developments with the infamous Scampito, former sidekick of the soon-to-be extradited & internationally sought Uncle Jackulito, aka Renraw. A good many months ago, maybe a couple years ago, there had been brief mention of the initial chapters of the Scampito, TTFF, financial worries saga, but then the story mysteriously went seemingly completely off the radar, while Uncle Tim, as some would say, efficiently managed the TTFF business (name curiously changed to TTFA).

Meanwhile, we now hear hot off the press, this very interesting detailed report from the daughter of Scampito that her dad is in serious financial distress, close to losing his home. Thanks to a lawsuit from Whim Rhisbergen. Scampito's good buddy Renraw, with known deep pockets for his friends, apparently was not a source of financial relief. Alarmingly, the daughter explained that Uncle Tim, ... get this, while managing a reported totally broke federation incapable of paying coaches, had made arrangements, to best of our our knowledge not known to the football loving public, maybe not to MOS, to pay Scampito some whoppin’ millions straight out of the TTFA funds. These monies were to be diverted, not-so-honestly from subventions from the national Sports Ministry. Huhyuhyai!!! Shocking!! It makes one wonder if these where the things on Uncle Tim’s mind before the TTFA elections, when he refused to volunteer financial records for the TTFA, and had the boldfaceness and disrespect to hand over the presidency after the AGM without an effin' audit. Well I hope the long overdue audit that DJW promised in just months, c/w years long absence with Uncle Tim, will shed light on this mafia operation and missing or misdirected monies.

What a TTFA bobol shocker, and only coming to light because one of the boys got caught holding the bag. I feel no sorrow for Scampito. All his friends could write all the articles in the world saying how much of a nice good mate he is, but history is showing that the chickens are coming home to roost and they looking to let Scampito be the Rotisserie chicken. Many say let Scampito bleed as his presumed sworn secrecy with Jackulito, Uncle Tim, Rodent and others is now proven to be counterproductive and hurting him where it hurts most. In de pocket, big time. He could be given a bligh if he would defect from this Mafia, and exposed the secrets of the local cosa nostra but that might be dangerous from him.

All I can say is we will be watching. Lasana, we need your investigative scoop skills here. This story is big, so much so that ah feel AG Loretta watching. Is Horner dey to shed some light? …

I had to log out and cool myself down. I just could not see us not playing in the Copa.
This is just how I felt after our women did not reach the WC. And they mirror each other too. Both teams had three chances to make it. Both teams missed out on penalties . And both teams lost it late on weak goals in their third and final chace.  :'( >:( :(  :-\  I need a stiff drink. I going with ah LLB instead of my usual malta.

Ah hear yuh. This football is real presshah to watch, and damn cruel for the players, but it is still a privilege to see T&T on TV participating
If I had to choose between seeing T&T playing with a loss vs not playing, I would still want to see us play in qualifiers like this.

Hartie boy, hard luck.

De players fail yuh.

I real sad, this hurts.

We still have the world cup to look forward to, I hope you get the tools to improve your team and recruit a few decent players because when one or two players out, we have nothing to draw from.

Good luck Hartie.

I have faith in you man.

Sometimes, we win, sometimes we lose, that's part of the game.

Let's learn and move on.

One thing I hope you do Harite, look to improve your team, there are many players out there.

Proud of you Sam that you eh waste dong de side and have a melt dong. I believe we can see the real effort that this side put in. It just was hard luck.

Before the demolition crew takes over ...

Very sad loss for a team that seemed to me to be trying very hard and was excellent at playing ball under pressure against a very physical Haiti. I thought our ball possession and one touch and first touch under pressure was better than ever before actually. Yes we did miss KJ and Plaza up front for those crosses, free kicks and several crosses into the box, and we did miss Ball-pest and Molino and Guerra (latter also recovering from injury), Everybody played well in my opinion. Jan was sensational except for one unlucky deflection-shift-the-wrong-way-goal. I see no need to bash Cyrus. We proved that even without Bateau, Carlysle Mitchell has re-established himself as a solid centerback, and showed he can handle stuff at this level. Remember he was our top central defender before he was sent off to exile in Korea and before Bateau came knocking on the door and Radanfah upped his game.

We will miss playing in the Copa. I grieve but it was not meant to be, and there is still football to play for. This team is showing very good midfield and defense depth (no Justin Hoyte, no Bateau), with need to get more depth in the potent strikers and replacements for Ball pest. Good news is that we will be seeing Molino by march 2016.

Good coaching tactics by BraveHart in my opinion. The loss makes it look like we were supposed to lose or inferior but I don't see it that way. Haiti is trouble always. Their keeper was scrappy but had wicked reflexes for every shot, deflection and potential own goal coming his way.
A for effort my Warriors. I know it hurts. No sweat, chin up and attack with full force against Vincy in the next 2 World Cup qualifiers.

Folks, this is it ... part 1 (for qualification to play in the Copa) ...
but at the same time there is a this-is-it part 2 (to qualify for the hex and World Cup).
Getting through part 1 will give us just what we need in terms of top quality games to sharpen for WC qualification, as a broke TTFA could not afford to easily arrange an equivalent schedule of friendlies.
So yes there is pressure on the boys, but doh stiffen up, as all is not lost if we lose to Haiti. There is still lots more to play for.
Still I see those Warriors as so hungry that they will conquer tonight after diggin' real deep.
Go Warriors, we are praying for you all.

Ok. Thanks for the heads up, as some still hoping that somehow KJ could find wiggle room to show up.

There seems to be a li'l twist on how KJ is leaving Cardiff.
Get the impression that he has to satisfy the contract with a loan deal, if he leaves now and later (seemingly summer) he would be free to sign wherever.
Not sure if the loan enterprise and the final destination are the same. Good luck KJ.

Kenwyne Jones: Cardiff striker 'in talks' with foreign club
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/35205546

By Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Wales Sport

Cardiff City striker Kenwyne Jones is in transfer talks with a foreign club, manager Russell Slade has revealed. Jones, 31, is out of contract at the end of the season and is one of the Bluebirds' highest earners. It is understood Cardiff are unlikely to demand a transfer fee and, if they do, it is expected to be nominal. "At this stage all I can tell you is that he's in dialogue with another football club abroad," Slade told the club's website.

Cardiff opened negotiations with Jones about a new contract in September, with Slade reiterating in November that he wanted the Trinidadian to stay. The 6ft 2in forward joined Cardiff in January 2014 as part of a swap deal that saw Peter Odemwingie move the other way to Stoke City.
He was Cardiff's top scorer last season despite spending the final six weeks of the campaign on loan at Bournemouth, helping them win promotion to the Premier League.

Jones was left out of the squad for Saturday's home match with Blackburn, which the home side won following Joe Mason's second-half goal.
