We lost Molino, now the magical too-good-to-be-a-true replacement: Kern "Ball pest" Cummings
To be brutally honest, Guerra you got selected without knowing this latter crisis would happen to Ball pest.
So Tullah, against Haiti, play like your life depends on it, as this is your chane to show us and Big Mag why we thought you could have been it
Hart is watching you. Perform breddah and secure that contract and hit that right foot to sink Haiti. Guerra you can do it.
Do it for Ball pest.

Good journalism by Lasana again.
Some juicy insights, courtesy Cornell. Thank you.
Clearly still smarting from being retired by the coach, as he put it, but good points nevertheless.
Great player you were and still are Cornell.

Very very hurt by this news and obviously the missed opportunities that will occur as result...
but try and look on the brighter side, Keron, you made it out alive. Your life and family matters more.
So try your best to chin up Keron and same to all the fans who marvel at your football skills.
You'll be back (as a footballer) with prayers .... just like Molino will be.

Football / Re: FPATT Thread
« on: December 22, 2015, 12:59:21 PM »
Does FPATT still exist?
If it does, who's at the helm?
If not, is it being reborn to function again?
That's one vote that needs to be counted along with the coaches association vote during TTFA elections.
Represent people. Daiz 2 votes that could protect the country's football future in the next rongs and also now.

36
That's right Contro. TTFA as usual was lookin'' to see who would blink and the Warriors gave them the Brigo look.
TTFA probably did some blinking when they saw that they could not divide the Warriors and building rage :pissedoff: from Flex, Tallman, Sam and others. ;D
Good arrangement. Happy for everybody. Players probably reduced their guard when they saw some conciliatory movement. Iz all supposed to be confidential so no more on that.

For the future my Warriors: All true contractual arrangements must be in writing. Hope that all future benefits, stipends, whatever are written as signed contracts and fully executed. Nothing less. Protect allyuh self.
Players had to act and use their leverage to get what they want and you guys timed this perfectly. Scary but it worked.
Good going Jones, Jan and all those behind the scenes who helped to put sense in the head of the TTFA board of directors
Good going DJW, but we watchin' yuh good. We glad Uncle Tim is gone but we watchin' you.
Lasana, over to you to keep them honest and buss de files later.

I see. Nice to see that you have that much confidence in hm Deeks.  I respect that so doh dig no horrors. Encouraging ... but ah still watchin' closely. Just cyah find the real proof of his top quality coaching pedigree, that you are privy to.  So for now, leh we say, he eh fail no test. Daiz damn good considering the stuff goin' on around him.

It's becoming arduous to make the T&T team.
By Inshan Mohammed.

No chemo for TTFA cancer as footballers continue to suffer the same fate.

Life insures that when things can't possibly get any worse, it always does. Below is an insight into the Trinidad and Tobago men's senior team before, all of the latest fiasco that is happening with the Soca Warriors players who is threatening to strike if past payments are not met by their employers soon.....

Flex, forgot to say that I like that TTFA cancer reference. Big up.

On another note, it is very important what you are doing to highlight what is good about our talent as these jewels on the field could get lost in the blur of administrative dysfunction off the field.
T&T is NOT to be defined by Jackilito and those cut from that cloth but by the tons of ball wizards on the field that shine IN SPITE of the nonsense above.

It could be argued that per capita, we have as much or more football talent than anywhere in the world.
See it from the perspective of US authorities or Mexican authorities who must be saying;
"We are 340 effin million people (in the case of Mexico, something like 60 mill?), with the best facilities, top coaches, serious professional league pedigree, money to prepare years in advance, ... wtf is it that could have thus blinkin' 3rd world country called T&T, of only just over 1 million people, with a bunch of dotish banana-republic, corrupted, clown-administrators, and maybe one or two serious coaches, finding themselves in a situation giving "us" trouble with 4-4, 3-3 and 1-1 scores and rated as playing the most amazing game in Gold Cup history?"

Talent T&T, seriousper capita talent, that the world is about to discover, if given a chance.
Imagine if we played a country equivalent in size to just a town side (town population 1000 say) in one corner of little Anguilla, not the whole country Anguila eh .... and say they draw with us like how we drew with Mexico and US etc. Daiz de kinda stunning disbelief and amazement that we would have and daiz how US and Mexico seeing it. A complete David sticking it to Goliath. What is it that they have, these Trinitarios? Go Warriors.

Saw that. More good news Seeker.
We need to see more real life stories like this that prove crime does not (in the long) run pay.
It's not worth it and locals must understand that.

Deeks, Daiz yuh boy. Happy to see him contribute when the prior coach abandoned ship.
The girls need all the games and match practice that they can get.
We are in uncertain times, and hopefully if we ever see the ship steadied, this will bear fruit.
Best wishes Lady Warriors.

Delicious article Flex. Underappreciated talent. What a beautiful thing if these fellahs could get a chance to live up to their potential. Ah feel yuh could tweak the article slightly and give more juice on Hoyte, Mitchell and also Peltier and Marvin.
On another note, pity that so many with influence can't appreciate the human resource value of these soldiers whom we call Warriors.

Well done Mekeil!
Tasting gold like this in a foreign country is a damn good habit.
Good for your CV. Your value is going up and yuh pipin' hot for Haiti on jan 8th if these kakaholes in TTFA get their act together
and doh sabotage our football.

44
Interesting comments.

I still wonder if there are considered to be any other contenders for technical director, or as they say "director of football"
Also still want to know from the elders who would be good coach choices for the various teams above.
Btw, the crisis with Creece is not surprising. Either we doh vet coaches or we too broke to have unwounded prospects, as opposed to these characters who probably cyah find a wok based on their damaged reputations abroad.
Molesting children or druggin' them like Cosby is where you end up when you start on this slippery slope.
Parents eh tolerating anybody who has the slightest sniff of these character flaws.
In his case, iz all ovah the Internet. People knew long time.
Only in T&T.

As technical director, this gentleman KW, may have meant well but would a panel of top coaches think that a person like him have enough pedigree to sit in this crucial role? Deeks, and the other elders, would love to hear who you think could be technical director?

46
Being sickened to the point of being nauseated on a large scale is what it will take to galvanize the public and then the stakeholders into action to force change
So therefore we need to be actually sickened some more. Therefore another week of efferies before any serious national discussion on the impasse.
Then too late for visas for some to go Panama or some tata of the sort. Well done TTFA.

47
Wish the best for the kid but nobody eh helpin' nobody in T&T.
Best bet is some anonymous charitable donation.

48
Stand yuh ground Jan. I mean it.
Tell the TTFA to eff off. This exploitation must end. They looking for you to blink first. Open yuh eye big like Brigo and watch dem in dey face
The footballers by themselves cyah be shouldering the responsibility of keeping these crooks in the TTFA honest.
The fans and the whole country must take stock of the ugliness made endemic in the kingdom of Jackulito.
We must all suffer together or do some intervention together instead of riding your backs like leaches on a donkey.
Your sacrifice will liberate others coming after, from unending exploitation

49
Promising. Better than what Jackulito or Uncle Tim would do

Co-sign. Jan 8 is the most important day in T&T's recent soccer history.
A win will catapult us into a market that will have lasting impact for years to come. Words cyah describe
and will give the vital prep for the rest of the World Cup campaign and make our young players grow and some will make it bigger.
However, before we get ahead of ourselves, yuh cyah send troops out to fight without taking care of them. Sorry.
It's more symbolic than truly financial for many. KJ & others don't need the money. They are fighting for what is right in our shitty football culture. No stipend deal honored, no game and I say hard luck for all of us lookin' to ride dey back selfishly.

Football / Re: Ross Russell follows Mourinho out of CFC's door
« on: December 17, 2015, 08:35:50 PM »
Asking price ? That I don't know but the Caribbean, including Trinidad & Tobago, I consider a relatively low pay zone for the struggling industry of football and therefore it is more than just a shitty salary that is keeping some of these foreign born coaches here, especially after being employed in a cultural zone that has a history of exploitation, unprofessionalism, TTFA inspired verbal contracts etc.
All I can say is that I believe that Vranes, for whatever reason, one can never know, gives the impression that he would play less hardball than Fenwick in negotiating a contract. Not a good thing for him really. He is an adopted Trini and knows how to make results happen for the teams that he coaches.

Football / Re: Ross Russell follows Mourinho out of CFC's door
« on: December 17, 2015, 05:34:01 PM »
Not surprised

Russell is an inspirational leader, but I thought still a coach with a ways to go on the learning curve if yuh talking how to qualify for & perform at Concacaf club level.
Always thought it was a mistake getting rid of Vranes. A lowish-energy kinda guy, funny Serbian accent, no bling but he's been there with our World Cup youths and he eh stupid at all and already proved how to win, good with organizing defenses which are the local coach weaknesses. Good with youths. :oikes living in Trinidad after than painful traumatic Yugoslavian war. Asking price cheap. What more yuh want.
With tough budgets, the only locals who are tried and tested for this kinda high-stakes-get-us-the-results campaign, that we can afford in Trinidad, would be Vranes, Gally. Fenwick making style and playing hard ball with salary plus his bridges now supposedly burnt for good anyway.
Eve with some more exposure and courses will become a top coach but dah kinda pressure is too early for him now.
Answer for CFC: Vranes. Eat humble pie and call him back.

54
Why is 3 weeks of DJW being compared to 4 years of Tim Kee?

I think Sam is very nervous & worried. No money. Audit not done. Nobody knows how bad it really is. PFL on verge of shutting down. Panic setting in .... But iz not just him worrying
