That is far from the case. If Blatter and co. were concerned about the airing of their dirty laundry, the CONCACAF Integrity Committee Report would not have been as scathing and promising further action. FIFA is, in fact, incentivized to see football thrive in T&T to further embarrass Jack. So, it will be up to Tim Kee to leverage the moment. The fact that he had been meeting with the players before the CONCACAF report came out should also be considered. IMHO, the man should be getting a bit more credit for his efforts.
I don't view what Tenor has stated as being inconsistent with what you have stated.
That's because you're not paying attention to what's being said. The difference is in where the two credit the impetus.

It doesn't exist.Not to my knowledge but I think we can tage a page from a country like Uruguay and they way they run their professional league. They have a population of just over 3 million but more importantly for their size they develop quality players and they're a power house in world football.
Their professional league has been established since the 1930's so it's well structred, definitely something we can learn from by trying to consult with them because given their population the league seems to be doing well.

Uruguay football is steeped in tradition, double the population (which is significant), and surrounded by football giants. While there are certainly items we can learn from their league and others, the market circumstances are not really comparable.

I think there has to be a bit of a reality check when it comes to the prospects of professional football in T&T. First, can anyone name another country in the world with a population of 1.5 million that has a THRIVING professional football league? It doesn't exist.
Second, T&T football has, by and large, come out of a 30-year era dominated by one person who, with the enabling of the world governing body of football, seems to have queered any semblance of goodwill for the sport to such an effect that the entire game has failed to produce a single recent positive and proven result connected to T&T football beyond the qualification to the Gold Cup; which really should be given more credit by fans. Think of Warner's abrupt departure from T&T football like that of Saddam Hussein and ask yourself how have things been going in Iraq since that vacuum was created?
Third, there is a government in place (democratically elected by the people), prominently featured with the full knowledge of the people the same individual, who dominated football in T&T and seems to have taken on the Samuel Jackson character in Django Unchained and represents a constituency that is not football mad. Furthermore, since his exit from FIFA and football in general, this same high government official does not seem to have any incentive to support football; in fact, human nature would indicate he would have every motive to watch the sport burn now that it is no longer in his control; allegedly
Fourth, you have a corporate and merchant class that is largely ambivalent to the sport and sells goods on an island with very little outside competition for goods and services or need to distinguish themselves from the pack. Whatever, community support or advertising is spent through the sport is largely done under a charity model with no expected return on investment. With few exceptions (digicel, bmobile, for instance) corporations have very little incentive to be associated on a large scale with the sport AND the people who are part of the football family don't seem to be disciplined enough to develop brand loyalty and actively call for companies to support football and boycott those who don't support football.
Under these conditions, it is almost a miracle that there are professional teams much less a national team program functioning. Things could change but it will take a level of consciousness that may have been numbed by the decades of bread and circus platforms and cynical leadership politicians have known all too well to present and lull an increasingly docile public to sleep.

Camps and Groden were nothing but patsies who couldn't suppress a sneeze at a play much less any opposition mounted against Jack. But here's where you really fall down; if you remember, Jack didn't hold an electable office. You may also want confirm that Tim Kee was present during any of the meetings where Camps was voted in. How's that for help?

Everyone knows what Jack & Co. did, that's not the point. The reality is there is nothing Tim Kee or FIFA can do to Jack while he maintains his level of influence in the govt. The courts will do nothing, the opposition doesn't have the numbers or the guile, and there is not enough sense of outrage among the public to hold Warner accountable. So Tim Kee or anyone else running the TTFF from this point have to eat some humble pie, manage the situation as best as they can, and use this era to learn to efficiently operate a federation because they are on their own.

Hmmm, this is not a surprise and further confirms the notion that FIFA's action was politically motivated. Money handed out by the man running against the FIFA President is considered a "bribe" while money handed out by the FIFA President is considered "development". Perhaps Jack's main infraction was not recognizing the set up.

The have to hang in there for the long run. Like I said these guys have option to choose from when things don't go their way. And as of now the the closest oufit that appears to be a stable pro side is Connection. But one club can't do it alone. There needs to be stability and consistency from clubs in the proleaugue to make the other elements of society want to be a TT profootballer.
I'm not really talking about the Westmooring or Football Factory Crowd; though the who "take the jamming" thing is unnecessary and folks go out of their way to make it miserable for those players. Too much break foot mentality; I don't blame their parents at all for keeping their children away. That is another issue altogether though; even though for national selection; it really shouldn't make a difference where the players take their daily talents.
My point is there are a number of US-based players; college, A-League, NASL, and MLS who are available and able to bring an element and experience that the current group doesn't have. Either coaches like Shabazz are only able to manage the type of local player on display or there is a deliberate effort to keep national team football a roots game. Either way, our football is doomed unless the decision makers on the touchline are changed and we get a better brand of individual to guide our players.

All those players were mentored by bright, well read people who provided guidance in those players' overall development. While most of the top professional footballers may not be scholars, at least their leaders tend to be bright people. You really can't say that for the current national team set up.
Also, you can't compare other countries, especially larger ones to T&T, when it comes to from where their players are drawn. Our selection is already severly restricted because of our population and we can't afford to do what others with greater resources do.
Finally, the players you listed were exceptional talents who were able to develop outside of T&T. Yorke and Latas left young and their experiences in hostile environments enabled them to produce. I think names like Hislop, Nakhid, Chinapoo, and John are more appropriate examples that fit the narrative of the kind of players that have to included in any T&T squad. What I am advocating is not a team full of philosphers or book worms but rather one that field players from various elements of our society and the most glaring omission from the current squad are educated young men who have the brain power and discipline the current batch of players have so far failed to show.

When I hear and see how Shabazz navigates through the press conference we are reminded about the importance of leadership. The team is rudderless in its reaction to challenges, opportunities, and general awareness of their surroundings; this is not possible with a leader that is not only respected by his followers but also his adversaries. Shabazz does not have that aura and when the time comes for him to help his players reach deep to deliver that needed result; nothing but blanks are produced.
Another item that strikes me; and I know this may get the "roots" folks vex; but it seems all the players are cut from the same social and experiential cloth. How many of these players have a college degree or what's the average in GC passes? How many grew up with the experience and life lessons of a family business? While book sense and privilege isn't an end all be all, having people on a team with differing backgrounds can provide that needed rise when others fall flat. With this present team, including the coaches, the diversity and depth of experiences of Trinbagonians seem to woefully fall short, much like its performances for the past 5 years. I really believe the net for developing AND utilizing players for the national team has to cast wider. Perhaps, that will start with a coach who is not only book smart but also can relate with players of differing backgrounds.

With T&T he was invisible for 6 and 1/2 years in the 7 he was there, all of a sudden he found his tounge.
