But the thing is in the rest of the world is based on cities, but given our make up it has to be based on island states which is where the bizareness comes in b/c of nationality. I could be from Barataria and gladly play ball for Connection if my best offer is from there vs Jabloteh/BBP; but would my heart be in playing for the trident? I know cricket is different but imagine Messi playing for a Brazil franchise  ???
Tevez played there

Jamal Jack is a good left footed player, be careful though, he is ah next Cyd Gray, he have a temper. Didn't he get a read card for T&T already, I think it was in de 2007 Gold Cup.

But he is a good player, left football and have some speed. Terry go break him out well.

Central FC is de new Tobago United, how much Tobago players they have now, 6 ?

Nah... TU was always at the foot of the table ;D

They held U-15 screening in Tobago last Saturday. I was told that the person who coordinated it was Mr. Lewis from T'dad. I suppose it could be Leonson. Reach out to Fuentes, he should have their schedule.

Mr wonder, i wonder if you know that T&T football, especially the senior program is in a rebuilding phase??

yuh must be realistic in your expectations, and the sad reality is that we don't have the quality to compete with the best in concacaf @ the moment, hek, we barely made it to the goal cup and only managed two goals from open play in the whole digicel tournament.

right now it have man who barely wants to play for the national team bc of how they were treated in the past. to besides, we almost didn't make it here, but now that we are here, lets not expect to much.

on another note, no one comes to lose except they are being paid too, the lads was out foxed and out played, it's as simple as that, and i doubt that was their intentions in the first place, so lets move on and hope that the boys get ah result tonight,

if not then there's tons of room for improvement, and leaving this tourney early is not the end of the world since we've seen worst under austin jack warner's tenure.  be patient, rome was not build in an hour.
What rebuilding phase u talking about?is that your excuse for how we playing?if u rebuilding u don't start at the top u start from the ground and go up.

Look at the impressive list of foreign based professional players we have and T&T can't put a descent team together,i can't understand how we are playing better than everybody and still loseing and all we can say is the other team lucky, when will we become lucky,is it luck that got us to Germany or how we played?

Shabazz,Latapy etc etc  was rebuilding too and were never given a chance, now all of a sudden Rome was not built in a day,i am waiting to see how long it will take to build Rome.
Bitter, I eh dragging you in, but Coops sounding real embittered.

It has been reported that newly promoted Super League team Malabar FC, that is based in Sport Minister's Anil Roberts constituency, has been receiving more funding than any Pro League teams in the sum of $140,000 per-month. They are also offering higher salaries than many Pro League teams can pay their own players. The team is allegedly benefiting a whole lot from Life Sport funding, a government agency designed to help sport, community groups and individuals in support of their plans, programmes and activities that foster sport development, facilitate athletic performance and engender a spirit of community living.

While other Pro League teams are receiving government aid of $50k - $83k per month, Central FC are the only Pro League team not receiving any government funding. In spite of this they are still determined to put T&T back on the map for foreign teams to visit. As a result of undertaking such ventures they are also aiming to build a stronger community.

This is some very interesting facts here Flex.

I heard Anil made sure Malabar FC got into the Super League despite the fact that they did not qualify, he added a 13 spot especially for them.

Cant believe the local press not jumping all over this.

Where is Lasana !!!

Sando, Bethel Utd won their protest and were admitted as the 13th team. That's TTFA's business.

What do you mean, you're lost? You didn't see the lame horse game or what? Yes, K. Jones and K. Daniel played in that game. Did they make a difference? The answer is "no". Even if they didn't like the system they were using, or was clueless of what was expected of them, their quality of play should have still shine through..  The cream always rises to the top. They looked clueless, skillless, and didn't make a difference. Keon Daniel might be a good club player but when it comes to international play he is f@$king clueless. As far as Mr. Jones is concerned, it's like beating a dead horse, he is useless. That's my perception of those two players until they prove otherwise.
So who in the current squad have demonstrated that they could cut it?
And that is a good question. Maybe I should ask you the same question. For me, personally, no one. After seeing those four scoreless international friendlies and the way they played in those games made me realize how far football has fallen in TnT. I was very disappointed with what I saw. It was a reflection of everything that is wrong with football in Trinidad.
Nevertheless, I was looking at certain players to excel but they didn't. Players like Joevin Jones, Kevin Molino, Darren Mitchell, Marcus Joseph, Shahdon Winchester, Attaulah Guerra, and Cornell Glen.

I think we have quite a few who can cut it.... the key is finding the right balance on the field between "Chiefs and Indians"... In my opinion we don't have enough "legs and lungs" and as a result we get stretched way too easily and exploited as a result. Men always crying down functional players as unskilled without appreciating their value to the team on a whole... the "unsung heroes".

167
But isn't that the same f@#king deadbeat team that lost to Romania, Estonia, Peru, and tied a lame horse team in Belize. Best fit my arse. What happen to players like Rundell Winchester, Darren Mitchell, Molino, and some of the younger players that might be the best fit for the team. These are the same dead beat players. What the f@#k?????
You know like dude said to me in a different post. Give him a chance. Yeah, we will see. You ain't a miracle worker, huh. Okay.
??? Yuh lorse mih dey breds. Kenwyne, Carlos and Keon played in those games? ???

It seem as though the NYL has not been funded this year. That competition is usually well on the way by this time. The Coordinators have indicated that they have no information as to whether the NYL will take place this year. Another step forward? :frustrated: :cursing: :bs:

I eh go lie, bleeder passing was crisp and neat, but the boy needs tuh be able to put in ah good tackle, or @ least put ah body on ah fella since he's not the fastest thing in tugs.

one thing that really bothers me about T&T football is the fact that we allow teams to run @ us in numbers, this has always been our achilles heel from the inception.

why can't we learn how to slow down teams by committing smart fouls which in turn will allow our defense time to reorganize?? we've never been able to crack this rudimentary code, fack it's so simple that ah monkey could do it! so why haven't they been able to correct this basic flaw.

allowing you opponents too much time on the ball, especially in your half equals added pressure on your defense. this is simple sh!t TTFF, come on man!
Just look at him after he passes the ball

Loaded article but what jumped out at me the most was the most simplistic of things - the US has how many Memorials and Museums for the Holocaust (for which it was not directly responsible) yet none for the Native Americans?  :o

Anyway, Al-Jazeera deleted it after the furore the article caused. I don't see why though.

They then re-published it on 21 May after being criticised extensively.

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2013/05/2013521184814703958.html

Yuh slipping man Toppa... the "US" not 'responsible' for any of these monuments/museums either.  Not only that, but there are monuments to Native Americans either existing or in the works, and at least one museum.
Oh boy...  :yellowcard:
