I could only imagine the condescending discourse taking place with those heady high minded yanks and the laughter and how they must see us as absolute jokey third world gumbies. and this opposition leader has the nerve to talk about she did a good job and wants to lead the country for a second time when our nation falls apart every time it rains with no proper drainage anywhere. these politicians should be so ashamed of themselves. BTW thank DJW for another big blunder. bloody monkey man.
Is it really condescending if it is the truth?

VERY responsible comments by Dennis during the post-match press conference. When asked about the composition of the teams he would field in October, Dennis noted that he would respect the integrity of the hex. Other teams still have much to play for, so Trinidad & Tobago would play its role in making teams fight for points.

Responsible? Playing second fiddle to other teams who are not as talented outside of Mexico is not responsible ...

You're sugar coating seeker
I'm sure he meant responsible as in professional which would be the responsible thing to do  ;D

if you go back and read some of the old posts from as way back in 2005 you'd find that we are rehashing the same arguments. In 2012 Flex rated some of these current players and the criticisms given to them are still the same today.  http://www.socawarriors.net/forum/index.php?topic=56764.msg799763#msg799763

Ja got it done without these guys.

West Morgan (leicester city )
Gareth mccleary (reading)
Giles Barnes (houston dynamo)
Jobi mcanuff(reading)
Adrian marriappa (watford)
Michael Hector (chelsea)
Leon Baily (bayer leverkusen)
Clayton donaldson (birmingham city)

other than Old Captain Morgan those names mean nothing as they are not impact players for their various clubs.

Deeks I never saw them play but that Belmont team with Bird, Sacky, Plucky, Blip et al was legendary. Heard stories from Sacky who coached me at U 14. Met either Bird or Plucky in Brooklyn many years later and he too has some interesting stories to tell.

No idea about the stadium.

But in 1979 the N. Zone final between Fatima and John D at the Queen's Park Oval had about 30 000 people.

The place was Ram. It was the third encounter between the two as the first two had been drawn.

I was a yute so if the older heads want to correct me, feel free.

VB

I too was a yute then but I don't think there was 30,000  people there because the oval only holds 25,000 so it could have been an easy 20,000. Meh breds who was playing for Fatima still have news paper clippings of that game.

Not a good place for this kid to be

Does not look good. That is a demotion as far as I am concern. All yuh think Kazakhstan is a better option?

Not necessarily. It relly eh no different than how EPL teams does loan some players to Championship teams. De fact is he has never played an MLS game for NYCFC, and he needs some playing time. A few of our players have been loaned out to USL or NASL teams while they were in the MLS. Kevan George, Carlyle Mitchell, Julius James, and Yohance Marshall come to mind.

At least he will be playing and have a greater opportunity for development than sitting on the bench in MLS without playing.

Eh heh yeah sure

In this instance I'm talking about the organization and how they do things as it is not a good fit for his development

Thanks for you service Carlos
You too Kenwyne

Need to reiterate this again. Team looks much better without them.

Thank you fellas you've done yeoman service

Stop smoking crack.  No way this team looks anything near better without KJ.  Allyuh must learn to put bias aside and be objective sometimes.
Are you sure I'm the one smoking crack?  Look at your statement, it is more inferential of bias than mine. Anyway up until recently I was an advocate of KJ but the reality of late is that he doesn't bring anything of value on the field.

Quote
Lawrence said in a post match interview on Thursday, that his men would be taking a lot of positives from their last match, as he believes his team lost only because of individual errors, rather than tactical problems.

According to Lawrence the tempo of the United States game was also badly affected by the high altitude conditions, for which he took his troops to Denver, Colorado two weeks earlier in an attempt to acclimatise.

Sophisticated way of saying it wasn't his fault
