Remember when FF and I had drinks with Brown in NYC, wow, seems like decades ago.  RIP Weary, fellow Laker, she'd be happy with last year's title

That's the biggest difference between him and many others versus Dwight, Russell etc....anytime your discomfort with growth gets the better of you, you stop growing

Respek, I taught there from 92-93.  Grovey was a boss, one of the coolest guys you'd know.  RIP

He might not want to end up as pub trivia: Name a NT coach who never actually coached a single match during his tenure.

While this matter is one on which the advisable path is for the NT coach not to make a pronouncement, it's just the sort of circumstance that Terry Fenwick is likely to have a more than mild opinion on. The thing is,  whichever way yuh map it,  he's in the crosshairs. The heavy lifting is not mandatory for everyone.

Water carriers have a role and silence is also a temporary weapon.

Keith Look Loy and Terry Fenwick both have valid points/reason.

Fenwick wants him alone to contact foreign players because he is the head coach but Look Loy decided to contact a couple (Moore & Deleon) because he knows their father very well and did so without letting Fenwick know. But his intentions were good.

Richard Piper apparently is dragging his feet as far as passport goes.

Noah Powder should have a passport because he played for T&T at youth level, unless it expired.

Hope they patch things up and get along with business because they started off very good.

Let everyone do their jobs they were hired for and if for some reason they need help, then of course you seek it from the other members.

They have to work as a team and respect each other position.

Agreed

Some select "older" players will be in the mix.  If there attitudes are right probably looking at Hyland, Molino, JJ, Bateau and a few others.  If KC bringing it who knows.  For sure the right direction is to blood the youth, so let's see

Thanks all for the vote of confidence. It's not any different to what I've been doing all along. The biggest difference is that I will be able to ensure that at a minimum, the information on eligible players is stored in a central database, and then they can be monitored by technical staff and a decision can be made on whether or not they can make a positive impact/contribution at the national level.

Guys, for 2006 WC,  did Don Leo came before the Hex or during the Hex?

During

Sometimes we have to put a foreign coach tenure into context at the time. Beenie did not do any developmental as far as I can remember. What was going to happen or planned when he leaves was the  other Dutch coaches(Wim Risbergen) together with Lincoln and other local coaches would do the development under the Dutch football model. Well that did not worked. The players had strike when Jack did not give them their money, and Lincoln and Wim got in a near blows situation. Correct me on that.

We were back to square one on development once again.

Yup

Control, I admire your passion and belief.  And yes, we need all eligible players with TT passports at all levels, but most importantly we need structure at all levels and plans (including finance) that are implemented with governance and accountability around the same.

The vikey vie approach has to die, it's early days yet for Wallace and team but i am hopeful, so let's get this show on the road.... hopefully onwards and upwards
