General Discussion / Re: What happened to the Aranjuez Crash Thread?
« on: June 02, 2007, 12:46:04 PM »
"There is a 70 per cent of road accidents, fatal road accidents, that we have to deal with. What about all the other reckless drivers who are not driving under the influence of alcohol who are causing accidents," Persad-Bissessar said.

This is the major problem on the roads, yes drunk driving is a big thing to try to stop, but we really need to clamp down on the reckless men out there with no regard for the law or for anyone else on the roads!
- When man driving on the wrong side of the road against oncoming cars to pass traffic because he feel he more important that anyone else
- When man want to overtake on shoulder
- Run red light all kinna ten seconds after the light change
- flying down the road at twice the speed limit

Worse case all these things now does get you a jokey $200 fine, dat not stopping anyone. Man need to loose dey license for at least a 6 months for these offenses, and next time is jail.

Anyway good to see we finally doing something about the drunk driving.

« on: July 05, 2006, 06:08:09 PM »
To have one more game for the English media to:

1. Talk about 1966
2. Say that they are better than the teams playing and should be here instead
3. Say that none of these players could make the English side
4. Blame Ronaldo for their loss to Portugal
5. Build up hype for how they going to win Euro 2008

Sorry I in the UK and them men just driving me crazy so I had to vent.

74
This morning they are saying Rooney should apologise (Even though he claims it was an accidnet) so he can avoid a five match ban which FIFA are considering.

Even the anti English of you have to agree it is not 100% clear cut that it was deliberate, yet FIFA want tot hrow the book at him.

Figo on the other hand head butts someone and FIFA don't want to know. ::)

Soo right.... its 200% clear its deliberate!
Rooney, Crouch and Figo should get a ban

Football / Jack to Gillingham?
« on: July 03, 2006, 01:37:00 PM »
Gills complete Jack deal.
Skysports.

Gillingham have ended their pursuit of a new goalkeeper after announcing the signing of Dundee's Kelvin Jack. The experienced Trinidad & Tobago international has endured a mixed summer, having been all set to play in his country's first ever World Cup game against Sweden only to be sidelined in the pre-match warm-up.
Jack did, though, return for T&T's last group game against Paraguay and impressed sufficiently to win a move to England.
The 30-year-old will now join up with international team-mates Brent Sancho and Ian Cox at Priestfield, all but certain to start next season as the club's number one following the departures of Jason Brown and Paul Crichton.

2006 World Cup - Germany / Re: England vs Portugal
« on: July 03, 2006, 06:15:59 AM »
England simply were no shows at this WC along with Brazil and they should count themselves as fortunate to get to the quarterfinals.
how were those 2 teams fortunate?
with the groups they were drawn in, a quarterfinal was the least they were expected to do.

ah know Rooney is a thug, has no behaviour and gets frustrated easily..but me ent so sure bout the deliberate balls stamping thing..if yuh look at his eyes he was trying to backheel the ball lol
is all in he eyes..allyuh remeber that elbow Bergkamp rest on Lee Bowyer a few seasons back?
looks like Ronaldo trying to do damage control for his drama queen actions too lol

Uuummm....I think Brazil (of the 2) reeaalll fortunate Ghana eh have qualitiy finishers or that killer instinct infront of goal (and Ghana was unlucky too....cuz ah remember de ball just coming off Dida foot on de line)....to put ball in de back ah de net cuz dey did gone home long, long time....

As for all de debate over Rooney/Ronaldo, as far as I could see from reading these posts, de English fans are sore losers....dey let de hype before de tournament get to dey heads and now dey cyar take dey licks like big hard back adults and let it be....the fact is England play real tata in dis tournament and amen dey gone home...

So the death threats against Crouch make Trini's good losers do they?

Rooney deserved to get sent off, although not for stamping, for shoving. The foot in the nads was an accident, Rooney did not mean to do that.

Shocing Ronaldo, whilst probably deserved, was not prefessional and Rooney got sent off for it. We lost on penalties, end of story.

Paulo Ferrera and Carvalho did the decent thing and shared symapthy with teh team mates. Ronaldo just took delight in getting his team mate sent off.

tell me, after the pictures of Ronaldo going ot the bench and winking, how is he supposed to go back to United?

Delusional!!!

1. Crouch cheated.. we actually have a reason to be upset... England does not
2. Rooney did stamp him intentionally. Maybe not to hit him in the balls, but it was definately an intentional stamping.
3. The referee himself said that he saw Rooney stamp the man and sent him off for that.
4. Ronaldo never once gestured for a card... you are making speculations about what he said.
5. Let someone stamp on Beckhams precious jewels... how you think the great heroic English players will react?? I suppose you think they will smile and laugh it off over a pint or 2???!!!

Bottom line... you lost becuase you were not good enough.
Rooney got sent off because he is a thug, not because of anything Ronaldo did.
You need to accept responsibilty and stop looking for scape goats.

Football / Re: England talking about unfairness
« on: July 02, 2006, 04:11:14 PM »
Brazil has alredy made more excuses than england about their loss..yet you continue to talk about england.

now u wanna stop focusing on this and look at every other team that has made excuses and see how similar the situation is. I can tell u now.the players no they didnt perform this w.c and they are sorry for it.

Ok.. tell me what excuses Brazil or the other teams have made other than internal ones. That is team related issues.
If England would just say, "we were not good enough and Rooney was silly so that did not help us.", everyone would be happy. But they just cant do that! Have to talk a set of rubbish about poor Ronaldo and the ref when they did nothing wrong.

Football / Re: England talking about unfairness
« on: July 02, 2006, 03:31:16 PM »
But if u actually read that..and this is truthful on a neutral basis..england arent really blaming anyone.
Gerrard says he would never do what ronaldo did to his liverpool team mates.
J.cole comments on the refeering- card waving
and john terry tells the truth.

and honestly..any team does this. Brazil alredy have. they said they wern't " prepared " enough .
You focus more on england than you do on trinidad and tobago.

hmm lets see....
I want to stomp on beckham balls in front of Gerrard and see what he would do. Probably he would sit quietly in the corner and smile, what a great guy!

Lets look at some of the English statements:
"Wayne Rooney won't get any blame from me because I love him and he's done so much for this team."
More stupidity because he should get blame for what he did, take some responsibility for your actions.
"He's also going to do so much for England in the future as well."
Just more of the same baseless building up of players.
"I've seen Ronaldo going over giving the card and I think he's bang out of order. "
WRONG!!!... never happened. When did he ever gesture for a card.
"Any other team, any other player, they go down the ref gives a foul but we are honest. "
Cry babies...and wrong again!. Any team can say this. This is just silly. I have seen plenty players go down easy and not get free kicks this world cup. Starting with Brazil yesterday.

More English honesty talk.

Ohh they make me sick. I am so glad they lost. What a pile of rubbish talk. They are so quick to make an excuse and look for a scape goat. Its never something they did its always something done to them. The just cant except loosing. Maybe its because the media builds them up to believe they are the greatest team ever, I am not sure where it comes from.

I am suprised I could not see any halos on the english players heads.. what a pack of absolute angels!
Stamping on balls and pulling man by the hair, all perfectly fair challenges, just part of the game.... pooooor England!

Dey get hit in dey foot...dey holding toatie and bawling.

It should be an automatic yellow for just plain BAD lying.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbeshrhA3Xo&search=rooney%20sent%20off

heres a different angle..watch rooneys eyes.
from the other angle i thought yeh he must have done it on purpose..but he was fouled before that so it was bad refeering.
but this angle it kinda looks less deliberate. but then again..u always got some idea so ill let u decide

Sorry Jub still looks deliberate (and painful!). He was trying to kick him, maybe not trying to aim for his balls, but thats still a red card, sorry.

steupps.. I ent see one portugese player gesture for a card. let Cole hold he arse yes.
Again they seem upset that Rooney was not allowed to get away with it.

i so tired of this England "holier than thou" attitude. It makes me so sick. Ask Sancho about that!

Football / Re: FIFA to investigate Rooney sending-off

well somebody explain dis to me eh

rooney stomp man in he groin = red card
ah head butt in full view from figo = yellow card

is dey card system all depends on dey angle dey referee was standing or not...

investigate figo too

crouch pull a man by the hair to score = no card (and a goal)

investigate crouch too
investigate them all ... but Rooney deserve what he getting.

not in germany rooney was to shocked to ronaldo the cheat is ronaldo

Rooney stamp on a man balls but the cheat is Ronaldo???.. what sh*t you talking?

Everyone seems to admit Rooney deserves a red card but England fans seem upset that Rooney did not get away with it.
So they are upset they were not allowed to cheat (again).
Justice was served.. Red card for a red card offence. End of story.

But how did ronaldo see clearly what happened when owen hargreaves did not. obviously the ref didnt either as ONCE again i say he didnt giv nuttin until ronaldo start talkin.
Now i know it was a foul and ok u say anyone would do that .. i have to disagree i say any player with respect wouldnt try and get ther friend sent off. maybe he wasnt trying to get him sent off..maybe he was just saying it was a foul.. i agree with that. but its just the way he came running over got to the front and started making hand gestures to his so called friend and then winked and told him to shh as he walked off.

Are we now questioning the quality of Ronaldo's eye site when he was not that far away??... if that the defense? Please!
Ronaldo never once gestured for a card (as most players would have done) all he did was point to the incident and say it was a foul.

How you know what Ronaldo was winking at? and for what reason?
If you say he did it to Rooney than maybe he did it cause Rooney was swearing at him like a mad man and it his way of telling him to shut his arse and let him know he is behaving like a child.

How do you know What rooney was saying?

I only wonder if ronaldo actually see..was a player on the ground...or the foul. the ref hardly saw nottin and never give nuttin until ronaldo come over. that all im saying. ok it was a red card..but i think cristiano ronaldo  was really harsh on somone u call ur " very good friend "

So what you are saying is that you were hoping for Rooney to get away with a definate red card offence?? You are not upset with Rooney for what he did, you are upset he did not get away with it. Nice!!
Friendship with Rooney have nothing to do with this... remember Ronaldo's other friend is on the ground with his balls crushed!!

Now I dont know what exactly the wink was about but here's my view: Part of the game plan was to get under Rooney's skin --get him mad and let his temper get the better of him --Ronaldo was probably the one chosen to antagonise Rooney since Ronaldo knows him best. Big Phil is known for tactics like these and dont you guys remember when he said before the 2002 world Cup telling the Brazilians to go out and foul becuase the team that fouls most usually wins. Scolari is a wily coach and plays everything to his advantage--even if its a bit sinister like this one

Thank you someone talkning sense..this what i be saying

What sense???... this is nothing but wild speculation. If Ronaldo's job was to get under Rooney's skin as you say why did he go to the ref and not just start pushing or shoving his hand in Rooney's face which would have been more effective??
Why did he not do anything else in that game to get under Rooney's skin???

Come on... Rooney lost it, plain and simple. He is the ONLY one to blame!
