Not familiar enought with all the leagues to cast a vote, but from what I hear, the bank league is well run.... Interestingly enough, Dexter Skeene was part of that league. Not sure about now, but it always made for a nice family outing.

In meh small goal days we used to have a box or penalty area in front the goal. If yuh play the ball while standing in the box , is ah penalty or if yuh get bang in the box is penalty...

Football / Re: PATRIOT Match Report for Barbados vs T&T
« on: September 08, 2011, 07:16:02 PM »
Thanks for the report Patriot, much appreciated.  You mentioned that we lined up in a 4-5-1 formation, but dont look too much into that. Football these days has a lot more to do with team structure and individual roles and less about what formation a team line up in.. Peace.

Tinto .. 8?
He is a winger and part of his job is to attack the sides and provide service. We all know that he struggles with his crosses as was the case in this game. By giving him an 8, you saying he was perfect in all other aspects of the game?

I'm not hating on Tinto, but I said on here that he would not make a T&T squad once all the pros are back, but I guess I was wrong. I just hoping that the rest of his game has improved sufficiently where are few bad crosses could be overlooked..

VB is correct...

Clint Marcelle.

And Gally was second...

Clint and Gally both made their debuts at 15, however, Clint got him beat by a few months...

Though this might be a trick question. I was trying to remember some U14 players...steups, Flex yuh coulda say men's senior team

Football / Re: Jamaica Football Thread.
« on: September 02, 2011, 07:58:21 PM »

Maybe Equador took their feet of the pedal and play some U-16s when they realized what jamaica really was.  We may not have scored 2 but we sure as hell would not have conceded 5. After all the last time 2 times a T&T team played Equador we tied 0-0 (at U-20 World Cup and last October where we tied 1-1 again at U-20.
You is kicks oui. Trying to say a 5-2 cutarse in a friendly better than a 3 points in a WCQ. Jokes

Come on brother, Jamaica tied Ecuador last year in Miami 0-0. There are lessons to be learned for the Boyz in these tough away games. If you play easy teams to win every game you play you learn nothing. This was a good test for Jamaica to follow up on the string of games weve had in recent times vs Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, China, Honduras, USA, Guatemala, etc. Beating up on Caribbean teams and the weaklings from central america does not give you a true picture of where you stand in world football. Simply put, this Ecuador team will perhaps beat Jamaica again if the game was played tomorrow...they are better than us! On to Colombia...lets see what happens in that game.

you have time wasting on these fools. most of the team was also experimental.

dont waste time with us fools .... get yuh nanny off the board...

Id take off Stern for another central mid, either Boucard or Leon and move daniel to the wing. It sounds like Bermuda crowding the midfield we need to get more control of it.

stern should never start any match for the team if roberts and jones on the team

he should come off the bench for a player like jones, hyland should never start in the mid, hector from what little i have seen of him is the best creative mid in the team currently

come off the bench for who?

read carefully nah ::)

you should think twice bf you post

8. We have a world class striker

Who?  Ah tort Yorke retired?

KJ good he's not world class yet......

By industry standards, KJ IS a world class striker. He plays in the top tier of one one of the top leagues in the World. Or, maybe John Terry dont know what he talking about?

Hold yuh head up Arsenal. Take some refuge in the fact that Sir Alex and Wenger have faced each other 46 times with Sir Alex winning 21 to Wenger's 16, with 9 draws.... not bad at all
