On an attack with carlos or cafu the midfield doesn't have to wait for the wing backs to overlap and provide support going forward. U know how much time i see the midfield lookin around to distribute the ball and then the wing backs decide to run. Especially when the play changin from one side of the field to the next.
Daz what i find they not doin.
I know RC doh really defend that great but these guys eh seem like an improvement.
I shake my head nuff times when i see what they doin with the ball when they in attack.

Real good idea, maybe even a Caribbean league is a better idea.
Same ting wrong with cricket in the WI, the competition not good enough to lift the game to that required at the international level

Eve is comprehensively to Rahim. To me Rahim is not much better than when he started playing for the national team. I really wanted to see him get better. Eve's selection to the 23 man squad is good decision.Let him work for his place in the final squad.

I second that

Let's not forget that the suad gets alot of time together to train b4 the world cup. They'll get their act together man.
I remember at the beginning of the last WC I was the only one backin Brazil.
D&^k riders and Bandwagoners were all over Argentina, Portugal and France esp after France demolished Scotland 5 nil or so in a warm up.
I was tellin ppl how Ronaldo was trainin and had recovered from his injury since I am a big ronaldo fan and was on his website everyday monitoring his progress.
Brazil is the most talented side and they have a good coach. Plus they have the X factor in Ronaldinho who seems determined to win another WC.
Once Ronaldo joins the squad look out.

PS Iz funny how man didn't know bout Ronaldinho b4 he join Barcelona eh. Where is Diego? Daz a calming influence in the midfield that they could use

Diego??? to do what in place of whom. The man struggle in Porto you expect him to step enn Brazil.
Who man did not know about Ronaldinho before Barca. Maybe U but everyone knew about him since he mash up Venezuela in a Copa America. That is why he went to France and then ManU, Real and Barca fight to buy him. You forget he played in 2002 WC before he went to Barca. Ronaldinho was no surprise. Now Eto he was the Wonder bag

Mr Know it all,
I want to know how many Ronaldinho jersey u see man sportin b4 he was at Barca

Glenn                Birchall              Edwards

                        (Spann) if 3-5-2

Once Rahim on d side, men like Eve, Dwarikah and Tiger have a chance. Really and truly what does Rahim add to the side? The man a step slow, seems to lack thwe composure and confidence to take on men, and he eh that great a tackler.

On a good note d man did take a good shot in the Mexico game.

that middle sound good my only question is the defensive abilities of the 2 middle men spann and whitley.  Can those guys help the back four defend??? just asking
if not and according to how samuel looking, put him on the left.

samuel(left)   whitley         edwards
                   birchall

Spann could real hold down a defensive mid and distribute. I think we shouldn't overlook Glen as a possibility on the left cuz I see d man playing left striker in the highlights and swingin in cross from the left. I also think Birchall was too good in the middle there to move him outside. But I sure in the end Leo will get it right

Cyd Gray has good speed, something I find we lackin lately. Leo will get the best out of him.
I woulda like to se Sam get another run though, he showed something.

This is directed at Touches,
how you organizing that midfield of Spann, Whitley, Birchall and Edwards. I like that midfield alot but it seems like we have a right wing and 3 centre mids.
Maybe Cornell Glen would be a good option on the left. Good speed. Speed kills.

I would also like to see Whitley be as creative as he is with Jabloteh. Man could be our Ronaldinho/Nakata but he look lil subdued lately

I would love to see Glen & John upfornt, their different styles should compliment each other, I know Lawrence has had some good performances and he throughly deserve his place but my heart skipd a beat everytime I see an attacker with pace go in his direction. Glad to see Sancho back to full health and in the squad because he's a qulaity defender and my heart is a bit more at ease when compared to Lawrence. No shocking inclusions except CYD GRAY.

horse,
Lawrence safer than Sancho by far

I dont care if Pele himself show up with a Trini passport IF/When we qualify for Germany '06, he go have to get a 'go so!'.  If you didnt help us get there, dont show up at the party and want to be part of history, watch it on TV like the rest of us.

If Pele coulda play for Trinidad it would be wise to pick him.

Pick Pele to do wha?

Allyuh stay away from de Elmers contact cement!

Based on the highlights Glen look good. The speed and mentality of taking on defenders that we looking for in a striker to complement Dwight's back to the goal, slow it down approach. From the looks of it he could also be good on the left side of midfield.

After watchin MLS games I conclude it is a sh*$#y league, however it is improving. And as it improves, so does the standard of US play. It is a good example for the Pro League to follow.

I think we should welcome the best players at all times. If Latapy is available we should give him a try.
Leo would be in the best position to see if the man is worthy of being on the team.
Thus his position on the team would then be determined by his fitness and ability to mesh with the rest of the unit as opposed to just spite.
My mother always say that u must not "cut off your nose to spite your face".
Who knows, maybe Leo won't find him a good fit and not pick him.

I feel y'all not reading carefully enough. I said that we should continue in the direction that we are heading. For the man who said we should play "Leo" style, daz what I meant. Hence the words "same direction". All i meant was the styles are similar and we should try to keep improving the passing and possession in midfield, just like Brazil.
