producers working overtime to make fans dislike the show. Lawd.. after the first episode I say.. now thing going happen. den braps.. I've seen more action turtle watching in balandra.

doh no why dey cyar develop character and keep d pace up........GoT does suffer from dat too

Personally, I have no problem with the pace i think this  show like GOT  has hit such heights  pal expect it every episode. They r building up to a crescendo.

me eh like it,, too much timeline back and forth..plus split group ting

Is long time a zombie eh make ah meal of ah main character
If the producers want pace...de baby hadda get bite

Trini Rob Ford boi.lol

The similarities between those two are laughable

Scions of privileged families, trying their respective best to pretend they are the common man.
Yet their backgrounds create some character flaw aura of untouchable arrogance

dem ting does happen when yuh hire lil boys to do big man wukk

For the first time in years, there was an actual battle for first place @ the Spanish grand prix.

The dominance of Mercedes is complete though, 50 seconds ahead of 3rd place and they lapped 7th place, but only .6 seconds between Rossberg and Hamilton, who has now won 4 on the trot to take the top spot in the championship points.

That was decent

Although, dem  new engines souring de vibes....they sounding like ole hillman

Simply not as visceral as the decibel killin screaming V8's of last year

wait.. ent the ac unit on the outside of the house? I assume you mean .. install within the area where the forced air is blown throughout the house..right? Main vent which feeds the entire house? If that is the case, at the speed at which the air id forced throughout the house, can the light still be effective?

Ok, keep in mind your a/c is actually two parts, the condensor (or outside box) that everybody does see AND the A-coil inside the plenum (connected by the copper lines)-that is the part that actually dehumidifies the air and cools down your house

True when the air is moving (fan on) the UV light wont be able zap everything as it is moving so fast , but the a/c-fan eventually shuts off and all the floating bacteria saunters past slowly
Over the course of weeks/ months eventually everyting getting zapped
Moreover the UV light will sit just above the moist A-coil, where most of the bacteria is formed.

Granted, there are much larger & more powerful uv lights than just a stick, but they are expensive and you need to take apart your air plenum to install it- not a good idea for joe homeowner

The stick is relatively inexpensive and and easy to install.

For those of you with livin in 'forin' with central HVAC systems in your homes.
It is inevitable that your A/C coil is moist after use and moist creates mold and bacteria..which of course is blown around the house when you run your furnace or A/C

Thus, most people accept winter colds as inevitable especially if you have children not realising the indoor air in the average home is terrible and a major contributing factor to flu or worse

I have tried a few options to counteract the dutty air in mih house ( HRV, steam humidifier, fancy filters etc)...no real change, everybody sick twice or more per season
However in December 2012 I installed a UltraViolet sticklight. Placed it right over the A/C coil to kill the bacteria in their moist habitat
Winter 2013 everybody was sick just one time.
This winter NOBODY was sick. Keep in mind I live in a house with a 4 year old that the visits the disgusting germ factory they like to call kindergarten on a daily basis.

For allyuh livin in de frozen tundra. Canadian Tire occasionally has a sale on their swordfish (check de flyer)
http://www.swordfishuv.com/HowItWorks/HowItWorks/tabid/73/Default.aspx

I opted for the american made sanuvox saber (because as everybody know yankee ting is just de bess)
http://www.sanuvox.com/en/saber-genius.php

If yuh handy with a tin snips and a screwdriver, it is a 10 minute install,, might be a lil insurance against indoor bacteria.

Just mih 2 cents

Fair enough :salute:

As a citizen, I would like to thank Mr Corneal for his yeoman service to T&T football
I seriously applaud his efforts in trying to mould the youth into champions or at a minimum productive citizens.
Moreover, because he has had to overcome many years of difficulties created by the previously inept footballing administration. I hope he has a good future in some private capacity.

ok,, that being said...anton riiiiiiiide de cuddersmunt ouuuut jed,,pleeeze doh come back,,open ah skool or  a doubles cart or someting......and bun yuh fadder typewriter, we eh want to see no more incomprehensible ego stroking artikle in de papers no more

I really envy you, breds!!!!
:-[  i should be thankful..thanks for the wake up call Deeks. Forgot the bottle half full for a second. :salute: :praying:
I hope i'm giving ppl a real indication that none of this easy, niether on the kids nor the parents or anybody involved. Yuh just can't want it and it happen. "Just Do it" is a marketing ploy, not the real world. Bear in mind this is about any young athlete in any elite sporting endeavour.

No, I think most parents are aware of the expenses and level of commitment it takes to raise a 'good' far more for an 'elite' athlete

I read a stat de odder day that say 7 out of 10 canadian parents take their kids out of hockey in the 1st or 2nd year..simply too expensive...can you imagine how much talent is NOT being tapped if that is accurate

It have a fast rising youth named Josh Ho Sang that OHL/NHL teams watchin tight.....just by chance I was talking to his father at a minor league game last year (ultra-rare to see ah rastaman at a minor hockey arena)..anyway,,de kinda time he spend on de road takin dat kid to games is incredible

I agree with Deeks oui..max you hadda get your salute breds. Not everybody could even begin to think about the kinda commitment and energy you and yuh wife have put in thus far.

46
On a somewhat tangential note...anybody else notice the similar lilt/speech patterns with the malay 'spokespersons' and carribean accents

someone ah dem was  in a press conference de odder day,, tv was in the next room...i coulda swear de man was from st kitts or someting oui...is only visual confirmation make mih realise was a malaysian talkin

« on: January 05, 2014, 02:27:33 PM »
I'm sure the TTFA will receive some of the gates - it's not a charity and we can't afford to fly them anywhere for free, and the players don't play for free neither.

Also, Trini came 3rd in the Pan American Games football competition that year - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_at_the_1967_Pan_American_Games

If only we'd beaten Bermuda!!
Does anyone know what really happened in that game? I understand that a player in pursuit of personal glory, "passed himself" fit when he wasn't  and thereby compromised the team's effectiveness and efficiency. There went the result!

Umm ....would you care to expound on that?

First time I hearin anyting so.....then again, I learnt of the Haiti/TT WCQ debacle almost 3 decades after it happened
Anyway prefix da talk with "ah did hear" if need be
