thats rel bullshit , is it just me or didn't you'll see the world class hasley crawford stadium for the england game. They should sort all that shit out between him and Hunt and games should be played there and that same work they put into the HCS the same ground staff should be used in the Mannie Ramjohn , Larry Gomes and Dwight Yorke.

thats why we will always fail at youth level....individually we are good but as a team we have no cohesion...ok hyland is of the age to play...why not let him play...most of the good young players who are playing professionally and play with their countries senior team still have to play their age group no matter what....messi, aguero, dos santos, freddy adu etc... and when they fail we  will blame vranes ....why not use them..is only in trini we does want to walk before we creep....sad times ..
very true thats the view of most of the people who are not invloved in the national set up.

and trini_2010 well they hav been playin games against some pro-league sides and reserve side as well as some sides in the super league. not great opposition. but this year we probably have one of the best teams at the under-20 level now is just up to the football politics.

i know they wanted silas spann to join the team as well as hyland , and hopefully captain to team , but that is a long shot , last time i spoke to him about a month ago. he was supposed to be signing with portsmoth in this summer transfer window.

Youth Baller,
Do you go to see club football in TnT? I can put meh head on block to say that 95% of the people in the crowd don't even know the names  of the clubs or players in the local league(pro, semi-pro or otherwise).

But they know Beckham and all the English players. People home don't care about football. We want that to change. We want them to support their local team. The TTFF don't have any interest in seeing that happen. What is their program for bringing people to the game. We know everything about the EPL.We knows nothing about our league.

Youth baller, that "big" crowd might be a big thing for you, but in 70's 15 to 20 thous. at international games against Suriname, Haiti and even Barbados was no big deal. Imagine TT playing B'dos in an Olimpic qualifyer in the oval, 18,000.  North vs South 20,000. in the Oval. 15,000. in Skinner. Mahaica, Apex, Palo Seco use to sell out for interleauge. FA trophy final used to be a Grand Final. I know what is like to play and win FA final in front of a big crowd. Youthman, these are  the things the guys on the forum miss about football.

Jack has done well to climb the ladder in FIFA. Hooray. But he sucking the life blood out of the local game. We can't be consistent when he running football on  vay-kee-vay basis.

Deeks , i know local football now fairly well, i play in the reserve league in the pro league., i know the game and the politics surrounding it now.

Youth Baller u claim dat u know nuff bout oui football. FYI d last time d WC warriors play was against Austria in Nov 2006. In 2007 d blacklist was well in effect and nobody from d blacklist eh play b4 Ash Wed. So get an education b4 u come here and talk u crap 2yrs ago we were all plannin we Germany trip

allyuh wearin black for blacklist etc. guess what , many players on that so called blacklist played.... Kenwyne , Carlos , Stern , Yorke , Lawrence, Whitley..... the rest of the players  just cannot make the team...... watch where birchall is now , resreve league on a lowly ranked team ,avery john play usl..... cyd gray injurjed!!!! prove you point!!!and the other players are aged....

42
Tell me something, who from this blacklist , didnt play for trinidad over the past 2 years? and if any of those players who didnt play on this  list deserve to make the team....

you TOTALLY missing the WHOLE point

Jackula is seriously BADMIND for having the Jacklist in the FIRST place.........when you realise that ,you WILL instantly mature.

well why still argue of the blacklist.... it is obviously not in effect anymore. the best players are being choosen.

43
He pay wit money that FIFA gave 2 d TTFF NOT D JWFF. You like Hilary Clinton don't know how 2 disappear

Tell me something, who from this blacklist , didnt play for trinidad over the past 2 years? and if any of those players who didnt play on this  list deserve to make the team....

45
Midknight, I had a feeling that that was it.....since yuh post earlier ah wanted to comment.......cuz I was reading de thing and saying to mih self....wha rock dis "Sports editor" now crawl out from?...and also on the talk shows over the past few days, people going on and on as if they NOW realise it have a blacklist....

And FPATT yuh so right, if it weren't for this forum.....I might have been just as dotish as the majority out there.....Lasana Liburd and The Fearless One are the only two media personnel I can single out as having any interest in seeking the truth so if you doh follow their respective writings and radio programs, as we say here crapaud smoke yuh pipe...

As for Frico and Youth Baller, well dem does be on here and obviously eh learning nutten so like ah say before.....dey just too brainwashed to think for they self anymore.....

And he STILL en answe mih question..!! 8)

well minority guys......answer my question too nuh... who help trinidad football more in the past decades??? Sure occonorg didnt do one f*ck for it.
Incase you didnt know it was JW influence who ever made Trinidad qualify for the World Cup , Under 17 tournaments etc, the man made .5 (play-offs) spots for us.
The man brought Leo Benhakker, Maturanua , an paid them.....jackass  ;)
You a blasted big man back up yuh ting nuh , instead of asking asshole questions which hav nuttin to do with the topic.

46
ok , "saywha" sure i have more football experience an knowledge than you...
you sound like you eh get ticket and hadda watch yesterday game on tv.

47

So if your uncle take you in, feed, yuh, clothe yuh, send you to school..that mean he can bull yuh too ?

well answer d question nuh a**hole.

48
JW , funds all major football ventures.... He has got the best teams , and world tournaments to be played here in Trinidad. If it wasnt for the Under-17 world Cup you think Trinidad would of ever gotten 3 Brand new football stadiums? Dont know bout allyuh , buti hear JW gettin loud cheers yesterday when his name was announced. WHy everyone didnt boo? so what about 20,000 plus brainwashed too and only a few people on the forum know the so called bed/evil JW , who hasnt help trinidad football progess?

49
OK, who has helped Trinidad football more? over the past 15 years or so....

50
I my opinion , Jack Warner is the best thing to ever happen to Trinidad football and has helped us leaps and bounds. Besides the fact he is awkward in speech and mannerisms , the man is very well educated and has one of the best football and business minds in Trinidad and Tobago.
Plain talk bad manners , who doe like it well vex.

51
speaking about ballotelli, yea what you'll think about this youth , he certainly in my eys right up there with bojan , pato an dos santos , a next very good young player is giovicno, from eploi i think an playin with Italy under 23

Starting Line-up
Marvin Phillip/ Jan MIcheal Willaims
.Ancil Farrier    Dennis Lawerence  Makan Hislop   Kareem Smith
.Hayden Tinto   Aurtis Whitley  Atuallah Guerra   Carlos Edwards
Stern John  Kenwyne Jones

Carlos Edwards and Kareem Smith being Right Wigerer and Right Back sry ddint make it clear.
I rate Atuallauh Guerra as one of the best midfeilders in the country , excellent on the ball , good ball control and great vision and passing. For the past two games he came on he impressed.
And well maturana said it himself when he now arrived that tinto is one of the most skilled players in the pro league. I hope these two youths start or getto play a good portion of the game.

Tell me what you'll think ,that squad there an hopefully , Scotland, Theobald and maybe Julius James could fall in, still dont care much for Gay at this level.

which one to open in the link , most of them not opening.

56
This is bullshit that the coach is doing, they are almost a hundred players from Trinidad between the age of 18-21 like Adams and Gay WHO ARE BETTER THAN THEM, that were not called to train so what d ass happen to javed mohammed , kezi lara, and all the hundred others who are better , jerrol forbes, ancil farrier. i dont understand training these under 20 players, including the under 17 keeper. The only thing i could see out of him training them with the national team is the carry their experience to the under 20 set up where they are still nto stand out- talkin about adams and gay , and i know who tehy stand-outs here are because i have about 5 close friends training with the Under-20 pool now. what about robert primus, shevon fredricks"pumpkin", why manners cant get  acall up to national to train, and other numerous other youth forwards and defenders. I COUDL BET MY LIFE THAT UNDER 20 SIDE GOING TO BE ALMOST THE EXACT SIDE FROM UNDER 17 1 YEAR AGO , when the truth is only about 4-5 players from that side are capable at the under-20 level. BULLF*KINSHIT!

RECALL FOR WHITLEY
T&T coach Maturana selects six teenagers
Lasana Liburd

Saturday, February 16th 2008

team selection: Trinidad and Tobago head coach Francisco Maturana, right, chats with assistant coach Anton Corneal during yesterday's meeting at the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation's Technical Department office.

Trinidad and Tobago 2006 World Cup midfielder Aurtis Whitley should mark his return to international football on March 19 against El Salvador after a 16-month exile from the national set-up.

Whitley played a starring role for the "Soca Warriors" as they clinched a World Cup berth for the first time in 2005-he was preferred in central midfield to captain Dwight Yorke in Bahrain on November 15-while he featured in all three matches in Germany 2006.

The Vibe CT 105 W Connection playmaker was among 16 players blacklisted by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (T&TFF), five months later, over a World Cup bonus dispute, while his club career was punctuated by absences for "personal reasons". However, new national coach Francisco Maturana is willing to gamble on the talented midfielder.

"The past is history and I am not concerned about that," Maturana told T&TFF media officer Shaun Fuentes via a translator. "I am interested in making new history... We told (Whitley) that we want to know his level of commitment and he has assured us of this.

"All the players that represent the country must be committed."

Whitley heads a 22-man list for the home friendly that will not feature any Europe-based players since it falls outside of the FIFA international calendar. There were two interesting inclusions from the United States, though, as 22-year-old Major League Soccer (MLS) strikers Randi Patterson and Robbie Findley-both US citizens-were included.

Findley and Patterson were born in Arizona and New Jersey, respectively, to Trinbagonian parents who migrated to North America. Findley is the more accomplished of the pair after scoring nine goals in his debut MLS season last year for Los Angeles Galaxy and Real Salt Lake. He was a last-minute substitute for the United States in a friendly win over Switzerland last October but can still switch loyalties as he has not represented either nation in a competitive fixture.

Thus far, Findley is the only player from the 22-man shortlist who has not confirmed his availability.

Patterson signed for New York Red Bull last season but failed to win any playing time, with Colombian forward Juan Pablo Angel and US wonder kid Jozy Altidore firmly established up front.

The third MLS player in Maturana's squad is new Toronto FC recruit and versatile 23-year-old defender Julius James.

James, who played alongside Kenwyne Jones and Jan-Michael Williams at the 2001 Under-17 World Cup, is coming off a stand-out season with University of Connecticut.

Left side US collegiate players, Kevon Neaves and Ancil Farrier, complete the list of overseas players who will join the Warriors.

Maturana also offered a chance for six teenagers to wear senior team colours in what he described as an effort to secure the future of local football.

Eighteen-year-old CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh midfielder Khaleem Hyland maintains his place from the Ash Wednesday friendly against Guadeloupe, while his club teammate, attacker Lester Peltier, is also selected.

The teenaged quartet of El Dorado Secondary striker Jamaal Gay and 2007 Under-17 World Cup players Leston Paul, Akeem Edwards and Daniel Cyrus also earned call-ups.

Bmobile Joe Public midfielder Silas Spann, United Petrotrin midfielder Keon Daniel, Defence Force left back Aklie Edwards and Jabloteh pair of playmaker Ataullah Guerra and defender Karlon Murray are under-23.

Marvin Phillip, Kern Cupid (both W. Connection), Seon Power, Keyeno Thomas, Gary Glasgow (all Joe Public), Keston Williams (Defence Force), Hayden Tinto (Caledonia AIA), Jason Marcano, Daurance Williams (Jabloteh) and Makan Hislop complete the list of invited players.

At least 12 players from the present squad should maintain their places for the friendly against Jamaica on March 26, which falls within the FIFA international calendar and would therefore feature several Europe-based players.

Thre are some different or additional names here to the previous list posted at thew beginning o the article.

It would be very unlucky an depressing if he is noy selected because of some favouratism , but hopefully a foreign coach should somewhat elimante this. James is 23 now btw.

Coaches Quotes (may not be accurate but somehting to the extent of) "James has little flaws and is ready for Professional Football) He is a better defender than Abu Bakar an Makan Hislop , probably noriega and those guys too. Saw a game he played ending of last year he was tough , quick , great aticipation, composed, and hard to pass.Since this is or as his last year in University , he should make big strides foward playing at a a higher level an should be more than ready by 2010.
