« on: October 16, 2007, 08:02:05 PM »So teams that are in the championship division don't have a second eleven team playing in that league as well? I remember back in the day some teams that come last in championship would avoid relegation because their second eleven team won the second division.
You have to have rellll players to do this , because i stand corrected but if you have played three(3) or more games at championship level you are not allowed to play in the senior grade.
Well this year seems to be one of the best most competitive and closest year ever.
Central Champions - Carapichima
Tobago Champions - Mason Hall
Still Undecided in the South , East and North where the title could go either way.
South Naps with on 23 points and a game in hand compared to second and thid place Princess Town and Pres on 19 each with two games in hand but a lesser goal differnce.
North Malick and St.Anthonys both on 28 points separted by one goal and two games in hand.
East San Juan and St.Augustine both on 22 points with one game each left.
(and the second place teams in East and North have both beat the top team before in their respective league)

Exactly what i was saying. This was a sh*t side , these players would have done good in an Under 20 tournement or in the SSFL . Most of them are not technically capable of playing at an Under 23 Olympic level. 3-2 to Grenada now. This coach should be fired and not given a chance at coaching any team again this rel bullshit. How d ass we gonna make a next world cup at any level again.

Players like Aaron Downing 20 years , Mathew Bartholemew 19 years Larry Bachus 20/21 years are the few that i know of. Also there are so many quality players left off this team like Kezi Lara , Julis James and Fabien Lewis , Ricky Shakes , Yohance Marshall, Makan Hislop and company. Now almost vetarns ine the Prol leuague ,Brenton de Leon and Wendell Joseph .Jerol Forbes ,Richard Roy. What bout " Kenywne Jones ". Lesoton Shade former Naprima Goal keeper Under 20 keeper and current Joe Public Super league keeper is techinally and physically a better keeper than Kevin Mussio and Kareem Gray who are BOTH STILL PLAYING IN THE SSFL. and are both 19 years old. Where d asss!? has this coach been doing his scouting and research on players? Woud love to see how this side does.

Yea i Javed is my bredren years now, i could tell you that scene. Yes that is the same Javed Mohammed on the Under 19 Cricket team reserves the boy relll talented. When we was Under 17 National Football Captain he was also Vice Captain of the Under 17 cricket team. After that his teachers and parents put foward the decsion the pick one sport the specialize an excel in so he choose football as he said it would get him further with his background and honours. He got pick for the first team in cricket Under 19 based on his Secondary school cricket league performances this year. But told them he was concentrating mor eon the football and wanted to be left out of the side.

Yes well the majority these U-16 evryone should know for sure , would not stand out in the SSFL because there are many known players better or much better than them playin in the league many of them , also the football they where coached to play with the U-16 is not the same as the school team. Intercol is a Under 20 league now so the Under 16 players just fit in unless they going a shit school then they might shine.
LOOK AT THE U-20 PLAYERS THAT ARE NOW TRAINING FOR T&T AND YOU WILL SEE A DIFFERENT CLASS SHOWN BY THEM IN THE SSFL LEAGUE.

Yea i happen to knoe both these players. Aaron Downing is still at W.Connection he plays with thier Under-20 team or U-21 and was given a professional contract by W.Connection so he appears once or twice on the bench for the senior team etc. or plays for them.
Forbes is at United Petrotrin playing with thier senior team start regulary and Yes plays in the PFL with them , he is about 21/22 years now and last year was their leading goal scorer or second leading goal scorer , but either is very good. I do agree that he is probably one of the best strikers in the country and if he works harder should be given a try with the senior team.

buh wah d ass is dis ras? for the past 5 years at least ii culd say for sure that the majority if not all not players on the under-17 and under-15, and under-20 side were pick from the SSFL! teh SSFL! i rmeber see loads of players on the national teams with no PRO LEAUGE NAME by them , but instead they only had the SSFL to show that they had playeed for and most likely picked because of thier performances there . who say dat not tru lie because i hav nuf padna dat i good with up till now that i culd give you examples of!

I am playing and have been training with Naps for the past two years an prefer to remain annonyoums tho , but i bet alvin corneal or whoever , that I could pick AT LEAST 5 school teams that would beat that Trinidad under-16 teams and even more teams that could beat some of the otheer shit teams like Suriname etc. and i have been to a U-16 game to see the standard of football. Also i cannot speak for much other teams but i knoe at Naparima with those W-Connection coaches that training is not any easy just get by training , they drill you and push you to your breaking point both with the technical and physical side of the game for corneal to say SSFL is a lower standard , look at those shitty teams in U-16 that getting beat 10 - 0 .What Corneal say might be correctt in certain zones like Tobago but not all the teams Personally i find daz shit talk , ne body agree or evrybody guh stuff fight it down that what he say is true?
