2006 Unable to watch the T&T/ Mex game 2 live and being texted the highlights/lowlights...Imagine the emotional rollercoaster one goes thru reading "Stern miss penalty" "ah want to kill him"  "Mexico scores" then "Stern scores" and "Stern scores again"  "game done, Trini win"   and bawling like ah madman.

In London, the game started at 12am and no bars were showing it. So worse than following the game on text is actually following it solely on the facial expressions of another man who following it on text message. And ever try calling people in the stadium to get a rundown? yuh cyah hear nutten over de crowd noise, then they just give up and say, "ah go call yuh back" leaving yuh hanging in foreign!!

OH yeah yeah yuh right, hard luck there... I get tie up.. is really de stadium.. I remember de day good now.. first time they ban bottle beers and coolers in de stadium so we real men had to run down by de quick shoppe and buy out dey can beers and then pack it in knapsack to go in...

anyhow.. honourable mention for worst moments..

- dog falling down against the USA and gifting a goal
- losing 5-1 to guatemala
- seeing jamaica become first english speaking caribbean team to make world cup
-  taking 7 goals up in de azteca
- maurice alibey's highlight reel of misses.. de one man who have to wait for a generation to die off before his name clear.

allyuh tink dat bad?? i working with some swedish men and is so i does have dem going on a daily... men does be asking me question like if half de country sweating for de team, and how two country could make one to qualify for world cup and whether i feel i could get ah sweat for world cup...

also if we just pull some nashy youth off de beach to sweat for de team and he willing to bet me big we go take more than 5 goals from sweden...

ah feel sometimes dey on kicks but sometimes i ent sure nah....

Earlier they had the TT v Sweden, plus maybe about 12 other matches, some decent (but not huge) ones, and a round of 16 and a quarter final. Tried a few different combos and ended up gettin the 2 for sweden (apparently).

I have a program that I keep running which checks the site every minute - the thing actually work boy. I will keep it running and post here if/when it happens again.

Hey... where can I get that program that checks the site every minute??? Sounds like that works better than just checking once a day and keeping fingers crossed..

1. Michel Salgado - after taking a brutal furry cap last year and countless abuse
2. Ivan Helguera - with that perennial long face after getting leave out
3. Sergio Ramos - famous for always lying down after taking de beat
4. Ashley Cole - never truly recovered from that fan in the last world cup
5. Glen Johnson - feel sorry for him having to deal with eto'o too
6. About 3 athletic bilbao defenders - all who get cap several times

I only hope and pray sven make de mistake to start crouch, cause that tall shit is de most useless player i ever see and tallest go cancel he out easy...

from last night's game, what we can get is that the best way to beat england is play with a deep back four since in all their last internationals dating back to the northern ireland and denmark games, what is evident is that that team lacks creativity badly.. they can kill you by springing rooney, owen and wright-phillips on a counter attack but watch them when they just in a normal set, passing the ball around with zero end product.. lampard and gerrard is box to box men but doh look for them to do something creative like split the defence with an incisive through ball...

uruguay got it right last night by frustrating them with the deep back four and inviting england to bring the game to them... and de man who score de goal was omar pouso not diogo!

I so disappointed and sour with that shitty excuse for a shirt, but that was until i see the new kits that nike release and now i feeling slightly better. look at that holland and brazil they have to be at least 75% as sour as us trinis....

As shitty as it is, i will still ban meh belly and buy it though....
