I think if they should change kits, it should be with the new Joma ones. They outfit the Costa Rica team and the Honduras team. I've seen the new Honduras kit and it is really nice.

i dont know if that game is 6 pm but according to fifa it is or is it @ 8

Trinidad is actually 2 hours ahead of Guatemala, so both games will be played simultaneously. The times listed on the fifa site is listed in each countries' local times. If you double-click on times you will notice the local times.

its going to be tough.. T&T have matched up decent wid de mexicans at home ..Guatemala on the other end have beaten CR many many times at home.. so I feall like Guatemala could get 3 points against CR wid ease..wid de way Mexico played against Guatemala its going to be reall tough for Trinidad .. Remember T&T have to win against giant mexico.. This is going to be a tough one.. SBC Your shitty coaching in the first 3 games could cost T&T dat playoff spot especially dat  5-1 thrashing T&T got in Guatemala...I do not see Mexico beating T&T in POS but a draw could happen and unfortunately it will not help T&T ...
but mi a warrior so mi believe in T&T .
warmonga...

Tough game fi real, but Warriors kno wha dem fi do. Dem haffi win nuh matter wha.

that is ah real hard job because dem mexicans known for making space in the mid like it or not but what we have to do is take blasted latas out of that striking position that he cyar` play and put him in the mid where he could go ball for ball with them mexicans :beermug:

It definitely can be done. if there are 2 hard working ball winning players in midfield along wid Latapy and Yorke then it's possible. The other fact is that I think kenwyne Jones should start upfront wid Stern John. He is tall and has pace and can get behind defenders easily.

3rd point...Stern John has to be play more aggressive and make himself available into space. He cannot stand their and wait for the midfielders to try to get the ball to him. Mexico's defence will not allow that. They had a rookie defender named Corona playing last night and he was exposed many times by Guatemala last night. Two of Mexicos better defenders are not playing, (Marquez and Carlos Salcido) so this game wi should use Jones height in the air and his pace. :)

WELL DONE T&T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAASE focus on Wednesday's BIG Game.
As I posted earlier on this forum Mexico although not using Borgetti and company, have some new assassins like Mr Franco (Argentine born), and the old" Mr Muiy Pelegroso" Fonseca.

Last night I witnessed dem demolish a fighting Guatemalan side 5:2(All be it in Mexico,) but still we cannot start counting chickens, and d cock eh even see the hen yet.

I hate bringing this up, but I will, for SHOCK-VALUE sake,{ let us not forget our lessons learnt in 1989.}

So fellow forumites, let us keep on supporting will all our strength, but let us also give thanks for the blessings thus far, without gloating and getting carried away with beating a down and out Panama.

Wednesday we have an important mission, then we still hopfully have two more steps before we reach the promise land.

I know to each his own, but for me, I am praying for three more victories before I pull out meh bottle ah Champagne (aka special aged TnT rum.)

I think that Beenhakker already has them focusing on the Mexico game. They've left Panama City, and they know the magnitude of Wednesday's game.

The key to winning this game is clogging up the midfield against Mex. I saw their game against Guatemala also, and their midfielders were given too much space by Guate.

At the time of his appointment, we needed to win our home games and get 1 victory or a couple draws on the road so that come the final game against Mexico at home, we would AT WORST be needing a win to get 4th position.

Well.....

We beat Panama at home

Lost to Mexico & USA away

Beat Guatemala at home

Lost to CR away

Beat Panama away

Given the team we have, the level of play we're playing at (not very good...still taking way too long to settle etc) Mr. Beenhakker and staff have earned whatever they have been paid to date.

We are now in a position whereby we may even lose or tie and still get 4th.  Guatemala is in a MUST WIN position and even that can't help them should we win on Wednesday.

At the beginning of the Hex, if someone had given me that scenario, I would have taken that with no 2nd thoughts.

After our first 3 games, if someone had given me that scenario, I woulda tell dem dey MAD!!!

Thank you Mr. Beenhakker and Staff.  Thank you T&T players and Administration.  Congrats on doing the necessary to date!

Now...onto Wednesday's game!!!  WE MUST AIM TO WIN!  No depending on other results.  Let's do this on our own and show everyone, most of all OURSELVES, WE EARNED IT!!!!!!

Remember when I was calling for St Claire's head in the semi-final round, and people kept saying wi should keep the coach and not recycle coaches over and over?

Do you remember when St Claire fielded six defenders at home vs St Vincent? Now up comes a new coach with experience and coaching ability that have taken the same team St Claire had and put them on the brink of finishing 4th.

Ask yourself why is that? What you are seeing is someone who knows how to coach and bring the best out of his players. That is what Beenhakker has done. Even tho he is older, he is tens of thousands of miles apart from St Claire in that capacity.

Most black central american players from Honduras,Panama, and Costa Rica with English names have Jamaican links. This according to former Costa Rican captain Juan Cayaso. The Drummond brothers that played up to recenty, Mauricio Wright, and teh little guy Scott on Costa Rica have acknowledged their connections to Ja. On Panamas team, Roberto Brown once wanted to play for JA, Philips also acknowledged his links to the island.

That is true to some extent. But there is also people from other parts of the Caribbean that settled in Central America as well. In Guatemala for example, you have blacks on the Carribbean coast that are descendents from St Vincent. In Costa Rica, on the Carribean coast there, the people are of Jamaican descent and so is the case in Panama, although in Panama there are also blacks who are of Bajan descent as well so there you got both.

I don't think that in the case of Honduras and Nicaragua, there are people of Jamaican descent there, maybe from other smaller carribean islands, but that's debatable.

Mi nuh kno what di argument dem for? Zamora is OVERRATED and couldn't cut it at premiership level when he was at Tottenham and Jloyd Samuel is a good player that would definitely help, but he doesn't want to play for the Reds.

Look at it this was, Jloyd Samuel is doing what Owen Hargreaves did to the Canadians.
