These guys had serious problems with putting passses together and finishing they wasted atleast 3 good chances . Maturana has his work cut out for the rest of matches!

Daniel is a very good young prospect How old is he? he is probably not up to epl standard as yet but he will surely get their. He would do well in the championship division then move up to the epl or other top division sides in europe.

Shocking play by spann :o

Congrats to the boys on a job well done . Edwards, Birchall , Yorke and daniels to me had excellent games. Scotty was a work horse he had some nice plays with latas. The only player i was dissapointed with is Spann  he looked out of sorts and made some suicidal passes, he need to get some more playing time for he club before he get a recall for the 19th.

Great overall assesment touches. The road to South Africa is looking to be a very hard one, we need to do alot of work especially with our local based pros. As touches said it is not their fault they are not up to international standard but the mare fact they play in a league that is of a very poor quality only experince at international level can make them better as we are seeing with whitley. Keep working hard guys :beermug:

All the best Chris dont worry you will be back on the national team in a while, but you have to do is try very hard to break into the first team at coventry and score some more bullets in that way Corneal and Maturtana would have no choice to pick you although they like it or not. And you are not going through this rough patch alone there are players  like Spann ,Sancho and Jack who are not getting regular playing time at their clubs . Keep on fighting like a warrior Chris :beermug:

I say he better of where he is because he would be able to prove himself in the championship division and he is almost certain to get regular playing time there and if he light up the league then move in jan.

I agree with all your comments touches , what i also noticed for the past few games is that we only playing ball in the second half this needs to be worked on . We also need to see some consistency from players like Daniel ,Hyland and Baptiste. I was very much impressed with conell , carter ,forbes and captain whitley.

T&T senior team call-up for Britto.
By: Randy Bando (ttproleague).

T&T and Clico San Juan Jabloteh U-17 talent Jerrel Britto has been named in a T&T Senior Team provisional squad preparing for an international warn-up against Grenada on Sunday.

Britto a talented forward was unselected for the 2007 World Cup in Korea, an upset in many minds. He went on to captain the T&T U-15s in the 2007 CFU tournament where he dominated as leading goalscorer despite T&T’s third place finish. The T&T talent enjoyed UK trials earlier this year as a number of clubs are hawking the Jabloteh youngster.

T&T head coach Francisco Maturana has revised a 25-man squad to prepare for the Grenada encounter with Charleston Battery striker Randi Patterson being excused.

Other new additions include U-17 player Zavion Navarro, 2007 U-17 World Cup goalie Glenroy Samuel, Jabloteh teenaged senior team midfielder Atulla Guerra and veteran defender Anton Pierre of Defence Force also earning a recall after a long layoff from the national senior team. United Petrotrin target man Jerrol Forbes also earned a call-up. The squad had their first training session on Monday morning at the Marvin Lee Stadium.

The full T&T squad are:

Goalkeepers—Marvin Phillip (W Connection), Glenroy Samuel (Caledonia AIA)

Defenders—Kern Cupid, Akeem Adams (W Connection), Makan Hislop (United Petrotrin), Akile Edwards, Anton Pierre, Michael Edwards (Defence Force), Kareem Smith (United Petrotrin), Keyeno Thomas (Joe Public)

Midfielders—Kerry Baptiste (Joe Public), Kevon Carter (Defence Force), Daniel Cyrus (U-17), Keon Daniel (United Petrotrin), Stephan David (Caledonia AIA), Aurtis Whitley, Ataullah Guerra, Lester Peltier (Jabloteh)

Forwards—Jerrel Britto (Jabloteh), Jerol Forbes (United Petrotrin), Connell Kevaughn (L’Entente Sannois Saint-Gratien), Jamal Gay, Zavion Navarro

I have been speaking with some friends recently who saw alot of leston paul and they see him as the next latapy , also they think very higly of peltier and britto . Personally i see these three as being our greatest prospects and comprising the backbone of the Trinidad and Tobago team in the near future. What do you all think?
