Hey...read what I say and don't turn it around. I am not saying that we should just relax and site see. But we have to know where we are and cannot expect to be a World dominant football nation just like that. If you have been reading you will see that I have asked questions of the team. But I am also realistic in what we can actually do and not what I HOPE or WISH we could do.
 

By claiming the miricle is in qualifying does a great dis service to the team ... i am also advocating realistic expectations ...but not at the expense of hard work that got us here ... miricles my arse ... hard work got us here and it is harder work that will take us further ... and just like other world class teams ...ours has to enjoy the victories and endure the pressure from fans and press when we get licks ... this is not a time to let up in anyways ... bu to keep the pressure on and really shake out the team ... if u want to win you have to sweat blood, be very disiplined and take stick, learn from it, and go do better ... this talk about icing on the cake is a draw or win at the WC is utter nonsense ...the work now start

Ok palos...being a moderator gaves you liberty to be narrow minded...I see man! ...Allyuh ketch kix. The thing is that you guys would realize it..But it is in your mentality to look at foolishness only...That is why T&T doesn't produce great coaches...You didn't even comment on the effort Cyd Gray put in but you watch the beat he get...Allyuh is the kinda fellas that wouldn't realize that taking a beat can slow an attack or divert an attacker......Our football does focus on what is important...Beenhakker has focused on what is important...Jose Mourinho focuses on what is important...Alex Ferguson focuses on what is important...and the list goes on...But no locals have that insight....Our Central defense was the problem today...Namely Andrews...Go T&T

Ah wake up in ah nice mood dis morning, after de Miami heat win last night and now dis kind ah result, it put meh back in ah shell. Ah could be wrong, but some how ah feel Beenie have ah surprise fuh everybody. He just seem tuh be very relax and not worried at all.

the goals resulted from poor play in the middle ... and too easy loss of possession ...Jack is defineitly #1 keepa ... the little sweat Wofle get he look good ... none of the goals were the keppas fault ...

Why does everyone go on about england... god its not as if we are the only good team out there.Its like your almost as obssessed with england as you are with T&T! Why not talk about Spain every day instead.

jub02 ... everybody goes on about the England game because it’s games like these that make the WC the passionate event that it is ... While doing some research for a book on Irish soccer, I came across some details which all add up to the fact that T&T will beat England 1-0 in Germany. England's first World Cup was in 1950 when they went to Brazil on the back of a shocking defeat by the Republic of Ireland. In the finals they lost to the USA. Yeah, the USA who were nowhere then. Fast forward to 2006. England travel to Germany on the back of a shocking defeat by Northern Ireland. Therefore footballing logic suggests that England will lose 1-0 to T&T. Remember where you heard it first!!! On the other hand, now you know the score there is no need to watch the match!!! Good luck in Germany!

but for Man U he was an out and out striker ... for us he plays a little withdrawn becasue of his age and his ability to distribute ... just like at Sydney ... Stern does hold the ball well, beats men, ... but what he lacks is a poachers mentality ... he looks to often for the pretty perfect goals ... in the WC its not how u score but that u score ... smooth pretty goals and the ugly ones u hatta scramble for ... thats is what he is lacking ...
