fyi: Most car rental insurance will blank your claim if you park your car close to the Mexican border (no such rule for the Canadian border) and it is stolen.

there is a difference between racism and stero-typing

Infering that Mexicans steal cars is not a racist statement, in fact if you go to LA and research the facts you might find that Mexicans may in fact make of the majority of people convicted of car thieft.

To criticize the man in this case to that level is not warranted.

Just now alyuh men what want to come on here and say that we cant say I dont like Indian gul because the Bottom flat  :rotfl: :rotfl: or something like that.

There is a difference between attacking someone based on race and comment on a particular trait or behavior exhibited by a group of people.

When last you went home? KFC working wonders!

General Discussion / Re: Caribbean Airlines gives up London.
« on: November 23, 2006, 12:11:59 PM »
It seems as though we only getting direct service to London on 3 days of the week from the end of March. That is a little embarrassing. We no longer have a non-stop and our own airline is not flying to one of the cities with the largest Trini diasporas anywhere? I guess we will have to wait for the action plan.

BTW, Continental still flys from Houston and Newark. Delta commences its nonstop from Atlanta from early December.
There is a direct flight between POS and KIN but it stops in Barbados and sometimes St. Maarten or Antigua.
Copa Airlines was supposed to start from Panama City as well, making the link to southern South America a little easier. In the past you could not get a viable connection from Caracas and you had to fly 3 hours north to Miami if you were going to Brazil, Chile or even Ecuador.

The Newark continental flight is seasonal. And they expensive too.. $900 for Christmas. The Delta flight started off real cheap.. i get one for $500 from Newark->ATL->POS. I was just looking at it recently and it is $1600 now  :o

Then the Chinese dem could actually do some decent work.. they building the stadium in Grenada and I think in Guyana too.

THey might build out rail system too when the time come... look at the rail system they built between China and Tibet all up in the snowy mountains.

Tenors.. the thing about Lara is that he looks like he could play another 2 years at least. If his eyesight hold, it is very possible. The man closing in on the 12,000 and the most # of centuries.

Tendulkar is a boss.. talent for days. But the man look like he bruk down for good. Too many injuries.

Lara broke his arm against Sri Lanka a couple years ago and it look like the man just grow back one without any issues.

That is why I argued with many on this forum about sportsman of the year award. Many were saying to give the Socawarriors(Yorke), but Lara is light years ahead of any accomplishment the socawarriors will ever bring. No disrespect at all to the footballers, they did yeoman service for us and made us proud. Lara just on a whole different level.

It will be a sad day when he retires...
