So wait this Friendly is 7 days before the CUBA date. It is also openning weekend of English League. No way these foreign guys can come back from their clubs because they are only allowed to come back up to 5 days before the Aug 20th Game

Is the TTFF just calling our "blacklisted" players to say they did???????

TTFF time to get your DUCKS IN A ROW

Maturana,

Yuh real lucky. I doh understand how we were still looking for 1 goal and you replace Edwards, a defender, with another defender. Mr Cupid who had a nightmare for the last few games. Your tactics are questionable and I hope yuh get SHIPPED BACK OUT FAST.

I want to see what excuse TTFF will give us now towards our players.

Avery playing regularly for MIAMI FC

Birchill at least was playing regular for the reserve team, and i am SURE that it is a better level than pro league (just being honest)

Sancho, well hopefully yuh find a club this summer, but yuh experience will beat the young boys out right now

Cornell, if it is true about yuh attitude well yuh could keep it, if not come and take over for Forbes please.

Hopefull the SHIT stop and the SHIP start back sailing de course. Most we asking for is a decent run and good effort. If we fall short at least we could say thanks for trying, but please stop putting out a team that is NOT READY.

Miami FC 0 - 1 Carolina: Railhawks Leave It Late

Miami, May 4, 2008 - Miami FC continues their winless home record as they lost 1-0 to the Carolina RailHawks. Daniel Antoniuk's late strike sealed the victory for the visitors. Miami FC fielded new signings Avery John and Eddie Gutierrez against the visiting Carolina RailHawks for their 5th game of the USL 2008 season. Miami had to play without injured defender JP Rodrigues and forward Sean Fraser as well as Cristiano Dias (suspension).

The first half failed to produce any exciting soccer and both teams couldn't create any real scoring chances. Miami enjoyed most of the possession in the opening minutes. Perhaps the best chances were near the halftime whistle with defender Chris Williams shooting twice off corner kicks. His first effort came in the 42nd minute forcing RailHawks keeper Chris McClellan to tap the ball out for another corner. Chris Williams again found space in the box, but McClellan made himself big with another fine save.
Miami FC midfielder Leandro Mineiro had to be replaced by Eric Vasquez after he picked up a shoulder injury, at the 17th minute.
At minute 44, Carolina defender Mauricio Segovia almost made it 1-0 with an own goal after his close range clearance appeared on target.

The second half was faster paced than the previous. In the 47th minute, captain John Pulido tested keeper McClellan with a long-range effort. Five minutes later Alex Afonso, Miami FC's leading scorer with 3 goals, had a powerful header hit the crossbar after a delightful Sean Cameron cross. Avery John's 56th minute header off a free kick forced another good save from McClellan.

Carolina absorbed the pressure nicely and were able to respond with Kupono Low's low range strike that went just wide of the goal. Antoniuk could have made 1-0 in the 68th minute, after a nice combination with his teammates. However, his close range effort sailed high. Tempers flared after an earlier scuffle between Afonso and McCllellan. Nico Mosquera earned a caution before being substituted in for Juan Pablo Galavis.

With the clock ticking, head coach Zinho made a tactical substitution by replacing defender Eduardo Gutierrez with forward Sean Barrett. The gamble didn't pay off as the defense was left exposed during counter attacks and Antoniuk was able to slot home the game winner in the 87th minute just before being replaced.

Miami FC pressured in the final minutes and almost earned the equalizer through Sean Cameron, but his header went over the crossbar.

It was a harsh blow for Miami FC who remain winless at home. The Blues now will make the trip to Blackbaud Stadium on Friday, May 12 to play the Charleston Battery with their record now 1-3-1.

Miami FC's next home game at Tropical Park is May 16 (Miami Dade County Public Schools Day), at 5:30 PM as they host the Vancouver Whitecaps. Season tickets are currently on sale by visiting http://www.miamifc.com or by calling 305-728-2612. Single game tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-866-57-MIAMI. They paid 6 million for him. He does not get the 6 million. His former club did + Stern.

His weekly salary is going to be different

Brent Sancho joins County.
Written by thejailender.

Ross County today signed former Trinidad & Tobago internationalist Brent Sancho on an 18 month contract. The big 31-year-old central defender has been on trial with County for a few weeks and had agreed a deal with the club around 10 days ago, but the signing of the player could not be completed until international clearance was sought from the Home Office. Clearance for him to sign came through earlier this week and the deal was completed on Thursday morning.

Sancho has been suffering from an injury in recent months and has not played competative football since before Chistmas, although he is now free from injury he is still alcking match fitness and is unlikely to feature thsi weekend against Airdrie, but County's manager Derek Adams feels he will feature in the County team before the end of the season. In a bid to help his fitness County have been playing a series of closed door friendlies this week, which featured many of the fringe players from the County squad.

On Tuesday night County beat a highland league select team 3-1 at Buckie Thistle's Victoria Park - goals coming from Craig Gunn, Stewart Petrie and David Winters, while another closed door's bounce match has been organised for tonight (Thursday), where a mixture of fringe and youth players will feature.

just back from the game... Avery had a good one. Had Blanco and Wanchope in check. Blanco was complaining about some of his tackles... like he get flash backs form Ansil Elcock.

Twellman score a bicycle kick... lucky he was not called for a high foot.

Well Done Avery. Hopefully Scott Sealy and KC win on Sat and we will see 2 Trinis in Action

Trust me Ponnoxx he is not playing badly and I can assure you he plays better than Mr. James Riley.... and in de recent game against KC I see Jay Heaps getting rough up from Eddie Jphnson.. I could tell yuh Avery wont of get push over so easy. I know he playing with de reserves but just check and see how much game they win when Avery get drop for now apparent reason.
