FS, how many unattached former Central players you want on the team?

We don't need Plaza and Rundell. We already have Marshall, to many club less players not good.

Good call by Hart, we need to see other players.

Good luck to the team.

The bigger the pool, the better for the future.

Glad to know the TTFA can't hide like they use to.

At least the problem was fixed.

No problem.

Strive for excellence Tim Kee, u can't lose.

Give them a break guys, they are trying.

Good luck to all.

Good job guys, well written and spotlighted very well. Cant wait to see what it looks like.

Like the idea of having it in South also, just can't picture much space in that area, anyone have an idea or pictures with the area they are building this Centre?

With having the Manny right next door, enough games and camps for foreign teams to be housed.

All they need now is to link up with close by hotel that have a large pool and promote some package deals.

 to the TTFA, I hope nothing comes in their way of complication, did they already get the land though and the lease?

Football / Re: In 2 years we will be a top team.... IF !!
« on: June 14, 2014, 08:13:24 PM »
We will see if some of these things will be put in place.

We want to much quick success and we have a long time before the next WC.

Now is a perfect time to start.

El Salvador is using a new team from the one that played us last Gold Cup, they didn't care they lost to Spain, they are building.

Look what Costa Rica did to Uruguay.

So lets build now and if the TTFA does not support Hart ideas, then he should go, because you think Sheldon or Tim Kee will get the bulk blame?

I love the fact we played Argentina, but what now? we can't burn all of our funds on one game.

Football / Re: How do you teach a player to be smart?
« on: June 14, 2014, 08:05:26 PM »
If the coaches are not smart, the players would not be.

He picks the players, uses the different system and train the players.

Mr Beenhakker and even Wim had our team playing really smart football, the best I have seen.

Not picking on Hart, but he has to take blame, because it starts with him or anyone in the position.

Sam, the team has been inactive for 7 months and he knew and accepted.

Beenhakker refuse to come to T&T until things are cleared up with the TTFA, a Trini coach will just accepted what they give him, so obviously, the players will be the same way.

Hart seems like a decent guy, however, I'm not sure if he sees his job as a retirement job so he doesn't have to go back to cold Halifax and just accepts what the TTFA sells him or genuinely wants to put his career and team first??

He is picking players to save his face.

He has to get involved with the T&T pro league admin and work something out where he can access his local players monthly and also invest in the youths a little more, players like Kenwyne Jones and flat footed Jan Williams should not be regulars on this team, they are to ineffective for too long.

Who cares if we lose, just build for the future.

Good topic anyway.

Football / Re: Hart needs to employ a rotation system.
« on: June 14, 2014, 07:59:02 PM »
AGREED !!! will it happen, I doubt it.

We get to reliant on certain players and is afraid to take chances because who ever in-charge always wants to protect their job and reputation and does not have the confidence in himself and his players.

We won 7 or 8 Caribbean titles with a none professional team, they all play semi pro football or amature.

Why?

Probably because our neighbours were so much worse, combined with the game being held in much greater esteem in Trinidad and Tobago. Easier to motivate when you have a couple thousand cheering rather than about 90

None sense.

We were in the same position, a little better than the small Caribbean side, just as we are today. We were always a step in front.

To be honest, we have more Pro players today than we did in those times so we should be better.

Great interview by both parties.

DJW seems very passionate about his team.

W Connection is by far the more successful and professional run team in the Caribbean and that speaks volume.

Keep up the good work David.

Central ! Central ! Central ! Central ! Central !

W Connection only competition is Point and Central.

So there is a possibilty they could win the league, not that I want them to.

All I am saying is, I hope Point or Central lock this down and get the job done and dont rely on other results.

Now, I heading to bed a happy man, couldn't sleep thinking about this game.

As Sam would say, send more St Lucians !!

I agree 100% with Sam !!!

Good call, there must be some limit.

Raymond Tim Kee trained under Jack Warner, so beware, he has the same mentality.

He is also using Sheldon Phillips as his personal bullet proof vest.

So the money they found from a hidden CONCACAF account disappeared?

I have a question. The TTFF changed their name to TTFA, why do they still have to pay Jack's debt?

I know BWIA used the same antics to get away from debt when they changed their name to Caribbean Airlines. Companies usually do this.

But if the TTFA is responsible for the debut, then they should really consider going after Jack Warner. What is Tim Kee afraid off? Jack is done, go after him that money would really help the federation.

Russell Latapy should take note.

And who is the player that dropped out, I am taking a guess its Hislop?

The TTFA is operating like the old TTFF.

Our teams is going into tournaments under prepared. Same results different personnel's.

Tim Kee has been here over a year now.

Football / Re: SWO celebrates the New Year with Sheldon Phillips.
« on: January 03, 2014, 10:27:18 AM »
We have to remember guys, the federation is dead broke and is trying to do the best with that they have. They do not have any sponsors or constant bank coming in and only get the exact money to play games, nothing extra, so cut them loose.

Weary, I also understand your point. Maybe Sheldon should get things done FIRST!! complete it and then go public, maybe he was trying to hard to please the 1.5 million critics we have in T&T.

Brick by brick I am sure he will get it done. And as someone mention, he should seek extra help, I am sure their are many out there that will come onboard for a reasonably pay. If he try to do it alone with his father pulling the strings then that it bad, UNITY is powerful.

He have to build his own and now try to fish his father's job. I am only ASSUMING here.

At the end of it all, I feel positive about him being here, no way Richard Gorden could have done better.

Btw, according to Sheldon, Leo Beenhakker suppose to be back this month.?

Starchild if u remember they indicated is money that was being received from CONCACAF was what was goin 2 b used to pay the players. The question that needs to be asked was d money received? My quirk about waiting was being sarcastic 2 a stupid response. The came to an agreement why would they not say that was arrived at.

Agreed !! and good point, so the money concacaf gave them for the players that they suddenly found disrepair?

Good call Weary.

I love this interview Flex.

Stephen Hart isn't afraid to make a stand and he seems confident and knowledgable.

I really hope the TTFA could get some funding to assist his plans as they seems very good.

Still can't understand why Alvin is some a complainer and his own son Anton works for the TTFA as Technical Director. If anything, he is only condemning his own son. What kind of father is he and all this knowledge he has you would think by now he would be coaching Brazil, this guy need to wake up.

Good luck to SH, I hope he stays with us.

Continue striving in the new year.

I notice that Coops is one of the most negative posters here. He never has anything good or constructive to say.

Obviously, the topic is about the fact the way the trial went and not a actually getting of a contract.

I wish both parties better luck next time.

Anyone know where can I get tickets for these games and if there is any sort of direct transportation to the match venue. Public transportation from POS.

Or is it better to drive here?

I never been here and I am not sure how security is. I have a sopped up car and didn't really want to bring it.

How do you get to the Ato from POS driving.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Point Fortin all the way.

The manager (Steve David), the coach (Carrington) and the players all from Point.

Good community service.
