State of Emergency now declared 20 min west of London and they now predicting that storm to start veering towards London.  Jeez

over 300 stranded motorist on the highways. Police have to use snow mobiles to get to them. Even the snow plows are off the road - they getting stuck in the snow.

More snow this afternoon.

But I would not trade that for a restless Camel ...

Camel......toe?

I think even if the mayor had proposed lighter measures....... once it had something to do with less drinking and liming it would have caused a fuss. and those measures would have been berated.

Maybe the steps are a bit to harsh from the onset, but are any of you guys living in those areas? people peeing on your wall etc or parked in front of your driveway etc. easy to say well tow them......someone else will just pass and park up again" aye look a bess spot to park"
some drastic sterner laws have to be implemented and enforced since its obvious we lack the discipline to control oursleves at the best of times.

i feel it for the drinkers and i have to say it nice being able to pass and grab some food all hours of the morning but a compromise of some sort could be found.

i would think for the food vendors it would actually eb safer in the market, some of those sides streets easy to get lock neck......man like chiki on a corner there( st name escapes me) tht when i go to buy food i have to be looking all around right through.

touches you right it is an zooning issue but an argument will be ok no more bars here again....we going back to residentials in st james etc

perhaps a compromise is a daily thing. i dont see the need for ppl to be liming tht hour ah de morning from monday to thursday as they do!! imagine  from courts to the police station on a thursday morning 1 am is jam...steups...
friday to sat.let the lime reign ...the rest ah de time allyuh fukkers find allyuh kiss meh ass bed.
no need to be keeping the neighbourhood awake....
or buy ppl out n sell the property as soley business!!!

Cricket Anyone / Re: The best of them all: Sachin-Ponting-Lara?
« on: October 04, 2010, 04:55:42 PM »
Devil's advocate  :
Lara - 232 innings, a century every 6.82 innings, averaged 52.88 and has scored 11,953 runs
Tendulkar - 276 innings (and counting), a century every 5.75 innings, averaging 56.02 and has scored 13,837 runs
Ponting - 247 innings (and counting), a century every 6.33 innings, averaging 54.66 and has scored 12,026 runs

Headley scored a century every 4 innings, Sobers every 6.15, Bradman every 2.76, Gavaskar 6.29, Weekes 5.40. It's hard to compare over different eras so I just put these names in for perspective. Gavaskar and Sobers batted in over 150 innings while Headley, Weekes and Bradman all had under 100.

As for the order in which Lara, Tendulkar and Ponting would be placed depends on where you come from generally speaking. Ponting was a better leader, Tendulkar more consistent (and more prolific), but there's something special about Lara (place of birth aside). I would probably give Tendulkar top spot followed by Lara and then Ponting.
i look at it this way. lara began playing at an older age than both ponting and tendulkar...... double and triple centuries only count as 1 century. and lara was the quicker to 10000 even though he began after tendulkar.

« on: September 22, 2010, 07:14:51 AM »
Whether or not you believe in God, the fact remains that on their death bed, as mortality looms,  many people turn to some form of spirituality to help ease their passing. So what if it is a delusion? At least the suffering and fear is somewhat ameliorated.

Pity Hitchens whose pride prevents him from seeking solace, viewing it as "sentimentality or self-pity".
thats what drugs n alcohol for pecan.....and an added effect i hear they make crash women look good so dais a bonus. religion ever make ah fatty lose 40 pounds??
