i was at the game as well and I agree. On a side note, this event has basically put Trinidad and its football on the map.


Correction.....Trinidad AND TOBAGO's football.....I know it's an oversight but I keep hoping one day we could make an effort to remember we are a twin island state and then it will come naturally..

Also Palos I agree with you on everything....the vibes here real nice......I goh be dey in de Paraguay game....

Loving it so far....but ah seriously think if we had gotten a better result against England we Soca Warriors fans woulda get a serious beat down.....dem English fans frightening EVEN when dey happy....

And one last thing....LEAVE STERN ON DE DAMN BENCH!!!!!....de only time we attack look like it have any hint of potency was when Cornell take de field.....

Nah I agree with kicker, Croatia DID play better than Brazil especially in the 2nd half....Brazil better thank God that Dida is a good keeper and the Croatians  eh really all dat creative in finishing or else dem Brazilians wouldn't be dancing today.

I would like to see how Brazil would do against Italy for example....De Samba ball ah used to seeing was missing....(is it me or anyone else miss it too??)...

Steups. As i said.....we COULD reach. Every team that plays in a World Cup can. However it not expected of us......so we dont have that to live up to. That however is not to say that it is beyond our potential. This is football.....and a lot can happen in 270 minutes. A second round place can be as easy as 4 points......and again.......this is football.....any team can get 4 points from 3 games. If de supposed favorites could never be beaten by underdogs....they wouldnt have a World Cup.....just a presentation ceremony for Brazil every four years. Hope for the best.......and prepare for the worst.....this way....you get no suprises.

Ppl.....just enjoy de fact dat we in de World Cup.....wid all dis talk going back and forth, ah hope people eh losing sight ah dat.....meh eh know 'bout all yuh but I planning to have a damn good time in Germany.....2nd round or not!!!....

Maximus Dan's "Fighter" is de official chant as far as I'm concerned.....I just see and hear some fans in one of those African countries chanting dat "Ole" one on Fox Soccer Channel.......so we definitely eh goh stand out wid dat...

From 1989, but I have to admit I got disllusioned in the intervening years and I would have to say that I am one of those "jump on de band wagon late" kinda people.  So while ah follow de games in this campaign, is wasn't till de dat infamous Mexico game ah really, really thought we had ah chance.....Mind you I have been planning to go to the World Cup looooonnnngggg before de Warriors qualified.....I'm a football fanatic mih boy...

- Best memory as a Warriors supporter to date.
There would have been many during the '89 campaign....one that stands out is being in Upper Level for a taping of Party Time and the announcer say we beat Honduras and de place mash up.....but in this campaign.....de win over Bahrain!!!....ah now understan wha dey mean by the expression "get light headed" because to be honest mih nearly faint when de whistle blow.....and all de good feelings dat de country feel immediately after.....man ah cyar find de words!!!

What T&T school did you attend.
SIGNAL HILL!!!!....When Dwight and de boys did run tings in de late 80's....wouldn't trade dat period in mih school days fuh nutten.....
