2006 World Cup - Germany / Re: Advice on a camera please??
« on: June 02, 2006, 11:03:58 PM »
Everyone bringing their Camera to the stadium? It is not allowed in the stadium according to the stadium rules. I will suggest that you bring a small inconspicious camera and not no big ass SLR with 900 x :) zoom.  Please have a look at the "Phrobited items" in this link which is posted on FiFA's site.
http://eur.i1.yimg.com/eur.yimg.com/i/eu/fifa/hoen.pdf.  They may just have it there to deter ppl. Anyone here been to another WC or have the inside scoop on this?

TnT is a streaky team, the streak will start at WC 2006 in Dortmund, everyone will rise to the occasion including the fans who have to come through as well. This is like watching ah whole team of AB in a 100 meter final in the Oly.
From possibility to actaulity (as printed on the NAPS badge)

I would say within the next two to three years we'll see who bar none the G.O.A.T in TnT at this position. But needlees to say we are very fortunate to have them both in the lineup but the books ain't done write yet.

Dwight's brings to TnT what we call in the business worls the soft skills that people tend to overlook. The impact he has on and off the field is definitely what help make things tick and be more cohesive on the pitch. I just don't see Stern in that light and I believe if it weren't for the the English clubs holding back on Dwight to play for TnT on many occasions he woulda been much better when he played for country and woulda been capped more often. Also remember, bread and butter was club money so if you get pegged up with National soccer you done for good.  Clubs are more lenient now than used to be.

Different style, I think Yorke was more coachable and is a better position player plus his onball skills and passing are impecable, he doesn't pull off those diving headers no more but he's more a finesse player now. John is power striker. I prefer Yorke but that's just my opnion. He is still very marketable.

Leonson Lewis was at Naparima College in 1985. I was in Form 1 and also played for Naps in Form 4 and 5. David Mohammed who also played cricket at one point for Trinidad was on that team. Feroza Mohammed (aka cockhead) was the goal keeper. Slim also played on that team, excellent table tennis player in Oxford club. Glepp and Dwarika I also remember as well as Toussaint. This team did an excellent job when the paly against Sando Tech in which Latas played and rocked and I mean rocked the bar. That shot I will always remember as i never see anyone else done it like that.
Roy Jagroopasingh managed the team.
