Football / Theobald could be Sunderland's missing link
« on: September 19, 2007, 09:42:28 PM »
After looking at the last few games.....I am of the opinion that Theobald would fit right in with the Sunderland team.  He has the vision and the ability.  Imagine Theobald and Yorke in de center Carlos on de right and Kenwyn up front.  Laawwwwdd have mercy.

Now for more facts:  Talks are being made for him to get a stint in the near future.  Look out for de Bleedah!

lol comparing jones to Rooney das like comparing pot roast to fillet mignon

give me a break

Good luck jones boy but you not even near...yet
Small Mag...  Ah know yuh like yuh Man U, but de only ting Rooney have over Jones is he nationality.  De tall boy stronger, just as quick and still is developing.  Rooney done peak.  It aint have no level of football dat could carry him higher.  He start in de premiership and now doh expect nutting more from him.  HOWEVER, de Jones boy go show up jes like Yorkie in he splint.  And careful, Alex wha spend out he money on him next season and start him infront ah Rooney.

De managers and dem have ah point, about de flip being dangerous. Tuh be honest, ah love de lil drama and thing, de celebration is only fuh a few seconds any way. De damn player buss he ass tuh score he goal, let de man do ah lil celebration nah. So long as de celebration is not disrespecting another human being, ah fuh it. Then again in my time, ah never see ah T&T player do back flips fuh celebration, may be de older heads on de forum, dey might be able tuh educate meh , as far as any old school T&T players dat dit back flips. However, wid dat said, as much as ah want tuh see de back flip from KJ, his safety and fitness is more important tuh him, Sunderland and T&T. So KJ, if yuh boss sit down wid yuh in ah professional manner and tell yuh stop, ah guess is fuh yuh your own good, yuh will have tuh stop de back flip boss :(. HIGHLY BLESSED.

Marvin Faustin use to do some flip before he make ah long throw......and he never damage he ankle

Bago Boy....any player without a copy of they agreement means dat dey throw it way or dey loss it. And dat possibility of it not being in de contract is unlikely.  I could bet my bottom dollar it was dey, so stop being naive

This was one ah de most interesting threads I read in ah while.  I know a still tongue keeps a wise head, so I remained quiet.  But Bake and Shark last comment was really well put and did indeed show a great deal of maturity.  That truly is de long and short ah de whole story.  I myself know Jemmott, and I know he aint starving.  And I believe that he probably already took responsibility for his mistakes instead of trying to justify it.  So instead ah men trying to justify he wrong, they should think about what sentiments Hardest himself might be holding.

Ah waiting for Bleedah to shock all who feel his accent and eloquence might hamper him.  Prove dem wrong Denzil. Dey want yuh to be fake, melifluous, prim and proper like de rest ah migrating trinis.  Hold on to what yuh know with ah open mind and you will conquer.  De man dont have no learning disabilities, so wha make all yuh feel he cyah learn Hungarian and master de language. Next ting yuh know he talking it better dan Trini.

My boy bleeder.....He is de most sound and technical player on dat Gold cup Team, I couldn't pick a better captain.  I wish him all the best and I know through his discipline and diligence he would continue to do great things.  His stint in Scotland had an unfortunate outcome, which people who know what happened would agree it was no fault of his, and eloquence was never a deterrent for great players.  As long as he and his team understand the Gafa, and the Gafa understands him, then you would witness a unison that may make you believe that Bleedah is bi-lingual.  Some of the best football I have seen has been from the more silent teams;  Unpredictable yet deadly.  All the best Bleedah, and dont let nobody hold yuh down.  You are the most underated player in TnT, and hopefully people would agree that your ability is synonymous with great intelligence and genius.

Ah done talk

De usual ting Zulu.  Dats what I have been complaining bout for years. And wid dat chupidness is why we will never beat de US.  Always waiting for a 3 weeks before a h tournament to come up before dey start a scrimage to look for men.  De only time we could ah name a steady side wid we eye close was under Beenhacker and probably Bertille to an extent.  We is not Brazil, where dey does breed football wizzards and could play with any eleven.  So until we stop dat "carry ah side" soccer picnic mentality...den we might start to do nice tings again.  And tank God for de world cup and Beenie professionalism....odderwise dem brodders might ah never GEL

« on: June 27, 2007, 02:39:13 PM »
I beg to differ broddah!....What makes him unique as a TT striker is his ability to effectively take on defenders.  I wouldn't ask him to change his playing style for him to end up just like ah Stern.  We only need one striker wid dey back to de goal.  My take would be for Cornell to get a little stronger on the ball and also more stronger physically speaking. THEN he will be a force to reckon with

« on: June 25, 2007, 03:16:41 PM »
Maybe if we have a PFL all star team that training simultaneous while the PFL still happening, then that team might probably be the best local representation of TnT football.  It will encourage local players to push harder, and give them a continuous competitive spirit to be on that team.  And guess what....it will make any coach job a whole lot easier when the selection process begins.

Ah probably should ah put that idea in a new thread, but it is a universal thought!

Well ah tink is Provoke yuh mean to say, but yuh actually raise a good point.  An all american technical staff, or an all american training program, would be far more effective than what we presently have.  A matter ah fact, any overseas based technical and coaching staff would be more effective.  The key though is that the program must not start only 3 or 4 weeks prior to any tournament, and that is why other teams in the concacaf region would always have that edge over us.  We need to stop depending on natural talent, and focus more on monotonous training.  (Remember what dey say bout Autis when he went for he little trial overseas de odder day).  But as long as we adapt that approach, results is guaranteed.  Trust meh

Ah reading de press now and ah seeing different figures. Dey say de men was suppose to get $398 000 each, but dey was only offered $1000 TT because hotel fees and food and other chupidness was deducted.  I aint sure bout de exchange rate but 220 000 pounds is moredan ah million each.  Somebody, clarify de figures for meh please.
