Yuh see....de only way to get TTFF to wake up, is for de present youth men and dem who get invited to train, must wake up and stand up with we foregin based....but ah guess dem brodders only studying dey aint go get no sweat. ah find it have ah kinda selfish mentality amongst we local players, and not no kinda unity.  Dem brodders hadda wake up and realize dat it have men outside who sad to say, could represent de country better dan dem.  Is true everybody want ah chance, but dey got to be real man.  We have first class quality players out there. Leh we win de Gold cup, put we on de map, and den dem res ah brodders goh get dey chance

Football / Change of Faith, New hope for TnT in Gold Cup
« on: May 15, 2007, 11:15:20 AM »
Apparently the word out is that Dwight agreed to participate in the gold cup under the conditions that he will skipper his same World Cup team...In other words, the black list must be shredded, and his original team invited.  I am of the understanding that Jack agreed to Dwight's conditions and, measures are being put in place for the upcoming tournament in Trinidad month end.  So people, this could mean real trouble for dem rest ah team in de gold cup.....If this info is indeed accurate.

Forumites, shed some light

T.I dat was de most sensible post ah see so far....ah was going and chuck ene meh two cents, but yuh handle it de most realistic.  Ah didnt tink ah had to wait till page two ah de post to see someting dat really looking realistic, based on de facts presently at hand....Now, ah want people to mirror yuh sentiments, and develop some realistic possible starting eleven, so we could determine Wims Competence if he does differently

Ah have to jump ene and defend meh bredrin...........From my understanding from previous conversations wid de man........Scott dont have no kinda expenses to worry bout........he rent payed, he utilities, entertainment allowance, de full works.....So a salary ranging from $30 gran to $35 gran for a 26 year old trini footballer in de US...and ah first contract not too bad....AS reported, Scott has big plans, and the right offer is already peaking at him.......So have no fear warrior fans and please dont compare de man earnings to a buffer or waiting tables.........

Whitley is ah promising player....but de coach open up he eyes.........He really need to work on his ball handling and composure.  Yes he might be able to spanner ah man or do ah rolley polley....but de fundamentals must come fuss.....Watch Stern John 2nd goal against mexico and watch Autis on de ball before de goal.............His awkwardness prevails............but...say what...he is ah fighter

Sorry to hear the coach put ut so harshly, but it is a wake up call for Autis and many other local footballers......Not to bring him down, but his style is far from professional.....look at the clip with Stern John 2nd goal against mexico, and his awkwardness is revealed.

Ah tink men getting lickle passionate about de ting man....I doh tink men serious when dey balling dey aint goh waste dey money to go and see de youths and dem.........dey just recognizing de fact dat de team just not ready........but at de end ah de day...is T&T still....is jes dat men doh have dah kinda money to make plane trip to go ah match dat yuh know Trinidad doh stand ah little chance.......Dem brodders want to be able to celebrate and get on bad and enjoy de ticket price by a good football display, and not just solely by de regular carnival spirit (win, lose or draw)....is plenty money hadda jump out, so regardless ah how die hard yuh is......men considering de opportunity cost....

I agree wid de man and dem......as die hard warriors we must still wake up and smell de judgement cofee.....Dem brodders really aint ready for dat level ah football.....and I doh tink at dat level we still hadda be teaching men to control de ball and make a proper pass.....Dem fellas have limited composure....and dem who have it - have too much (dey want to flare up dey hand in de air to trap and den make a lofted pass dong de field where it have a glimpse ah red.....Why we cyah play one or two touch football like de south americans or like meh boys Denzil and Harddest....  If everybody play dat brand where de ball doing de talking after one or two touch....MAN is trouble for dem side and dem........

And for de frighten forumites, doh dig no horrors, cause dem foreign base footballers go be available for de cup.....but now is ah scene for dem.....So doh dig nutting,

NAh man...I beg to differ.....It always had scouts doing dey ting and looking for local players....From de Semi-Pro to de Shell Cup to de Gold Cup, to even some ah dem La foucade and superstar rangers capms...scouts haze always been looking.  dwight really did well, but I wouldn't trivialize odder men potential by saying is his greatness open up interests for odder men........give jack he jacket where due

Football / De Gold Cup Central Midfield Now Suspect
« on: March 08, 2007, 10:54:19 PM »
The recent international retirement decision from our very own Dwight Yorke leaves much to be desired for our upcoming gold cup.  As mentioned, Dwight's composure, determination, leadership and fearless on-field attitude has become synonymous with great intelligence and genius.  It will be quite hard for any other midfielder to mirror these sentiments......Nonetheless, we must now ask ourselves, which two midfielders should we jell together, that will be most effective against our US and Spanish counterparts come June.  would it be (Birchall, Denzil), (Denzil, Harddest), (Denzil, Autis), (Harddest, Autis)
I think it should be Denzil and Harddest did a good job, but Birchall's fighting spirit is essential

Football / Re: Yorke announces international retirement
« on: March 08, 2007, 03:23:05 PM »
Yorke is by far the most intelligent and composed midfielder dat we was depending on for de gold cup.............right now meh heart still shattered because ah cyah see who could really fill his shoes......ah mean, Denzil developing a similar style, but that experience and respect is ah key factor...........(denzil, Autis, Harddest, Birchall,) tell me who go be de best 2 for dat central position now.....anyway....big up Yorkie, you is world class........and we goh see how de pendulum swing
