I agree that TnT absolutely MUST attack. We all see how tight their defense is they just need to work towards getting a win and not a draw. I really believe they can do it.

I don't think it's Stern John they need to get off. It's that damn Beenhakkar. From the start it seemed to me that he isn't fully behind the team. First match he claimed that although Trinidad didn't have as much talent as Sweden they worked really hard. Second match, he claimed that they worked hard to keep the English at bay but in the end England deserved to win. That certainly pissed me off. It is a level playing field now. EVERYONE has qualified for the world cup, have they not? So WTF does he mean by TnT not having as much talent? I blame his attitude fully for the performance of the Warriors. You could just feel the intimidation as they played against England. There simply was no such thing as Trinidad being on the offence. it seemed to me that they were aiming for a draw not a win in that game. Obviously, if their coach has no faith in their talent, then the chances of winning is greatly reduced.

Oh gawd ... we eh pick on Beenie enough in the last 24 hours?

My cousin from T&T was in London the other day and drop off abottle of Eldorado Special Reserve 15 yr rum (Guyanese).  It so smooth. 

Ah is not a big rum drinker but ah have it sitting there for special occasions.  Been in Canada too long ..mainly drink red wine, and carib and corona and guiness (with egg and condense milk)

But ahcould still appreicate what yuh almost do to yourfrien fadda. 

Yuh confirmed my thoughts ...yuh dangerous ....

A lot of people who make their living on setting odds realized that T&T had its work cut out for dem.  So all of a sudden allyuh know what Beenie shud a do to win the game?  If that das the case, tell meh your secret so I could get rich and retire now.

I go tell yuh, I never understood Beenie's pullin of Colin Samuel in dat Sweden game, and I said it here, I never saw him as a God after Sweden, we were lucky!  Now, Samuel eh even get a sweat!

Leh me tell you a story.

My daughter is a 1st generation Canadian .. she never been to T&T (well not yet anyway).

She don really know footbal other than at World Cup time

She watch the game is school today wearing T&T colours and leh me tell you ... she cry  when England score.  But you know wat? ..

She say those boys play with their heart and never gave up. 

She is proud of her T&T lineage.

The point is ... win or lose football, the Soca Warriors had a positive effect on her.

Beehhakker help get them there an because of that, I think the world is a better place today because my daughter have a better appreciation for this global village.

So STOP  pointing fingers at Beenhakker and the Soca Warriors. In hindsight some decisions could have been different.  But that is always the case when a team lose.

I flew my T&T car flag this afternoon and got a lot of friendly waves.

another thing, I organized a group to watch the game today .. 1 German, 1 Italian, 1 Greek, I Portagee, 1 Englishman, 1 Canadian, and 1 T&T.  The fact a group of perople with different lineages could come together and enjoy the game means a lot to me.

I SALUTE THE SOCA WARRIORS!!!

They both sound confident that they will play their best and by doing so will improve overall football.  Das all we can ask for - do your best in any situation and yuh still a winner.

when i was coming up(and to this day) there was a unwritten code between the fellas in my circle (brethrens from de area  and brethrens in school) that your brethren's ex(ex:meaning: someone you had a serious relationship with..feelings,history etc.) is off limits(providing you and him still brethrens)...

would you take it as diss,catch feelings,be distant with your boy/girl etc. if they had or persued a physical or personal relationship with a ex of yours??...take my definition of ex above before you respond...

Allyuh ignoring the fundamental point that this whole premis is based on ownership.  De fact that yuh cyar pursue a realtionship wid a bredda ex suggest that the bredda have some unwritten right to the ex and therefore is off limits.  This "ex-wife or ex-girlfriend" theory is get in the way. It boil down to people controlling their own destiny.  And if yuh bredda goin to be upset wid you, den yu hav to take that into consideration and mek a Choice.  Who more importnant, yuh bredda or the bredda ex.  We doh own people (not anymore anyway) so dey should be able to make dey own choice.  Das what the slave owners use to do (and today as well in some cultures), tell yuh who yuh can marry or not marry.  Archaic.
