when it drop somebody will pick it up and run with it till it drop again, cyar stop this.

sure they can stop it, by replacin the maze ah "paper" with a computer databases "with offsite secured backup" for starters, why u feel dem licensing officer fightin down dat plan so hard,

1)too much track to cover
2)an den dem ol man ha to learn how to use a computer

well that is it

you going and telll dem ole arse license officer who still writing with quill to use ah computer to enter any records

to this day, if yuh lorse yuh license yuh had to dig up in ah big ledger to find where yuh sign for it how much years ago.

yeah boy... the book of life yes.

Last time I renew my licence i see an elderly couple flipping through pages in that huge ledger for about 45 minutes trying to find their signature. I feel real sorry for them.

If the licencing officers not willing to adapt to change then get new licencing officers. Half of them done corrupt already as is..  I knew someone who tendered for a project to computerize the licensing office and is just common knowledge that they not willing to do it because it would make corruption difficult.. sad state of affairs.

not to cry down the old eh, but all over d public service from top to buttom, the older heads does frustrate the transition to computer technology, ah suppose is ah fear of redundancy eh, but oh god man,.............95yr old man in europe an' d states getting comp literate and even earnin IT qualies,.................an all we ole people sayin is dem to ole to learn dat, but yet still where I work dem same ole people learn how to use browsers good good ............ and have large porn collections to boot....................if u could learn it for vice, you could learn to continue earnin your dollar

« on: January 05, 2009, 04:36:09 PM »
The man asked a question and then stated what he expected/wanted to see from Latapy's inclusion.

his expectations are exactly what any logical thinking person expects....what yuh doh feel we have the right to expect magic from the Little Magician?  Like allyuh gorn mad?

he wants stable line up, he wants better organization, he wants cohesion and stronger attacking midfield.

That is a lot to ask for in T&T ball.  That is magic he want!

Jack hand in the team selection.  Without Latapy, our midfield has no teeth (even with his limitations due to loss of pace, age etc.)  As long as Maturana dey we have a hard time getting stable team selection, passing game (except backwards passing), now Latas come he have big expectations and bawling we trinis like to bawl like c**t and turn ass?

Steups.

Anyway I voting for Maturana as dentist of the year 2008.

His prize:  A little Plaque!

E-Man...lay off Obama, some people turn to mythical figures as Jesus for salvation, and right before your eyes, you have the Black Messiah.  ;)

The movement for change won't be televised, ordinary people do extraordinary things!!!!

what big expectations u talkin bout, ah more consistent squad, better general midfield that does happen more often than not, these days, when he an Dwight in/around d team

now if a say we goin beat d other hex teams ass all over d field, then u could say ah mad, All I expectin is better play and maybe jus maybe d man might find a suitable replacement for he self, end of story, win lose or draw. but is the losing I worried bout because trinis notoriously fickle, bad tongue and damn ungrateful and if ting doh work out............what den......he's ah goat? and no I is no 25 year haven't been back expat, been here all muddac**t 31 yrs a mi life, doh even have a passport, so ah know we good.

and no ah not raggin on d expats, we do what we must

peace

And you not asking for magic dey?
steups.

no not really, when his game is on he brings the midfield to life  d other players feed off that....... or haven't u realized
again when dem"he and dwight" arround d team u generally get a more capable side chosen and all the other stuff I stated above

Simple question:  What yuh looking for asking dese kinds ah questions all de time?

all d time when, boss, u offended because a man bein pragmatic

I hope yuh doh turn ass if yuh expectations eh get live up to.

hence the reason I said "expecting/hoping for"
leavin room for disappointment boss, Trini doh like to do dat an den does turn ass, c**t, u name it, dem does turn it when ting eh workin out

« on: January 05, 2009, 10:29:18 AM »
what people expecting/hoping for from the Latapy appointment?

I ask because some seem to equate this with discovering the lost city of Atlantis,  ??? :o, and that kinda scares me, trinis have a tendency to expect magic cures for everything an den "turn ass" when dey doh get it. all I really lookin for is a more stable line up allowing for cohesion in the team, reintroduction of passing game and better organized "attacking" midfield play, whether he is on or off the field. very simple,
and no, bookin a plane ticket to SA is not on my list.

some might take dis outa context eh, but isreal should never have been allowed to happen, they played of the sympathy garnered after WWII and the holocaust, got western support for what was essentially an Illegal and unprovoked military action.

not big on the idea, but being black and handicapped I have faced my fair share of intolerance, so in general adopt a "to each his own" "live and let live" policy on such things. there is enough evidence to fight the case that a particular person body chemistry might make homosexuality a biological imperative and not just a perverse urge for some

How to run fast?
How to improve he work and strike rate?
How to play for a top flight club without being sent back to a second division club.
Or, my personal favourite, how to score goals against paltry opposition and be hailed as the best thing ever when, in truth and in fact, it just masks the fact that yuh shitty and yuh only hurting the side with yuh lazy and uninspiring play?

Just like in basketball back in de day. Fabien Sandy is a starboy for we national team and impress foreign scouts in tryouts and drills. He get a scholarship to a small school in America and cyah learn de x and o's of de system. All kinda team beating dem and he individual talent cyah make a note most times. Dey send he ass back to Trinidad yes. De role of a player the higher de level goes becomes less and less individual. A few times a game a starboy can create a game changing moment. Most of de game at higher levels even starboy players executing de coach plan, expressing dey creativity within certain guidelines, working with each other to expose de other teams weakness. Is not like u-14 where be biggest, strongest, fastest just push de ball and run past 4 men and score. When de top athletes get together the coach becomes even more important because individual advantages are small. Team philosophy, de execution of dis philosophy on de practice and game field, and having players sharp mentally and physically at de right time is just as much on de coach as de players.
