You need to stop crying about Hart, he's gone now.

Hart is a good guy, but his lack of confidence as a coach and his too careful approach was his downfall. He don't like taking chances, I didn't like him as a coach because players want to play and feel confident, when Hart do interviews on TV he never made you feel confidence in him or the team and I am sure the players felt so to.

Hart had the team playing better because he was there for 3 years with the same crop and didn't get the results. I prefer play bad and get a result than play good and get nothing.

Congrats on the win yesterday guys, its far from over, but keep fighting,

Really hated the brand we played yesterday but the results was welcoming, hopefully the team will grow.

Mexico is a major test and they run at our wingers.

I met a Mexican spy at the stadium yesterday, he said Mexico is very careful of T&T but on the flip side, they know how to attack us and where.

Twice nominated for coach of the year?

Two gold cups and the hex? With less staff and zero support and undermining?

Brother stop talking foolishness, Hart wanted the players to work harder and not take things likely...

Let's see what Tallest do against Mexico ... Tallest brand is more conservative, Hart was a risk taker, you obviously oblivious to that simple assessment

Which two gold cup he qualify the team? I know of one.

T&T got knocked out of the Caribbean Cup after one game.

They had to take the long road to the 2017 gold cup because of Hart's team and eventually got knocked out.

They failed to make the Copa America, even Haiti went.

When was he nominated for coach of the year?

I agree that zero support and undermining may have played a part.

Good article, funny with truth.

To be honest, Hart is not the man for the job, he second guess himself and his players.

He is weak as a coach.

I hope we get someone like Fenwick.

Then the Russell Latapy story, a football icon who was known as the “little magician” on the field is now waving his magic wand into T&T football under the said president and could do no wrong despite his continual failure at different levels while other coaches are falling on the roadside like corn-vendors on the Solomon Hochoy Highway.

WARNING - If you are a T&T football supporter and are experiencing pain from conditions such as muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, heartburn, sore throat, or headaches (including migraine) please stop taking on T&T Football and call your doctor right away.

If you are taking an over-the-counter product to self-treat, read all directions on the product package before taking any medication. If you have any questions, consult your pharmacist. If your doctor has prescribed a medication, take it as directed...

You have been warned. Senna & Salt might be another option.

O my....  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I really thought DJW would have done better because he had a very decorated manifest but to make someone like Skeene and Shabaaz pull you down is really taking away from him.

I hope he wakes up.

Anyone have a copy of DJW manifesto?

I hope the TTFA keep Tom Saintfiet as T&T coach, he did very good with a T&T C team in such a short space.

The team is playing with much more fight.

Forumites, all yuh help mih out.

I was real out of it last year so clearly I missed something.  We battling for a 5th place spot to qualify for the Gold Cup in 2017 after we qualified and did so well in 2015??

How dat happen??  ???

So who are the Caribbean teams that qualified already?

We didn't qualify for anything last year, we won one game in the Caribbean Cup against DR 4-0 and lost to Martinique, because the better looser in our group we have to play the same from the other groups, Haiti and Suriname and if we beat them we have to play a 5th place team from Central America to qualify for this year's gold cup.

Hart got a local camp to go play in Grenada and had a local team play Peru, Uruguay and China.

Play fair nah man. Peru is a Top 20 squad. Uruguay is a Top 10 squad. China is no Nicaragua. Lehwe be serious.

Not talking about the result bro, just pointing out he got his chance as well with a local team and camp because Contro said he didn't. I didn't expect him to win or even Tom for that matter.

What about the Grenada result?

And I am not hurry to sing praises to Tom either, as he hasn't accomplished anything as yet.

Just happy he doing well with a mainly local team.

No comparison.. one scenario is Hart was not supported and undermined with no local camps and being sabotaged...

The other is two meaningless friendlies with a team already out of the World Cup, Nic was still trying to qualify for the wcq when Hart faced them with the dictator now taking charge....

Like I said, Nic is not Mexico nor panama, don't be fooled by that, we've never lost to them before, SANTHIEF was given more prep in two games that are not of great importance..

I'm happy they won but it doesn't mean anything in perspective..

Hart got a local camp to go play in Grenada and had a local team play Peru, Uruguay and China.

Much better T&T.

I am also impressed that Saintfiet used 3 defenders and two defensive midfielders (Charles and George) like what Chelsea is doing now and got a positive results.

I also like the fact that he dropped Cyrus and when he came on he had him further up the field.

Anyhow, let's not get carried away, we have better teams to face down the road and I hope the coach still try to bring in a few heavy hitters like Bateau, Cato, Joevin, Boucaud, Jan, Levi and Hyland.

I like the energy Saintfiet brings, he did not sit for a minute and was very vocal and motivated to the players.

Nice to see some new and none regular players getting some playing time.

Adrian Foncette, Maurice Forde, Alvin Jones, Nathan Lewis, Hashim Arcia, Curtis Gonzales, Tyrone Charles, and Akeem Roach.

Hart didn't wanted a local core and he turned down friendlies because he wanted to play the same squad that let h8m down all the time.

No.

So yuh admit yuh was talkin shit.

OK.

Quote
Ok, Hart didn't get us there.

Now a few questions for you:

How many T&T coaches have gotten T&T to the knockout rounds in the CONCACAF Gold Cup?

How many have done so more than once?

How many have played Mexico and never lost to Mexico?

The two games vs Mexico (2015) we did not need to win.

Didn't Mexico knock us out under Hart in the 2013 GC?

Winning meaningless games and not getting anywhere don't mean squat.

Making it to the qualifying stage is the best but nothing to brag about especially in a easy group stage, Bertile got us to the semis.

Martinique literally knocked out out of the 2017 Gold Cup

Really?  :o

Quote
The Trinidad and Tobago’s Senior Men’s Team will jet off to Nicaragua on the evening of Christmas Day, December 25th, to play that country’s Senior Men’s National Team in two international friendlies.

The games are slated for December 27th and 30th in Nicaragua and the T&T team will return home on December 31 to continue its build up to the two CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifying playoff matches against Suriname on January 4th and Haiti on January 8th at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva

Daz de 2019 Gold Cup bruh?

It doesn't matter Palos, he didn't get us there, right?

We had two games to qualify against DR and Martinique now we have to go the long route
