there is work to do...

legally, he might just be what they need to negotiate better prices for the players that they produce, but don't wish to hold on to... however, that hyperinflated market's days are over... and with Wenger's degree in economics it may be a case of; too little, too late, but all the same, he seems committed...

I looked at him on Sky yesterday... he will bring the calmness that Arsenal need at this time...

good luck to him...

... ah have a feeling he could be planning a return to T&T's shores......to do what
The man leave we hang and dry to coach a bigger team and to add insult to injury, added nothing to the incoming class and you want him back or you are hoping he returns, close the page on that chapter a new day is already upon us

Thanks but no thanks to Bennie,I thank you for all you have done but the disrespect you handed out to Lats you do not deserve a recall....bye and all the best to you Sir

I never said in what capacity... but it would be foolish to dismiss his input if he were to be given an integral role to develop young talent under the system that Ajax has deployed over the years...

Go on fella... you burn bridges... think about the future of T&T football, you feel Turkey not benefiting from Aragones being there?... sometimes yuh have to wear yuh heart, in your chest, as opposed to on yuh sleeve...

I would be over the moon if Don Leo wanted to settle in T&T and have nothing to do but 2 3 hour sessions with the U-19s or the U-23s, whilst still advising some decent heads as to how to set up

i know Whitely will be a great addition to the midfield once he healthy...and with 10 games in Hex (and Digicel and what-have-you) i'm sure there will be more than enough games to go around for everybody to get ah game ot two......oh, and dat lil matter about men starting instead of Latas and being more effective??? we been there before, hence de friggin reason why he friggin back here playing;)

yeah... maybe so, but Latas 'magic' is needed sparingly... his influence is another thing... he dosen't have to play EVERY game...

brakes ah say... everybody have to brakes when Whitley come back...

when he come back, everybody have to brakes... :beermug: :beermug:

so who from the current midfield u will drop to start AW ???

 :beermug:

No one... roles will rotate according to the opposition, Latas could take a break from time to time... everything depends on just how attacking we want to be...

even the man himself say so too... "when ah come back, everybody have to brakes..."

« on: November 24, 2008, 01:27:52 PM »
Keane asked for funds and got it..

He chose and bought supposedly better players in every position..

Same poor results and no notable improvement in the quality of football or the fortitude of this Sunderland team.

It's a viable question.

Wha happen omar, how's my tringrove bredrin doing? Anyway good point they on sunderland and roy keane,my sentiments exactly.....

agreed... but there are reasons why...

like that lone striker system for example...

4-4-1-1 is not 4-4-2

the team is full of 2nd rate players ('cept CE, KJ, and DY of course...)

added to which, Cisse is still trying to justify himself outside of France... they can stay up, but they need to be more creative, and to be honest, the only way that will come is by playing the Trini connection...

trust me, if the fellas play all the remaining games till the end of the season they will finish 10th or 11... right now, anybody in the bottom half can face the drop... you really feel Cisse and dem could handle dat?...

they need to pull the finger out, Carlos came across because of his exploits at Luton, and was loaned out to Mick Mc Carthy's squad for what?...

the heat is on... that said though, Dwight and KJ have proven themselves, as frustrating as it is at the moment, and should be playing much much more regularly...

2010 World Cup - South Africa / 2010 World Cup's transport legacy
« on: November 24, 2008, 07:31:46 AM »
linky-> http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/africa/7744927.stm

South Africa will invest US$15.96 billion in transport for an estimated 450,000 visitors during the 2010 World Cup, Transport Minister Jeff Radebe said on Sunday.

Radebe told a news conference the amount included funds for airport and roads upgrades and the creation of new rail and bus systems.

He also said the money would ensure a major overhaul of the country's transport system, leaving a legacy after the tournament.

"We are driven by a desire to make sure that South Africa becomes a destination of choice for tourists and business.

The World Cup in 2010 is a catalyst for the development of our system because we need to meet FIFA requirements," Radebe said.

How come Maturana talking plenty now. Even though is in spanish. He used to come across like a pomiewon. I find he confident now.

He is now starting to assert himself. I don't believe Anton and Alvin have as much control over him as they did initially. All the best to him and his staff in the final round.

I still prefer Dutch coaches, but I have to look at the big picture, and if we qualify for back to back world cups our football should benefit immensely.

Respect.

That is the ideal... we must score goals and keep clean sheets, if we do this under this system, then surely we will benefit from both schools of thought... that said though... Kaisoca soccer is not a myth... it is WE BRAND...

Benjani's for me is boss, proper dictator style...

Benjani talked about his celebration on Premier League World and he's actually be saying

"I love you (point) and you (point) and you (point)"

He's a real glad man.

Dictator? I not too sure.

yes... yes... we all know the truth... but he LOOKS like he's dictating to the masses...

classic all the same...

Tim Cahill's is the absolute worst though... punching the corner flag and all that...

Which is yuh favourite...?

are you a man like Pele who put the 2 hands up in the air?... or the Alan Shearer type who runs away, finger pointing skyward?... maybe you like a certain player's celebration... Robinho's for example...

but what I want to know is, what is your favourite?.. or funniest... or most original... goal celebration.

Benjani's for me is boss, proper dictator style...
