KILLED: Mc Donald Don Ayres...

POLICE are awaiting an autopsy to find out what killed retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Rodwell Murray who died suddenly while at a guest house in Mount Lambert on Tuesday night. However, police sources say they believe Murray may have suffered a massive heart attack while in the company of a female friend.

According to a police report, at about 9.30 pm, Murray, 72, of Grace Gardens in Santa Cruz went to a guest house at Irvin Street with a 49-year-old woman. Police said that a short time later, Murray told his companion that he was not feeling well and collapsed suddenly. He died at the scene.

A party of officers visited the scene along with the District Medical Officer who ordered the body removed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mount Hope.

An investigating officer yesterday told Newsday that while they believe Murray suffered a massive heart attack they are still awaiting the result of an autopsy.

In 1992, Murray publicly disclosed the existence of a drug cartel within the police service, which prompted then Prime Minister Patrick Manning to call in the British Scotland yard officers to investigate. Murray’s allegation was subsequently laid in the House of Representatives.

« on: November 22, 2009, 04:49:29 PM »
we went from eliminating power houses to being eliminated by minnows. What a step backward. Who say Jack for Prime Minister! :o :o
How this could be a step backward,we have foreign Coach, all our players playing in foreign leagues,we play in more tournaments yearly than in the past,it's said the players we have today are the best ever,we went from eliminating power houses to being eliminating by minnows but we are qualifying for WC which never happen before,is that a step backward or forward?
But we had a foreign coach den too!  We beat Mexico in what wa essentially one off.  Is not like we were regularly eliminating any big teams.  In fact even Haiti had we number for most of the 70's.  So the talk is jes ole talk.

our team were playing our best football in that tourney and it showed....thats all!  Up to 1980 Haiti was beating we like nutten.  After Baby Doc is when haiti went thru dey big breakdown in society and we start to beat thme...up til then dem was de undisputed KINGS of caribbean football!

Mexico always cutting we arse.

We always cutting the Netherland Antilles ass.

We more or less was always equal toe Guatemala, but overall I think they have the upper hand in victories.

We always getting a draw against Honduras and in wins I SURE they leading us.

So where we went from eliminating powerhouses?

I feel some ah allyuh is real johnny come lately followers boy.

STEUPS!

There was alot going on inside the team through out the hex where by Gally controlled the team with an iron fist. He lived and die by his decisions and it showed in the last game. A few days before the game against the USA at El.Camino college ground in Los Angeles I had a long chat with a ranking senior team member whom i personally know and it became quite obvious to me from that point onwards as to what was happening on the inside.

Spiderman Carter should of been the goalkeeper in the last match. One wonder's if Gally will ever coach the national team again? It's left to be seen. Just my 2 cents.

Also if he isn't eligible for J'ca, then does the game even count?

Most likely the game will still count. Back in 1997, we had three non-T&T players on our side when we played Jamaica and suffered a 6-1 loss. Regardless of that fact, FIFA still recognised de game as an official one.

Tallest sometimes yuh must keep your windows closed. Yuh ever hear Prowler Kaiso about the computer and it's windows. You could make a good witness, is questions left right and center ;D
